“I am interested, as long as it will take down Dark, I’m in.” Raziah told him.
Chaos closed his eyes briefly and opened it. “I will see you tomorrow after I have finished training Prince Aragorn .” he said to Raziah, looking at the closed door. “He will be here soon. Bye Raziah.” he added and was gone before Raziah would say anything.
Raziah sighed and placed her left index finger on her forehead, closing her eyes and trying to concentrate and connect with her wolf but nothing happened. She couldn’t connect with Violet or is her wolf blocking her? It wasn’t her fault when she let her anger get control over her. She had tried to listen to her wolf but the anger in her wouldn’t let her listen. Her wolf had said something to her but she couldn’t remember what Violet had told her no matter how hard she tried to.
“Violet, I’m sorry.” she said it out loud and said it in her mind afterwards. She hopes violet forgives her. Opening her eyes, she raised both hands and watched as they transformed to her wolf and back to her human hands.
‘Violet is still with me but I cannot connect to her. I wonder why.’ Raziah thought. ‘Why are you quiet towards me Violet? I can’t even remember what you told me.’ She thought.
A knock on the door brought her out of her thoughts.
“Yes, come in.”
A guard came in and now before her. “The Vampire Prince is here to see you, my king.” the guard told her.
“Let him come in.” She said and the guard left the throne room and soon, Prince Aragorn walked in with a smile plastered on his face.
“I came like I promised,” Prince Aragorn said, his smile never fading. He stopped once he was close to the throne chair Raziah was sitting down.
“Chaos was here and he left not too long ago.” Raziah told him.
“He was here? Why?” Prince Aragorn asked in surprise.
“He came to tell me a story.” Raziah answered.
“A story? What kind of story?”
“Don’t worry,” Raziah said, getting up on her feet. “All I can say right now is that I now understand why Dark wants my power and believe me he is not getting it even if he breathes his last.” She told him.
“But he is dead, you wounded him, right?”
“Chaos assured me that he will come back. Dark will be back and I shall be waiting for him.” Raziah told him. And this time around she won’t be using the knife on him. Using the knife will show that she was weak, so instead she will be using her strength and power against him. He should hurry up and come.
“Dark is coming back?” At Raziah nod he continued. “Then we will be waiting for him.”
“I’m hungry,” Raziah said all of a sudden. “Come with me my Prince.” she added as she left the throne room, leading the way to the dining room.
Once she and Prince Aragorn were seated, Faith and her other two co-wives walked in and sat down on their seats.
“You know after this night you will be able to eat your dinner anytime you want in your father’s house.” Raziah told them with a grin which they didn’t return.
“What about your father Barwolf, I haven’t seen him since.” Prince Aragorn said, trying to bring out a conversation between them.
“Do not call his name.” Raziah growled out. Her teeth sprouted out. Then it went back inside immediately. Taking a deep breath to calm herself before she does something she would regret. “Don’t ever call or mention his name to me ever again and I don’t care where he is right now. I am happy that he is not here. If not I would have killed him today. I’m glad he is gone and I hope it’s for good.” she added calmly.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know bringing him up would upset you.” Prince Aragorn apologized.
“It’s okay.” Raziah accepted his apology as their food was brought by the servants, except for Prince Aragorn.
Raziah immediately started eating. Her mind and thoughts were filled with her wolf silence. As soon as she finished eating. She left the dining room with Prince Aragorn towing behind her.
“I’m sorry for what I did back then. His name pisses me off.” Raziah apologized once they were alone and walking down the hallways. She couldn’t go to her room, it would remind her of Dark. She didn’ t want that.
“I did not know.” Prince Aragorn said. “So tell me why are you angry at your father?” he asked careful not to mention ‘Barwolf’
“It’s a long story which I am trying to forget. But don’t worry, I will forget it.” Raziah assured him, even though she knew she was lying. That is a part of her she can never forget.
“Why don’t you tell me and maybe I can help.” Prince Aragorn suggest.
“No.” Raziah said sharply and stopped which prompted the Vampire Prince to halt in his movement. Raziah turned around to face him. “I will not tell you why I hate my father.” she added a second later.
“And why is that? If the mere mention of his name is hurting you, I need to know why so that I can help you overcome your hurt.” Prince Aragorn said with concern.
Holding his neck and pushing him to the wall opposite her . Her claws dig deep into his neck, knowing that even though she cut off his breath, it wouldn’t affect him because Vampire can hold their breaths as long as they can. “Look here handsome prince, just because I gave you a free hand you want to use that free hand and force words into my mouth, you should know your place. Don’t push me to the wall.” She told him and released her hold on him. Taking a deep breath once again to calm herself . “And the reason why I won’t be telling you was because the last man I told used it to insult me. So, I am not telling any other soul.”
