Dita didn’t bother to talk to Xabat any further and just hung up.
On the other end, Xabat put the phone away and rubbed his bitter face to look refreshed before heading to his office.
“Get lost, go to the treasury and pay your bills, don’t come tomorrow!”
As soon as he entered, he heard Severo say this.
Xabat shuddered and hastened to stand by his side respectfully, not daring to make a sound.
A number of people in the office, all of them senior staff of some weight at LK headquarters, were dismissed with the stroke of a pen by Severo?
The management did not expect Severo to fire them for a minor incident.
It is important to know that they are all former employees of the LK Group, the youngest of whom has been with the business for seven or eight years. The LK Group is a leading company in the financial sector and has the lifeline of the J economy.
They are people who, even if they are not in top management positions, always feel superior when they go out.
If you get fired like that, not only do you lose a job and lose prestige, but you attract suspicion and it is not so easy to find another job.
While their capabilities are outstanding and they receive preferential treatment from other companies when they go out, they are nowhere near as good as the LK Group.
Seeing that some of them still had something to say, Xabat gave them a quick wink and told them to leave.
Although the LK Group is never short of people applying for jobs, they are old employees and Xabat knows them all, so they cannot be fired for such a trivial matter.
Those who can work under Severo’s gaze are not far behind, and after a few glances at each other, a few of them came out.
Xabat feared he would pursue the matter, so he spoke to distract him.
And naturally, the best thing to distract Severo’s attention is something to do with Allyce.
“Boss, Dita just called me and said the lady is downstairs for dinner”.
At these words, Severo’s face changed, but soon cooled down again: “What do you care if she comes down to dinner? What do you want to tell me about such a trivial matter?
Despite his words, Severo had already grabbed his jacket, which was hanging on the back of his chair, and was striding out.
Xabat asked, unknowingly, “Where are you going, boss?”
However, Severo did not even look at him and went straight out into the street.
His stride was too big and he was out of the office before Xabat could react.
Xabat had to continue.
He followed Severo to the car park before Xabat consciously opened the door for him, sat in the driver’s seat and drove off in the direction of the villa.
Who just said it was a minor issue?
However, Xabat only dares to think these things in his mind, but does not dare to say them out loud.

Dita did not finally find Allyce’s mobile phone either.
Delfina had called her before but she couldn’t remember the number, she just wanted to find the phone with the call log so she could find Delfina.
Only the phone could not be found and she was left with no options.
Come to think of it, how could Severo have left her a mobile phone now that he had locked her in.
No one knew better than she did how careful and attentive he was.
He didn’t have much of an appetite either, so he ate casually and went upstairs.
Dita looked up at her, wanting to say something, but in this situation, anything she said would seem superfluous.
Allyce could not have listened either.
It was at that moment that the sound of a car engine came from outside.
Dita was slightly stunned, the bosses were back?
He turned his head upwards again and saw that Allyce’s figure had disappeared up the stairs and had obviously entered the room.
I don’t know if he heard the car or not.
As soon as Severo entered, he saw only Dita standing alone in the hallway, and his face instantly went cold: “Where is she?
“The lady has just gone to her room.” Dita frowned imperceptibly, her voice no different from normal.
Severo sniffed and gave Dita a non-depressed look.
Dita swallowed silently, was it wrong for her to say that the woman had gone to her room?
After a couple of seconds, Severo turned towards the stairs and, after two steps, turned his head again and asked Dita: “Did he just eat?
Dita nodded: “Eaten”.
He just didn’t eat much.
Hearing Dita’s tone, which had very little substance, Severo guessed what was going on.
Earlier, she had dragged Allyce to her room and they had missed lunch because she was in bed, and now it was almost dinnertime and she wasn’t hungry?
Dita couldn’t help shaking her head, if he was worried about how much food his wife ate, why did he have to keep her in the villa and not let her out?
Although women don’t usually like to go out, being locked up like this is like having a small pet …
It’s a feeling that makes Dita want to freak out just thinking about it.
Inside the room, Allyce takes a seat at the room’s landline telephone. She picks up the receiver and is pressing the keys when the door suddenly opens.
There was a slight pause in the movement of his hand, then he returned to the phone.
Who but Severo would dare to push open the door to his room without saying a word?
She didn’t look back at him either and went straight to the phone.
But just because he ignores Severo doesn’t mean he won’t go after her.
He stepped forward and snatched the receiver from Allyce’s hand and tossed it aside, his voice low and cold, without a hint of warmth: “Who’s calling?
Without saying anything, Allyce put the receiver closer and continued dialling.
Severo’s face changed instantly as he ripped out the landline connection and shouted: “I asked who you were calling!
Allyce pursed her lips tightly, so tightly that her lips turned a little white.
He looked at Severo with a slight look of annoyance in his eyes, his voice unconcerned: “Who cares who I call?
“Hey, don’t think I don’t know who you’re calling! Are you trying to call Gabrio?” mocked Severo.
Suddenly, he pulled out his own phone and slammed it down on Allyce: “Go ahead, I’m going to see if you can still communicate with a dead man”.
Allyce, irritated by his words, opened her eyes wide, with a streak of blood in them, and her voice became dry, “Is … really dead?”
“Sure, I started using a gun when I was fourteen and you still doubt my marksmanship?”
Severo’s face was as grim as a dark shura, and a small smile leaked from his lips.
Allyce clasped her hands and looked at him without saying anything.
When Severus saw that she did not speak again, but merely bit her lip as if mistreating herself, he took a sharp step forward and looked at her, “No more words? Do you accept the fact that Gabrio is dead? Heh!”
The two men stood close together, only two centimetres apart, their breaths intertwined.
So close, but not so intimate.
It is as if an invisible but incredibly strong barrier separates them, alienating them in an intimidating way.
