Olivia
When I opened my eyes, I saw Javier next to me. Sleeping with his bigger arms around my body. He was wearing his white shirts from last night. I looked down at my attire and found myself wearing my favorite peach pink Desmond & Dempsey pajamas.
He spent his night with me. I begged him not to go and Cindy was kind enough to let him. She knew something was wrong and the only person who could handle me now…was Javier. My dad won’t take it nicely when he found out Javier was here, in my room, but he won’t say much until Cindy blurted out what happened last night.
So many had happened last night.
Blake’s open challenge to Javier.
We were talking in his office which ended up were not just talking, but also had sex.
I ran away because I was afraid to hurt Javier and Blake as well. I was in a mess and my tears just dropped again. I was so in a complete mess. “Hey.” I felt his finger wiped the tears away from me. I looked up and found Javier already woke up. “You were sleeping nicely last night but sometimes you were murmuring Mr. Morgan’s name while crying.” Did I?
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, baby.” He leaned forward and kissed my temple. “It’s not your fault.” He rubbed my head gently. It was a relaxing move for him. Soothing. And I felt…he deserved more.
“He used to be my stepfather,” I told him and his movement stopped. No wonder. He must be shocked. “After my mother died, my relatives didn’t want to take me and I was about to send to the orphanage until Blake came and took me as his daughter. It was part of his promise to my mother. We had good times together until Blake one-sidedly decided to reversed his adoption on me and gave me away to my father who he hated before. I was…sad but he said he doesn’t me anymore and it’s better for me gone from his perfect life.” Yes, it was still hurt if I remembered it again.
I raised my head back up to him again but his expression remained the same. “He was the one who hurt me too much.”
“And you love him,” he added. That shocked me as my eyes opened wide because of that. He smiled, sadly. “You love him, Olivia.” That was it. I couldn’t hide it anymore. I loved him although I tried my hard and my best to forget about him, but I couldn’t.
“Javier, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry,” I sobbed hard.
“It’s okay.” He pulled me closer to him. I hugged him tight and cried on his chest.
“We can’t be together because we’re family. I don’t want to hurt Blake.”
“He probably doesn’t want to hurt you as well, Liv. I think…he’s in love with you too.”
“You must be thinking that I’m using you.”
“I don’t think that way. Sometimes the only medicine for a broken heart is a new love and I’m hoping I could be your medicine.” I wanted him to but my heart was saying otherwise and it pissed me off. Javier kissed my head as he pressed his lips quite long on it. “I will protect you, Olivia. I’m sorry for attacking your uncle like that last night. I…couldn’t see straight when I saw your dress was ripped.”
“Nothing happened, Javier. Blake tried but I ran away.” This was so hurting me. I lied to him again.
“I’m not a good person at all, Olivia. You saw it last night. I wanted to kill him right there for almost touching you. It doesn’t matter if he’s your uncle. No one touches my belonging and for now…you are mine.” I raised my head and looked at his deep brown eyes.
“I wanted to be yours.”
“I would like that too. But not now, not after you were attacked by your uncle. And not when your parents are under the roof as well.” I chuckled over his joke. He landed another kiss on my forehead and I moved closer to him, feeling his warm temperature. So different when he was about to murder Blake.
Javier looked…different last night. Like he was someone else. I wonder why?
“Olivia? There’s something I need to tell you.”
“What is it?” Javier paused and even though I couldn’t see his face, I could feel his heart. It was beating fast like he was preparing himself.
“Actually, I—”he couldn’t finish his words until someone was knocking on the door. I slightly looked back to the door thinking it could be Cindy or my dad but nothing happened. No one was talking outside. “Stay here.” Javier let me go and walked down the bed, heading to the door. He opened it and that was it.
I could see everything. I could see another world war that was about to happen at my house.

Blake
I couldn’t fucking sleep last night. I was worried about Olivia.
Last night was the best night of mine. I just claimed her. It was perfect. That was what I wanted to ever since our night in Vegas. It pissed me off because our moment was so fucking perfect and she ruined it because she was scared to hurt Javier. After all, he was currently her bastard boyfriend.
I had to make things right. Everything had to be in place. And Olivia’s place…was with me.
I grabbed my phone and looked over her number. I dialed it as soon as I found her number. It was sent straight to a voicemail. “Damn it!” I dialed Cindy’s number. I had to make sure she was at home. Not with him. God, I didn’t want to think Olivia was spending the night with him. I would kill him if he touched her.
I put the phone on my ear as Cindy picked it up on the third ring. I was about to ask her until she cut me first. “What the fuck have you done to my daughter?” Oh, nice. She saw it.
“Is she home?”
“I’m asking you a question, big brother. What the fuck have you done?”
“Do you have some manners, Cindy? I’m still your brother.”
“Oh, sorry. You never bothered so I thought I could do the same thing,” she sarcastically said. Well, that was true though. But this was not the case and was not the time to discuss our manner.
“Is Olivia home, Cindy? And can you please just answer my question?”
She smirked through the phone. “What are you going to do if I chose to not answer your damn question?” Okay, this was so not good. She was ticking me off. She was doing it on purpose. “And you better have some good fucking reason for making her coming home last night, crying, even have to ask Javier to stay over because she doesn’t want to be left alone.”
“What?” Please, tell me. She did not just say that. “Javier is there?”
“Yes.” I ended the call as soon as I got the answer. And she didn’t even bother to not answer my question.
“Fucking bastard!” I stood up from the couch and immediately grabbed my car key and headed out to my Aston. Immediately turned on the engine and headed to Olivia’s house. I fucking hope they didn’t do anything inside her bedroom. For my sanity, I wished they didn’t or I might spill blood in their lovely house.
I reached her house in no time because I was driving like a maniac. I jumped out and walked fast to the door and banging it hard. I did it two times until my sister opened it and looked practically…mad at me. The wrath.
“Go home, Blake.”
“Cindy, please.”
“If you want to come inside, you better answer my question.”
“What question?”
She moved forward but still prohibiting me to get inside. “What have you done to my daughter?”
“Cindy, I wanted to make things right so I have to see her.”
“I’m her mother, Blake. And I have the right to know what’s going on before I allow you to see her.”
“I can’t explain it now.” I was about to walk past her but she moved faster and stopped me. I was about to reach my limit. And I was not going to let it out on my sister. “Move aside, Cindy.”
“What are you going to do? Manhandle me?” she challenged.
“If I have to.” We were glaring at each other until I could hear another familiar sound behind her.
“What is going on here?” Taylor appeared behind her as Cindy slightly looked back to her husband as I used this chance to walk past her, heading upstairs, to Olivia’s bedroom.
“Blake, no!” I took two steps at a time so I could reach her bedroom faster. I could hear my sister was following me and I reached her room. I wanted to open it so I could catch what they were doing behind the door but so kind of me, I knocked it. “Blake.” Cindy appeared beside me but I ignored her until the door was opened, with Javier standing inside.
My blood boiled having him right on my face. We were glaring at each other. The intense situation we had last night returned. He was so ready to kill me. I could feel it through his hand last night. I knew him and right now…he just showed me that he still wanted to kill me. And so was I.
“Move, Javier.” He didn’t budge at all. His eyes never left me. Although our height was only mere inches apart, I was not scared of him.
“If you think Olivia wants to see you now, you are so wrong, Mr. Morgan. She had countless nightmares last night and cried a lot because of what you have done to her,” he explained as I took a good look at his clothes. He was still wearing clothes, a white shirt. And pants as well. I glanced behind him and found Olivia was fully clothes as well with her back directed to me.
As Javier realized I was looking at Olivia, he prevented me by moving his body so I couldn’t see her anymore. Bastard. I didn’t think I need to remind him that he was still working with him. That would be the cowardly thing I would do.
“Move aside, Javier. I want to talk properly to my niece.”
He smirked. “That’s it, Mr. Morgan. Olivia is your niece and you can’t do anything with it. You can’t touch her. You can’t have her. Olivia doesn’t want to talk to you and she’s mine. So, please…” he paused and moved closer to me. “Fuck off.” And he slammed the door right on my damn face.
What the fuck?!
