Monday night
Bram and I were watching the replay of the Hungarian Grand Prix using his tablet. Then he removed the left side of my robe and kissed the side of my left breast. The tablet slipped and fell on the space between me and him.
“What are you doing?” I asked Bram with a smile. He rested his left hand on my baby bump.
“Do you think the baby is sleeping?” Bram asked me while he kissed the left side of my bump.
“Maybe? I’m not feeling any movements,” I told Bram as I picked up the tablet in between us.
Bram took the tablet from me and placed it on his nightstand, “I hope the baby forgives me from waking him up.”
“What?” I asked, confused.
Bram removed our blankets then he sat upright. He held my waist and he made me straddle him. My eyes widened with what he was trying to do.
“We need to be early tomorrow,” I reminded him.
“I know,” he replied, then he removed my silk robe and camisole. I gasped when he cupped my left breast and sucked it slowly, “I’m so tired today, I want you so bad.”
I blinked at him. My breath was getting uneven because of what he was doing to me. Then he held my buttocks and squeezed it towards his arousal, “Help me with my clothes, Emma.”
Tuesday
I woke up the next day when Bram kissed my jaw. We were both naked under the covers. I ignored him and refused to open my eyes.
“Wake up sleepyhead, it’s 8am,” Bram told me. I felt him slowly get out of bed.
Today was his check-up with his specialist. They would check if Bram could remove his walking boot.
“Can I skip this one?” I asked Bram, then I covered myself with a blanket.
“You have a prenatal check-up too, remember?” Bram reminded me, “It’s the fifth of July today.”
I opened my eyes and saw him standing naked at the bathroom doorway, “Dr. Delgado and I already saw each other last Friday, that’s July 1st. We’ll see each other again on August 5.”
Bram’s lips parted, “Are you not coming with me?”
“No,” I answered him, “I want to sleep more.” Then I closed my eyes.
I was startled when Maria woke me up. I squinted at her while she spoke.
“It’s already ten in the morning, madam,” Maria said to me, “I brought you food.” Then she lifted the tray of food that she was carrying.
I sat up and covered my body up to my breast, “Thank you Maria, you can leave it there.” I pointed at the left side of the bed.
“Sir Connor is also downstairs,” Maria told me as she walked to the left side of the bed.
“Is Bram not back yet?” I asked with a frown.
“No, madam,” Maria answered me, then she placed the tray on the bed.
“Did Connor tell you what he needs?” I asked Maria again.
“He was looking for you, madam,” Maria stood at the bottom of the bed and placed her hands at her back.
“Um, I guess I’ll eat downstairs then?” I told Maria, “Please tell him, I’ll be there in thirty minutes.”
“Certainly, madam,” Maria told me, “I will call one of the maids downstairs to tell Sir Connor. Madam Credence ordered me not leave your side at all times. She sent two maids to assist us.”
“Oh? Maybe because I’m getting bigger?” I asked Maria. I slowly stood up and wrapped my body with the blanket.
“Yes, madam,” Maria responded, “Do you want me to assist you in the bathroom?”
“Yes, please,” I told Maria.
Connor and I were chatting at the dining area while he had a light snack and I was having my brunch. It was probably eleven in the morning now. I was not really sure why he was here so when Maria and the maids were clearing the table I asked him, “So, why are you here?”
Connor smiled and leaned back to his chair, “I just want to ask if you are safe to fly?” Then he crossed his arms to his chest.
My eyebrows met in the middle, “I’m not sure? I guess it depends on how many weeks the baby is?”
“Do you want to ask my Aunt?” Connor suggested.
My jaw dropped, “Why would I want to do that?”
“I just want to fly with you and Bram to our farm? Like a tour from Manila to Batangas?” Connor explained.
“Oh? When?” I asked, surprised.
“Like, now? If that’s okay with you?” Connor stood up.
Maria helped me with my chair, “I think we should wait for Bram?” I told Connor then walked out of the dining area.
“He’s actually waiting for us in Manila,” Connor said to me. He smiled at my shocked face.
I turned to Maria who was standing on my left, “Has Bram contacted you about this, Maria?”
“No, madam,” Maria shook her head. She looked at Connor for a moment then turned back to me, “Do you want me to call Master Bram?”
“That won’t be necessary,” Connor interjected, “Chantal can come with us if you feel unsafe with me. And we can do a convoy to the airport.”
“I looked skeptically at Maria. I was not really sure about this. I called Dr. Delgado about me flying on my second trimester. She said it was safe.
Manila Domestic Road
Chantal and I were inside Ruby as we followed Connor to the hangar. I decided to call my red SUV after a red gemstone. I think it was appropriate, it reminded me of the tiara that Mama Credence gave to me. I had been to this hangar with Bram before. When he invited Connor to Roland’s birthday last March. When we reached the hangar, I did not see Bram’s SUV in the parking space.
I was wearing a short sleeved cotton fitted dress in emerald green. The dress reached half of my lower leg and I paired it with white sneakers. I liked the weather today because it was not that hot. It was cloudy. Chantal carried my handbag while we walked away from Ruby. Connor walked towards us and met us halfway, then we headed to the parked helicopter.
“Where is Bram?” I immediately asked Connor.
“I’m not sure?” Connor answered me, “He must be running late? You can wait at the office if you like? Or I can take you and Chantal on a tour, while we wait for him?”
I really did not know how to answer Connor. My instinct was telling me that something was not right. I got my phone out from my bag and decided to call Bram. I was typing his name when his face appeared on my screen. I tapped the green button.
“Where are you?” Bram asked on the other line. His accent was so thick that I paused for a second to analyze what he just said.
“We are waiting for you in the hangar with Connor,” I told Bram and looked at Chantal’s eyes.
“Stay there, and wait for me.” Bram ordered sternly, then he hung up the call.
Chantal got my pillow from my SUV then we went to the air conditioned office of Connor. He told us to stay here as we all waited for Bram. There was a long brown leather sofa in front of Connor’s office table. Chantal sprayed it with an antibacterial spray. I waited for a moment for it to dry then I sat and hugged my pillow. I leaned back to the sofa and immediately closed my eyes. I was wondering what Bram and Connor were trying to do when I suddenly felt very sleepy.
“Madam?” I heard Chantal call me. Her eyes darted to the window, “It’s Sir Bram.”
I stood up slowly then we both stared at the rectangular window. I gasped because Bram punched Connor in the face. Jonas was quick, he supported Bram so he would not fall to the ground.
“Oh my God! Let’s go, Chantal,” I exclaimed.
Chantal opened the door for me. Then she held my right arm and my waist as we walked towards Bram and Connor. When we reached them, Connor was already massaging his left cheek.
“You don’t deserve Emma,” Connor said with a smirk.
“You are not the judge of that, mate!” Bram told Connor then he glanced at me, “Come on, Emma!”
