Elva continued to follow Hazel. Elva felt that something was wrong. If Hazel was going on a date, why would Hazel choose a place near the cemetery in the woods? Elva was debating if she should keep following Elva when she heard Elva say “honey”, which completely dispelled Elva’s doubts.
“I’m here. Come out now. Don’t worry. I’ve gotten rid of Lucy. I’m alone.”
Hazel crossed her arms over her shoulders and rubbed them. She looked around but did not look back.
Her words made Elva smell something out of the ordinary.
Elva thought, ‘Hazel tried to get rid of her assistant to meet with someone. Who would it be? It shouldn’t be Leonel since he is still in the room. Could it be Bob?
It is possible. Bob has paid a lot of attention to Hazel since they left the airport. Bob had only worked with Hazel before. When did they become so close?’
In the blink of an eye, Hazel swiftly entered the forest. Elva was hesitant about whether she should follow. Elva only wore thin clothes today, and she was so cold that she was shivering.
Elva was unwilling to give up since she was already here. Elva only hesitated for two seconds before walking in the direction of where Hazel was heading.
It was dark in the woods. The rain fell on the leaves, making a rustling sound. A strange sound in the distance seemed to be guiding Elva.
Where was Hazel?
Unable to distinguish directions in the rain, Elva lost her way in the woods. She tried to walk forward but only to find that she had returned to where she was.
At the edge of the forest, Elva could vaguely see some solitary graves. Maybe some of the graves were very old. Because of the rain, some had become small mounds. Some graves on low terrain revealed black coffins.
Having caused the death of Sally, Elva trembled in fear. Elva wanted to retreat but could not find a way back. She trembled and turned on the lighting equipment in her hand, holding it with her hand and illuminating the front.
In front of a lonely grave was a woman with long hair and a floor-length white dress. Under the dim light from the phone, the woman turned her head and looked at Elva.
Her eyes looked white, and blood flowed from her eyes. Her face was pale, and blood was flowing along the knife in her body, draining the dress all over. She was struggling to move the lid of the coffin as if she wanted to jump back…
As someone who had done something wrong, Elva screamed in panic.
Her body went soft, and she passed out.
The female ghost waited for a moment before she was sure Elva was unconscious. She removed her outfit and let out a sigh of relief. Hazel also came out from behind a tree.
“Hazel, Elva is too smart. She is really hard to fool.”
The female ghost was Lucy in disguise. Thanks to her amazing makeup skills, Elva got tricked and fainted from fright. Otherwise, it would be awkward if they were exposed.
“She is a short-sighted person. She wanted to find out my secret. That was why she followed you.”
Hazel only kicked Elva twice because she was afraid of leaving evidence of the footprints. Hazel did not understand why Elva was so resentful of her.
“Yes, Hazel, she really hates you like you have killed her father.”
Lucy took out a bottle of water from her bag, washed her face, and changed her clothes. The two of them had to leave the scene quickly to avoid being caught. As for Elva, she would be left here. Anyway, Elva’s assistant would come to find her soon.
Hazel clapped her hands and looked at Elva on the ground. Hazel smiled and enjoyed the taste of taking revenge.
It was a pity that Hazel could not find a man within such a short time. In comparison, Elva and Wendy knew how to play better than Hazel.
“It’s not easy to have a chance to get revenge. Why don’t we play big?”
Hazel asked for Lucy’s opinion. It was three hours before dawn. Elva would not die so quickly.
“Yes. Let’s do it.”
Lucy agreed without hesitation. She also felt that just scaring Elva was too merciful for her. “Hazel, do you have other moves?”
“Of course.”
“Throw her in!” Hazel pointed to the coffin that had been opened.
When Lucy came to set up the site, she found that a corner of the coffin lid had been opened. She mustered up the courage to open it to check. There were no corpses inside. Some of the burial items had been turned into a mess. Maybe grave robbers had been there before.
That was a crazy idea. Lucy felt that Hazel’s tone, demeanor, and expression were like Baron’s.
It was said that men and women who loved each other would be influenced by each other after being together for a long time. Lucy did not want Hazel to become a workaholic. Hazel should enjoy life!
The two of them put Elva into the coffin and cleaned up the scene. Hazel accidentally saw Elva’s phone.
“Let’s leave now! It’s easy to be noticed if we go out for too long. I have a feeling that the director will come to find us in a while.”
Leonel was hard to convince. If Elva couldn’t persuade him, the director would come to talk to Hazel because he didn’t want to take the blame. Hazel wiped the water off the screen of the phone with a tissue and put it in her bag.
To erase the traces, the two of them went in through the back door and changed their clothes. Hazel began to fiddle with Elva’s phone. It required inputting six digits of the password to access the phone. Elva didn’t set up a fingerprint lock.
Elva’s phone must have a lot of secrets and evidence to contact Wendy. If with luck, Hazel might be able to find traces of the Plum Blossom Organization.
Hazel found the data cable and connected the phone to the computer, trying to unlock it with the program, but to no avail. Elva’s phone seemed to be added with a specific program and positioning system.
Fortunately, Hazel and Elva were both in Gikalle Village. Otherwise, if the positioning system was wrong, it could get Hazel killed.
People liked to use a specific number to create a password. Some lazy people liked to use simple numbers. Some people with poor memory used their birthday or mobile phone number to create a password to prevent themselves from forgetting them.
Elva’s mobile phone only allowed three chances to input the password. If all three times were wrong, the mobile phone program would be locked and restored to its original state. In other words, all the information inside would be erased and could not be restored.
“Hazel, try her birthday or phone number. You have to try it three times.”
Lucy didn’t know what to do. She did not think that Hazel could crack it. However, Lucy thought there might be a glimmer of hope since they had shared the same room at school and knew each other well.
“Why don’t we take it back and ask the company’s programmers to help?” Lucy suggested.
“No, we can’t let her find out that someone has touched her phone.”
Elva was suspicious. They needed to unlock the phone and return it quickly. Not only that, but they also needed to make sure Elva didn’t find out.
