Tears flowed down Hazel’s face and wet her hair. A few strands of hair stuck to her cheeks, making Hazel look even more pitiful.
The silent tears represented her silent protest, as well as her desire for life.
“Is it worth it?”
The man put down the syringe in his hand and found a white handkerchief. He wiped away Hazel’s tears. It was just plastic surgery. She wouldn’t die.
“Don’t cry. I feel upset to see your tears.”
He covered his heart with his hand and frowned slightly. He seemed to be very worried about Hazel’s current state!
“Upset about shit, you pervert!”
Hazel cursed secretly but didn’t say it out. This mysterious man was moody enough to change his attitude every second.
“With your outstanding figure and appearance, don’t you think it’s good to be a superstar in the show biz and make countless men fall for you?”
The man blinked, revealing a trace of confusion.
Hazel was also dumbfounded. What did he mean? Wasn’t he going to kill her and make her into a dried corpse?
“You can’t get out alive after finding out their secret unless you are one of them.”
The man smiled mysteriously. Then, there was a long silence.
This place was simply hell on earth. Everywhere was strange and everyone was abnormal.
“If you can, leave here.”
The man sighed, turning his back to her.
Hazel wanted to go all out.
After turning right, she heard a faint sound of water flowing. The maze-like terrain took her half an hour to walk out.
In the surveillance room, the masked woman looked at this scene and sneered.
No one could escape from here. They just needed to release a bait to get the chip for their negotiation.
Today was the day when Baron, the president of the Floyd Group, left the villa. If everything went on well, this silly woman could meet the famous Baron.
The game was getting more and more interesting!
It was raining heavily outside. Hazel walked around and finally came to a dark forest.
She did not have a cell phone or a compass, so she had no way to contact the outside world.
The mountain road was rugged, and the rain fell on the yellow soil, leaving potholes of water. Trees and shallow grass were washed thoroughly by the rain.
After being trapped for a long time, Hazel was starving since she had only eaten some instant noodles.
Hazel thought that this was her most miserable moment.
During the summer when she graduated from university, she didn’t get a good role and wasn’t willing to sleep with the directors. At that time, she could only afford a basement.
After a week of rainstorms in the capital, the basement was flooded. She clearly remembered how the water submerged her bed foot.
She did not complain. Instead, she moved the water out bit by bit with a basin.
This moment was more miserable than that summer.
She thought, ‘Hazel, you have to go out!’
Her stilettos sank into the damp soil, making it even more difficult to move forward.
It was dark. If she couldn’t get out, she didn’t know what danger she would encounter at night.
Hazel gritted her teeth and took off her high heels. She picked up a fallen branch and used it as a walking stick to probe the road and fasten her pace.
She fell and got up countless times, her palms bloody.
The rain hit her wounds and the traces of blood were diluted, revealing her tender flesh.
She had to apply some ointment in time to avoid infections.
A powerful intent supported her. Hazel finally walked out of the deep forest. She saw the suspension bridge ahead.
On the other side of the suspension bridge was Baron’s private manor.
The rain grew heavier, and the sky darkened. Everything in the distance was immersed in the rain.
Just as Hazel was thinking, the suspension bridge was put down.
Not far away, a limited edition Rolls-Royce drove over.
The headlight dazzled Hazel’s eyes. She tried to block the light with her hand and narrowed her eyes to look ahead.
“Save me, save me!”
The car drove across the bridge and headed toward a mountain road not far away.
Hazel resisted the numbness in her body and waved her arms like crazy, hoping the people in the car could see her.
In the car, Baron was resting with his eyes closed. He liked to think on rainy days, which would make his thoughts clear.
Dave Cook, Baron’s exclusive driver, slowed down the speed of the car and looked at the woman in front of the car who was drenched by the rain. He was dumbfounded.
Baron was rich. Even though rumors said that he was ugly, impotent, and had eccentricities, many women wanted to be with him.
Of course, those women who had ulterior motives often used all sorts of methods.
Dave thought he had seen the world.
But he had no idea what the woman in front of him was doing.
Did she think that she could attract Baron’s attention as long as she showed up in this strange way?
What a dangerous try!
Dave giggled, hesitating whether he should disturb Baron.
In private, Baron was a relatively easy-going person as long as his taboo was not violated.
Baron hated to be disturbed when he was thinking. That was his taboo.
Dave was in a dilemma. The road ahead was too narrow, and the woman blocked the way that the car had to take. It was too much of a test for his driving skills.
“Please get me a lift. Just bring me to wherever I can take a taxi.”
Hazel had no choice. Dealing with rich people was her last option. She was extremely wet and covered in dirt. She knew it was inappropriate to sit in and mess up their luxury car, but she had no choice.
She had to go out and call the police.
Baron rubbed his temples with his eyes closed. He had invested in many films recently, making some small companies jittery.
Last night, he received a threatening email.
The email said that there was a time bomb installed in his car which could detonate at any time, hoping that he would think twice.
Baron casually glanced at it, then closed it and deleted it. He murmured, “Boring!”
No one knew that as the leader of the Floyd Group, Baron had almost mastered all the skills to protect his safety. A small bomb wouldn’t be a threat to him at all.
The car began to slow down, and Baron opened his eyes vigilantly.
Seeing that they seemed to be willing to help, Hazel quickly took a few steps forward and wiped away the rain on the car window, slapping the car door hard.
“Where did the madwoman come from?”
Baron frowned slightly. A sharp and domineering light flashed in his clear black eyes. He glanced at Hazel and said to Dave coldly, “Don’t bother about it. It’s time to test your skills.”
Dave clicked his tongue and nodded. He had expected this.
Baron was mean and always retorted people. He was also a clean freak.
The way this beauty seduced Baron was creative, but unfortunately, she ignored the most obvious point.
This woman must be so determined to wait for the first encounter in such heavy rain!
