Chapter 540: Tonight we leave

Oliveria and Tajo looked incredulous at Severo’s words.
Oliveria did not know Severo’s personality very well, but Tajo did.
I didn’t think Severo would let Oliveria go so easily.
Tajo thought that Severo probably had some misgivings about him, which is why he did not go after Oliveria directly in front of him.
At this thought, his face softened a little.
“Since Severo has said so, then you should go ahead.”
Seeing that Tajo had already spoken and that Severo was not making any more noise, Oliveria then dared to get up and leave.
As soon as Oliveria left, the atmosphere in the room became oppressive.
Tajo was frowning, but before he could say anything, he heard Severo say: “I want to move, it’s a bit far from LK and it’s not very convenient”.
Tajo thought Severo was going to talk to him about what had happened earlier, but he didn’t expect him to say anything more than that.
So he spoke in disbelief: “What did you say?
“I said I wanted to move for a while, to a place closer to the office”. Severo explained again patiently, without making a face of circumstance at Tajo for the first time.
Tajo was slightly relieved to think that Severo hadn’t just frowned at Oliveria, but then he thought about what had happened earlier in Lorenzo’s room and his brow furrowed again.
What he understood was that Severo had realised what he was up to and was just looking for a reason to get out of the castle and protect Allyce.
Only Severo had not faced him head-on, like last time, which made Tajo feel that Severo was showing weakness.
At the same time, he felt he could not push Severo too hard.
After thinking about it for a long time, he spoke: “You are also such a great person, wherever you want to live is naturally your freedom, I will not interfere, but …”.
At that moment, his tone changed and he looked at Severo with a slightly serious face, seeing Severo’s calm face, he spoke, “The presidential election convention is coming up, it’s not very quiet outside, I will assign you a group of the best bodyguards.”
His tone was full of concern, but Severo knew perfectly well that Tajo was only looking for someone to keep an eye on him.
But he didn’t care.
I didn’t know who the winner was until the end.
“Then I’ll thank grandfather and we’ll leave tonight”. Severo said, and got up to leave without even saying goodbye.
Tajo was annoyed, but didn’t say much.

Allyce showered and half lay in bed, waiting for Severo to return.
He waited and waited, but when he didn’t see him, he panicked a little.
He was about to get up and go to fetch Severo when the maid’s voice came from outside.
“Young Master Severo”.
“Is the lady asleep?”
Then came Severo’s deep voice.
Without waiting for Allyce to listen more carefully, Severo pushed open the door and entered.
The tall figure paused in the doorway for a moment, his gaze shifted to the bed and he saw Allyce sitting on it before he withdrew his gaze and entered, closing the door behind him and walking towards her.
“What took you so long to get here?”
asked Allyce as she saw Severo approaching and sitting on the bed, so she approached him with the blankets in her arms and sat down on her knees beside him.
Allyce had already cleaned herself up, her whole body looked clean and shiny, and her voice was deep, as she was wearing her pink pyjamas.
Severus couldn’t resist gently pinching her face, but Allyce frowned slightly and avoided him, so Severus reached over and pinched her again.
Only when Allyce opened her face did Severo explain: “I’m late, but we can’t sleep here today.
Allyce looked at him with a surprised expression, “What’s wrong? What’s wrong?”
“I wanted to move to a house closer to the office, it would be more comfortable. Severo looked at her and spoke seriously.
Allyce frowned and cocked her head to one side: “I guess I believe that.
“Believe it or not, we’re moving in tonight anyway.” said Severo, before getting up and starting to sort through his things.
When Allyce saw him in that position, she realised that he wasn’t joking and that he was indeed moving out tonight.
She wanted to ask what was going on, but it was clear that Severo was not going to talk to her.
Allyce had no choice but to stop.
He got up, changed his clothes and went to help Severo put his things in order.
As soon as he approached, Severo’s long arm was outstretched and his voice was cold and weak: “Go and sit down on the side”.
Allyce sniffed and hummed softly, murmuring, “Don’t be clumsy”.
But inside, she was still sweet.
From primary school to university, no one unpacked her bags before she left.
That is, until she met Severo.
He really did everything he had to do for her.
He went out of his way to help her with everything, even the little things.
Allyce’s heart could not help but soften.
Thanks to Severo, I could look back on those years and feel that they had not been so hard.
Whether it was the pain of losing her father, being falsely accused or being abandoned by the Delahoz from her family …
All these ups and downs and shortcomings were gradually made up for by Severo.
A happy man is not one whose heart is free from resentment and bigotry, but one whose gentleness and gratitude soften it.
“Señorito Severo, the butler Betances is here”.
The voice of the maid outside interrupted Allyce’s thoughts.
He had to admit that, as happy as he felt now, there was a real problem with Tajo as a person.
He was family, and he didn’t look like family.
Severo, who was organising his things, straightened up at the word.
Allyce stood up and said, “I’m going to go”.
Then he picked up his feet and ran for the door, the slippers on his feet clicking and cracking as he did so.
Allyce opened the door and saw two maids standing beside her, with Saul not far behind them.
When Allyce opened the door, the two maids stepped aside, revealing Saul behind them.
Allyce tilted her head slightly and looked at Saul with a questioning look: “Is something wrong with Betances, the housekeeper?
“I just came to let you know that the car and the bodyguard are ready, I wonder when Master Severo decided to leave. As Saul spoke, he merely looked at Allyce and quickly lowered his head, respectfully.
Allyce’s face was slightly surprised; was this the trip Severo had made to talk to Tajo about his move?
And not only had Tajo accepted, but he had even arranged for a car and bodyguards?
Was that such a good thing?
Allyce couldn’t believe it.
