After seeing Victorino off, Allyce stayed in the courtyard for a while before returning to the dormitory.
When he reached the bedroom, he found the bed empty.
Allyce’s face changed, “Severo!”
There was no answer and there was no one in the bathroom.
Severo had been lying in bed when she and Victorino had gone out, and in the space of a few moments, he was gone, where could he have gone?
She instantly became nervous.
Turning around, he hurried outside, only to open the door and find someone standing in the doorway.
Looking up, it was Severo.
“Where have you been?”
It was the question he wanted to ask, but Severo beat him to it.
Allyce looked at his expressionless face and froze for a moment before saying, “I’m going to say goodbye to Dr. Griego. ”
“What did he say?” Severo raised his eyebrows slightly, his expression indifferent.
Allyce pursed her lips: “He didn’t say anything.
At the words, he noticed Severo’s eyes narrow slightly.
This is a sign of his anger.
“I just asked a question, about your physical condition.” Allyce explained gently.
When she finished, she looked up and saw Severo staring at her, his dark eyes of inscrutable depth.
Allyce’s heart clenched at the thought of what Victorino had said and she asked: “Where have you been?
“I went to see a friend. Severo spoke, and would not enter the room.
A flash of confusion crossed Allyce’s face, she had a vague sense that Severo’s tone was not quite right, and she spoke, “A friend?
Where would he go to meet his friends at home?
Perhaps it was because Victorino’s words earlier had had a psychological effect on her, and she felt that there was a strangeness in everything Severo did and said now.
A dark light shone in Severo’s eyes: “You know them too, I’ll take you to meet them”.
“Who?”
Severo responded by taking her hand at once and walking down the stairs.
Allyce, thinking that he had just been discharged from hospital and could not fight, had to follow him obediently.
His grip on the palm of his hand was still broad and strong, not at all like that of someone who has just been discharged from hospital.
But Allyce couldn’t help worrying: “Slow down.
Severo paid no attention to her and continued to take her to the basement.
At the entrance to the basement, Severo finally stopped in his tracks.
Allyce’s heart skipped a beat when she looked up and saw the cellar door: “What are you … doing bringing me here?
Severo hooked his lips into a high, inscrutable smile and reached out his hand, just to push open the cellar door.
There were no lights on and no light in the basement, and Allyce squinted a little uncomfortably.
The next moment, there was a loud “pop” and the basement lit up.
The furnishings in the basement are simple, a few chairs and stools and a few miscellaneous objects.
In front of the pile of miscellaneous objects, a tall figure was being tied to a chair.
The closer Allyce got, the more familiar the figure became.
The man tied to the chair looked up at that moment.
Allyce couldn’t help but exclaim at the sight of the man’s face: “Rabbit!
“Hey!”
Severo’s grimace came from one side.
Allyce turned her head to Severo in disbelief and reached out to point at Gabrio, “What did you tie him up for!
Severus, however, ignored her and addressed Gabrio directly, looking down at him from above, his voice as calm as water: “You still don’t want to talk today?”
Allyce noticed Gabrio’s pale, haggard face and involuntarily stepped forward, grabbing Severo’s arm: “What did you tell him to say?
Severo ignored Allyce, still turning to Gabrio and asking, “Who is Niguel?
“How can he know who Niguel is, it’s just inexplicable!” Allyce could see that Gabrio should not have been taken in today, it had been at least a few days.
Severo had a wry smile on his face, “Somehow?”
“And isn’t the sentimental brother from your childhood inexplicable? Ask him if he has anything to do with Grizzi and see if he dares to deny it”.
Severo stood close to Allyce, the same face she knew so well, but with a sombre expression, a soft voice and a biting coldness in his tone.
Allyce shuddered.
“Don’t talk nonsense!” All Allyce could think of was to retort to the fact that she had said Gabrio was her sentimental brother.
“Oh? Isn’t he a loving brother?” Severo laughed.
He was handsome and his smile was good, but it didn’t reach his eyes.
“Let’s go to our room.” Allyce glanced at Gabrio before pulling Severo out.
I didn’t want to argue with Severo here, in front of Gabrio.
“What, are you afraid to hear him say if he and Grizzi are related?” Severo leaned closer and searched his face.
His palms are a little rough, but warm.
Allyce had a momentary trance.
But the next moment, Severo turned violently and kicked Gabrio, who was tied to the chair.
“Cough …” Gabrio collapsed to the ground, coughing uncontrollably.
“What are you doing!” Allyce’s eyes widened and she rushed to Gabrio’s aid.
But he was tied to the chair and could not get up, and Allyce struggled to lift him.
After helping Gabrio up, he went to untie the ropes around him.
However, Gabrio called her at the time: “Allyce”.
There was a slight pause in Allyce’s hand and then she said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know I had you here”.
I could feel the temperature drop a few degrees throughout the basement.
He couldn’t understand how Severo felt, but he couldn’t leave Gabrio alone, so he continued to untie the rope against the powerful aura Severo exuded.
Gabrio stared at Allyce, his voice a little weak: “Everything he said was true.
It took Allyce several seconds to realise that what Gabrio meant was that what Severo had said earlier was true.
Allyce’s hand movements stopped.
He looked up at Gabrio, the surprise in his eyes could not be hidden, he withdrew his hands and squeezed them tightly, it took him several attempts before he could utter his voice, “What did you say …?”
Gabrio’s already haggard face grew whiter and his eyes dimmed: “I am the leader of the ‘K7’ team”.
Her little voice sounded like thunder in Allyce’s ears.
He took a few steps back, his eyes instantly reddening and tears falling silently. “So, did you ask for the ‘K1LU73’ virus that Amado gave Severo when he was in the mountains?”.
“… is.”
The man I trusted the most nearly killed the person I loved the most.
“You …” Allyce swallowed hard, the words she wanted to say choked in her throat.
