Allyce entered the lift and leaned against the wall, stretching to rub her temples.
She allowed herself to calm down and think about what Delfina had said earlier.
Whether Delfina was with Gabrio or not, he had doubts in his mind, but he knew it had nothing to do with her.
If the two were really together, of course he would still give his blessing, and in any case, he would wish Gabrio well, he did not want to see the day when Gabrio and Severo would clash again.
What matters to her is something else Delfina said.
Delfina said she had secretly warned Delfina when Gabrio had been captured by Severo earlier.
She had done nothing of the sort, and at the time, as much as she wanted Severo to free Gabrio, she hadn’t thought to warn Delfina and the others.
After all, alerting Delfina would undoubtedly be alerting Adam as well.
In doing so, he was undoubtedly betraying Severo.
Therefore, she would not go for such a thing.
However, in light of Severo’s earlier comments and what Delfina had just said, he assumed that someone on his behalf must have warned Delfina.
This would be the reason why Adam and the others appeared out of nowhere that day.
Qin Mu is wounded and in hospital, is taken by Izar, is saved by Gabrio, only to be met by Severo in front of the hotel.
He could not hear the explanation and misunderstood it, and when he returned, his situation worsened, and he subsequently kidnapped Gabrio ….
Next, someone on his behalf told Delfina that Adam had found Gabrio, and once again Severo misunderstood.
At the time, however, Severo was having a stroke and trusted only himself, and was understandably too wary to trust her.
Moreover, in Severo’s mind, she seems to have always thought that her relationship with Gabrio was less than straightforward, and this, in turn, has made Severo trust her a little less.
All this indicates that there is someone behind the scenes who wants to deepen the rift between her and Severo, preferably to the point of being hot.
What is this person’s objective?
Breaking … them?
It occurred to Allyce that when she had gone to see Izar, he had said to her, “You seem to be doing well these days”.
It sounded as if he thought Allyce must be having a bad time doing it.
Could it be that Izar did all this?
But what was the point of her doing all this, she was still in love with Severo?
Allyce shook her head, it didn’t have to be like this.
Izar hated her and Severo so much, perhaps simply because he wanted them to have a bad time.
“Ding…”
The sound of the lift door opened and Allyce turned her attention back to it.
It turns out that he has arrived on the floor where Severo’s office is located.
He took a deep breath and pulled himself together before going to Severo’s office looking normal.
When she entered, Severo was engrossed in his work, and when he heard the door open, he looked very cautiously, his expression relieved and then frowned slightly when he saw that it was Allyce.
“What is it?” Allyce noticed the subtle expression on his face and, reaching over to place the items in his hands on his desk, took the floor and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“You’re twenty minutes later than usual today.” Severo held up his wristwatch and handed it to him, gesturing for him to look at the time.
Allyce was slightly surprised.
I had never been much of a time-keeper, so I didn’t really know that I was arriving at an even hour.
“Yes?” With a faint smile, Allyce bent down and took out the contents of the box of thermoses one by one and placed them on the desk.
Allyce took the initiative and put a bowl of soup in front of him: “Have the soup first”.
Severo has a weak stomach and has developed a habit of making soup.
Without saying a word, Severo took it and took a sip, finding it not too hot.
I knew Allyce didn’t usually come to pinch the time on purpose, but people have habits, and even though she didn’t pinch the time, she made it a habit.
When you get home, how long it takes to cook, and then how long it takes to get ready before you go back to the office, all these things become so much of a habit.
Severo also noticed the time she came to the office to bring him dinner, a time that was no more than five minutes apart at the most each day.
Today, with his arrival twenty minutes late and his hot mouth not as hot as usual, he was sure he must have encountered something or someone before arriving at his office.
He looked up at Allyce and found her face calm, with no hint of anything wrong.
He frowned slightly and didn’t say much.
…
Weekend.
When Severo goes to the office to work late, Allyce wants to go too, but Severo refuses.
“Nothing for Dita to go shopping for”.
He dropped this line, leaving Allyce at home too by the way.
Allyce bristled: “If I go shopping, there will be no one to bring you lunch at lunchtime, and no one to bring you dinner.
Severo had reached the door and heard the sound of voices looking back at him: “If I really want home-cooked food, a maid will bring it to me”.
“But that’s not what I did.” Allyce rubbed against him, trying to fight for herself once more.
Severo chuckled and Allyce blushed slightly embarrassed.
He kissed Allyce on the forehead and said with a smile, “What can I do? I’ll have to eat the maid’s food for free.
His voice was pleasant, his smile was deeper and he seemed to be in a good mood.
Allyce caught the contagion and continued laughing: “OK.
Severo stroked the top of his hair again and, after turning around to go outside, the smile on his face disappeared and was replaced by seriousness and condensation.
Allyce watched him walk away before re-entering the room.
Severo invited her to go shopping? She wasn’t that interested.
She would be interested in meeting Izar again.
Although some of the details are difficult to correlate, in all likelihood Izar was responsible for these earlier events.
Did she really think that she and Severo were dumb people who only swallowed their bitterness in their vomit?
Severo is too busy these days to tell you.
Allyce thought for a while and a plan formed in her head.
It would be too easy to fix an over-the-top actress like Izar alone.
A smile curved his lips as he went back to his room to pick up his phone and call Dita.
…
“Madam, why do you suddenly want to go to a dinner with me?”
Dita turned her head to look at Allyce as she drove.
His position in LK is not low, so naturally he has to entertain on a regular basis.
It’s just that he’s going to socialise, which is no big deal.
But then, suddenly, his wife calls and wants to go to dinner with her.
When the boss finds out, will she have a chance to live?
