THIRD PERSON
Trinity got the uncomfortable feeling that something was wrong, so she decided to open the door to find out slowly. A few minutes had passed, but Hunter still hadn’t returned to the room. She was nervous, but she knew she needed to find out what was happening since she had no other option.
“Fuck! Where did you go, Hunter?” she whispered before finally opening the room.
She carefully opens the front door while tightly gripping a knife in her right hand. Since there was no movement in the area, she decided to be extra cautious because she could not tell if someone was watching her. Mariel did ask Trinity to leave, but Trinity refused and locked the door before Mariel even had a chance to say anything.
Trinity’s heart is racing remarkably fast, yet she is trying to be careful despite this. Since she only had her knife with her, she wasn’t sure whether or not she would be able to defend herself in the situation that things went wrong. The only thing she is aware of is that she must find Melissa and Hunter as quickly as she can.
“Never in a hundred years did I imagine that the creepy silence would make me anxious. Fuck! Where can I find Hunter?” she whispered silently and couldn’t help but curse so she could calm down.
Finally, Trinity could hear shots being fired in the area, which gave her the confidence that someone was on their way to find her. She grew the size of her steps to get into the closest room. This is the best way she can sneak her way to the right aisle of the mansion without drawing attention to herself from the enemy groups.
“Shit!” she exclaimed when someone grabbed her back to the corner hallway.
She tried to run, but the other person wouldn’t let her leave. Trinity was in a position where she had no choice but to allow herself to drag by because she knew that if she yelled, she would attract more attention. Since the person behind her back and now holding her mouth didn’t hurt her, she decided just to let it.
When they reached the dim part of the corridor, the person let her go, and she yelled, “So who the fuck are you?” while simultaneously trying to lower the pitch of her voice.
She was taken aback when the person behind the mask took it off. Trinity is sure that she made the right decision when she decided not to scream when she realized who had taken her because she could now see her. She is confident that this person has something that she can share with her.
“What exactly is the problem, Crystal? I am sure that you wouldn’t drag me away from this place for no reason. You are going to give me some details, aren’t you?” Trinity asked her.
Trinity notices something on Crystal’s face, and the information causes great concern. Because of how her colleague looked at her, she had a distinct feeling that something was off. She gives a signal to Crystal to talk, which Crystal immediately understands. She then took a deep breath before asking.
“Where is Hunter just at this time? Please understand that I am not joking around, Trinity and that you should cooperate with me. Where can I find him? I have it in the know for a fact that Filimon and Melissa are currently engaged in conversation about something. They are going to deceive Hunter, and then they are going to kill him in the hallway. Where is he at this moment? So where is he? We need to warn him,” Crystal worriedly asked, which made Trinity freeze.
Trinity felt that she was being struck by something even though it was only in her imagination. She had no idea how many minutes had passed, but she was still unable to control herself even after trying. Crystal looked before tapping her on the shoulder to grab Trinity’s attention.
“What’s wrong? Did something bad happen to him?” Crystal asked.
Finally, when Crystal slapped her face, Trinity returned to reality. She then looks worriedly at Crystal l and grabs her hand. She was nervous and didn’t let the chance but ran to find Hunter.
“Fuck! We must hurry. I just let Hunter go with Melissa!” Trinity exclaimed and ran as fast as she could.
“What! You must be kidding me!” Crystal couldn’t believe what she heard, so she yelled back while they continued running.
In the meantime, Hunter grips his gun firmly while he watches Melissa’s every move and tries to understand what she is doing. Even though she had stopped smiling, Hunter couldn’t ignore the feeling that something awful would happen to him. He was by himself, and yelling for help would just draw a lot of attention, which could lead to Filimon’s discovery. He was unable to do so except to ride on Melissa.
“So, you’ve been going through all of this to deceive me? Wow! I have to admit that you have completely fooled me. But it doesn’t even matter now. This room only contains you and me at the moment. You are a female, and there is a possibility that you will not be able to beat me. Plus, I am near the door and I also held a pistol,” Hunter said, trying to buy a little time
Melissa only grinned and slowly moved her way a little bit closer to the spot where Hunter was standing. She did not feel afraid because her men were standing by outside in case something went wrong. Since Hunter would not shoot her while she was inside, she had no cause for concern. It would draw a lot of attention, given that the room is not soundproof.
“Fuck!”
The tension became too much for Hunter, and he gave in and opened the door, but looking back, he realizes that was the worst decision he’s ever made in his whole life. As soon as he opened the door, Filimon’s wild gin greeted him, and by the time he realized what was happening, it was too late to close the door again since Filimon had been holding the wood. Hunter had a curse on his mind, but he made an effort to remain calm using all of the strength he had.
“Now I see. This is why Melissa can fool me because she was recently by your side. But I wasn’t the least bit surprised by it. I am aware that every single one of you is a traitor so even if you kill me now, I still didn’t beg for you. Since I’m the dumbest among us and because we are all demons with long thorns on our heads, I will not stop being the worst,” Hunter exclaimed and grin which made Filimon smile wide.
This outlook on life possessed by Hunter was the single factor that brought Filimon’s blood back to life again. He enjoys seeing Hunter in this mood, and even though he is aware that he is incapable of fighting, Hunter continues to boost himself. Even though he’s up against a large number of them, Hunter is acting as though he’s not bothered by the situation at all.
“I truly admire the perspective on things that you have, Hunter. You are aware that this will be the last time that you take a breath, but rather than pleading with us to have pity on you, you are boosting yourself at this very moment. What a knucklehead. Boys, you know what to do. Drag him to the hall and I will kill him there,” Filimon ordered and grinned at Hunter for the last time before he left with Melissa.
Following their prey’s arrival, Filimon and Melissa proceed into the hall to prepare the tools that will be necessary for the brutal execution of Hunter. Hunter didn’t try to escape when the five guards tried to handcuff him; instead, he merely grinned and let them do it. After that, they made their way to the hall, but they hadn’t even made it halfway when someone bombarded them with white gas, which made them stop.
They became separated, and a man wearing a helmet and a mask over his mouth snatched Hunter and pulled him away from the security guards. Before going to enter the stairs, he covered Hunter’s mouth with a cloth and then went to his car as fast as he could to leave the mansion.
“We are not yet ready to face them. Don’t worry Hunter, I’ve got your back. I will make sure to train you, even more, to get revenge on them. Dormi bene, figliolo. Stiamo tornando a casa,” the man whispered to Hunter before starting the engine.
