The suspicion was so great that Allyce did not look at all well when he returned to Severo’s side.
Severo and Tajo’s chess game was not yet over.
Sensing someone sitting next to him, Severo turned his head and shot a slight glance at Allyce before returning to his game.
He turned his head and then grabbed Allyce’s hand with his free one.
It was a very casual and warm gesture.
Allyce’s hand was a little cold because she had just returned from being outside and had been startled by Adam’s sudden appearance.
Severo frowned slightly and looked back at Allyce.
Allyce was comforted by Severo’s warm hand and when she saw him look back at her, she smiled, but there was some fear in that smile.
Severo’s brow furrowed.
He no longer had the patience to deal with Tajo, and with a cold face and stern eyes he began to deal with him in earnest.
But even so, it was another half hour before the game was over.
The result was that Severo won.
Tajo’s face did not look very good.
Severo straightened up and looked at him with an unfriendly face: “It’s late, grandfather, get some rest, we’re going home now”.
Tajo bowed his head slightly and took a sip of his tea on his side before saying, “Saul, help me show them out.

Tajo got up as if he was tired and didn’t want to look at Severo any more, and left.
Allyce looked at Tajo’s back and then turned to Severo.
“Let’s go.” Severo grabbed her hand as if it was nothing and got up and headed outside.
It wasn’t until they were back in the car that Severo asked him: “What happened?
“I met Adam outside a while ago.” As if she was worried that she hadn’t made it clear enough, she added in a general explanation: “It was inside the castle, I was in the garden when I heard his voice, it was badly lit but I was sure it was him”.

After receiving Allyce’s reply, he said nothing for a long moment, his eyes slightly averted and not knowing what he was thinking.
Severo said nothing more until they were back in the house.
When they entered the house, he said to her, “Go back and rest, I will go and look for Xabat, I will be back soon”.
With that he went to look for Xabat.
Allyce stayed where she was for a few moments before heading to her room.
He washed up and lay down on the bed before Severo returned.
As she lay in bed, she couldn’t help but start thinking about what had happened earlier.
Adam, Solares Castle, Tagus, Severo…
Solares Castle was heavily guarded and not a place that could be entered so easily.
Not only did Adam go in, but he took his men with him and mentioned Niguel.
This shows that his visit to Solares Castle must have been related to Niguel.
Was someone from the Solares family their target, or were they trying to make some kind of deal with the Solares family, or did they have another agenda.
But these were only his guesses.
At that moment, the door to the room opened from outside and Severo entered.
“You’re back.” Allyce withdrew her thoughts, a hint of anticipation in her eyes. Waiting for him to tell her what it was about.
He had gone to see Xabat as soon as he got back, surely there was something he had ordered Xabat to do, which meant he had thought of something.
Severo looked at Allyce, his eyes resting on her face which looked extra smooth in the light, and then smiled as he approached her, “is it good to know you’re clean and waiting for me in bed?”

Allyce’s two well-shaped eyebrows tightened as she looked at Severo.
Severo approached the bed and leaned over to kiss her on the lips before saying, “Wait a little longer, I’ll be out after my shower.

Allyce opened her mouth to say something back, but Severo tugged on her small hand: “Be good, wait for me”.
With that, he curved his lips at her and got up and headed for the bathroom.
Allyce was so angry that she picked up a pillow and threw it at Severo.
Shame on you, man!
Severo turned his head as if he had eyes behind his back and took the pillow in his arms, raising an eyebrow. “Are you that angry with me for making you wait a little longer?”
He blinked, his normally handsome and cold face looking extremely innocent at this small gesture.
“Get out of the shower!” Allyce felt angry at the look on his face.
It wasn’t because Severo said so that she was angry.
Although Severo sometimes teased her and said dirty things to her when she was with him, in this situation, he had clearly seen that she wanted to ask him about Adam’s presence in Solares Castle.
But he had deliberately interrupted with those words, clearly not meaning to tell her.
Severo wasn’t lying to her, he was just hiding it from her.
It had always been like that and she knew it better than anyone.

“Let go, I’m hot.” Allyce pulled her hand away from Severo’s, trying to sound as sleepy as possible.
Severus had always been at ease in her presence, so after Allyce pushed him away in disgust, he simply moved his whole body and firmly locked her directly into his arms.
Warm, dry palms pressed against her slightly chilled belly as he whispered, “Why has it taken you so long to conceive a child?”
Allyce froze for a moment before realising what Severo’s words meant.
His body stiffened imperceptibly, “It can’t be that quick …”
“Why can’t it be that fast? We are both in good health and …” he paused here, his thin lips moved to her ear and sucked gently, “I sow very often”.
As soon as Allyce heard his next words, her face instantly burned and she lifted her foot under the sheets and kicked him, saying in a somewhat exasperated voice, “You think you can say that and get away with it Adam!”
Allyce stiffened for the first time, but she tried her best, but Severo still held her firmly in his arms and would not let go, only whispering, “We’ll talk about Adam later, first let’s get some exercise on the bed …”.
Seeing that Severo was not being superficial, but saying he would talk about it later, Allyce’s movements stopped slightly.
