“Madam, this is Mr. Langdon’s pajamas.”
“Ok, send it in.” Marina nodded. “Do you want me to send it in?” she asked because she saw the maid was embarrassed.
The maid nodded and dared not to look up. Marina’s temper was better than that of Ryder. If she did something wrong, Marina just scolded her, but Ryder would fire her.
Marina bit her lips and was in a dilemma. But she took the pajamas because she saw the maid in a panic.
“Madam, I prepare the dinner right away.”
Marina nodded. Marina saw the maid walk away quickly. She pouted and picked up Ryder’s pajamas to knock on the bathroom door.
“Come in.”
Ryder in a low and hoarse voice, which made Marina tremble. It was so attractive.
Because she knew that the bathroom and sink were separated by a glass door, Marina walked in straightly and put the pajamas on the hanger. She wanted to go out at once.
“Marina.”

“Give me the towel.”

Marina was stunned by Ryder’s nonnegotiable refusal. Was her vow so worthless?
“I’ll sleep alone…”
“She took my place.”
Marina was a little confused.

“Nicole, mom sleeps with dad.” Ryder squatted in front of Nicole and sincerely explained to her.

“Let’s go to the small room next door. I’ll tell you a story.”
Without waiting for Ryder to say anything, she quickly rushed into the room with Nicole. She slammed the door and even locked it, which made her feel relieved.
“Nicole, do you want to listen to a story?”
Nicole nodded obediently in Marina’s arms. After sleeping in the bed, she patted aside and then snuggled into Marina’s arms.
