Allyce looked at the smile on Gabrio’s face, but somehow felt a surge of sadness.
He opened his mouth and still couldn’t think of anything to say.
“Allyce, I’m not as clean as you think I am, I’m actually despicable and underhanded, you’re disappointed, aren’t you? The smile on Gabrio’s face finally narrowed slightly, and his kind expression showed a hint of sadness.
Allyce tilted her head to one side, not looking at him.
He organised his words before saying: “But, at first you were coerced by them to help them”.
Gabrio’s expression was slightly stagnant, and only after a long moment did he lower his voice: “Don’t you think I’m bad even now?
“No one can go their whole life without going the wrong way and doing the wrong thing, what does it matter if you go wrong for a while, you’re still young, you can change, just get back on the right path, it’s OK.
Allyce’s hand in her lap clenched into a fist, she couldn’t do anything to hate Gabrio, even if he did bad things, she couldn’t hate him, she just hoped he would get back on track.
Gabrio muttered, “Is he all right?”
“Yes, it’s OK to have done something wrong, you can still correct it, just change it”. No one can change a mistake, as long as they truly regret it, it’s no big deal.
Gabrio looked at her and stopped talking.
How could it not be relevant?
He knew that for the rest of his life, there could be no place for him in Allyce’s heart.
Was this not a possibility when it was decided that Amado would give Severo the “K1LU73” virus?
He had taken it for granted, but when the real day came, he still found it a little hard to bear.
He raised his hand and covered his chest.
A vague pain.
Severo’s shot had almost touched the edge of his heart and he was so close to never seeing Allyce again.
Allyce saw his pale face covering his chest and a slight tinge of concern crept into his tone, “What’s wrong …? You’re hurt …”
“It’s almost better, and as long as you don’t kill yourself, you can’t die, and you can go back and tell Severo that his aim is, well, a bit inaccurate.”
Gabrio smiled again, only the smile was a little stiff.
Allyce pursed her lips and her white face sagged slightly.
It was then that Gabrio said with a straight face, “Allyce, for the last time, I’d like to advise you a couple more times as your Gabrio, will you listen?”
Hearing the will in his tone, Allyce felt a little disheartened.
She pursed her lips: “Go ahead”.
At Allyce’s reply, a glint of surprise flashed under Gabrio’s eyes, followed by a serious one: “You’d better leave Severo if you can. ”
Allyce sniffed and raised her head, her face changed slightly, “You …”
Gabrio seemed to anticipate Allyce’s reaction when he gave her a slightly calmer look: “Listen to me, okay?
Allyce had to nod and listen to him continue.
“You are dangerous around him, the last time he caught me going over there, my intuition as a doctor, I noticed that he was a bit out of it, the ‘K1LU73’ was developed by me, I know its side effects well, it damages the human nervous system a bit, but it is not that serious, and, with Victorino’s power he is able to cure it. Besides, Grizzi and him must have some kind of close connection, only this connection is not clear to me yet, because, I haven’t met Grizzi’s boss until now. ”
The smile on his face had faded and his serious look was superimposed on the way he used to admonish Allyce to take her medication, which made Allyce turn away.
And when he finished, he covered his chest a little more, as if saying such a long paragraph made him feel tired.
Allyce couldn’t digest the meaning of Gabrio’s words for a moment, and there was much more silence in the room before Allyce found her voice: “Severo is much better now, he’s back to his old self.
Gabrio sniffed, with a hint of surprise on his face, but said nothing.
“You say Grizzi is in contact with him?” He was not at all convinced by Gabrio’s assertion.
What relationship Severo may have with Grizzi.
Allyce could think of no other connection between Severo and Grizzi than the one Grizzi had tried to establish in order to take over the LK Group.
“Don’t you believe me?” asked Gabrio.
Allyce says neither yes nor no.
But Gabrio knew that Allyce did not believe his words.
“Even if we never meet again, and I never get to be your Gabrio, I wish you nothing but the best, I hope you’re safe and sound, and anyway, it’s dangerous for you to stay near Severo, I don’t mean anything else, and I’m not trying to pick on you.”
Gabrio, slightly out of breath after all this, picked up a bottle of mineral water and unscrewed it to take a sip, but his face was still a little pale.
“Is there no one to look after you? Is this what you’re drinking?” Not even a cup of hot water?
Gabrio is still recovering and should drink warm water anyway. Patients should avoid the cold, and Gabrio is a doctor, he wouldn’t even know.
“I’m fine.” Gabrio raised his eyes and his voice was soft, “Allyce, I’ve said all I have to say, come back, stay out too long and Severo will get suspicious.”
He didn’t really mean to provoke her and Severo when he said those things.
How could he do anything else to upset Allyce when his relationship with her had gone so far.
Gabrio had already given the order to leave, and she hadn’t wanted to stay long, so she stood up, her eyes falling on his pale face, her words of concern stopping hard at the edge of her mouth.
“Although you put Severo’s life in danger before, you ended up saving him, and then Severo captured you and tried to kill you, and now you are at peace, yes ….”
These last words seemed a little difficult to say, and Allyce squeezed her hand as if to cheer herself up.
“However, if you still persist in refusing to leave Grizzi, then I will not interfere in future matters between you and Severo. ”
The meaning was clear: in the future, if he insisted on staying in Grizzi and confronting Severo, there was nothing she could do if he and Severo confronted each other again and what Severo wanted to do to her.
He did not want to put the two people he cared about on opposite sides of the fence.
However, things have already happened and it is not something you can undo by your own efforts.
Today, all it can do is stand aside.
But he knew in his heart that, despite what he said, if the day came, he would not let them kill each other.
