As soon as the two entered, a waiter approached them.
“Hello, sir.
The waiter merely said this and went directly to usher Severo and Allyce inside.
From the way the waiter acted, he seemed to know Severo.
It wasn’t until they sat down that Allyce found the opportunity to ask Severo: “What exactly is your relationship with Lorenzo? He says he is your uncle and that he is close to you?”
The question seemed unanswerable, and Severo frowned slightly and thought for a moment before saying, “I was going to call myself a big brother.
There was a tinge of depression in that tone.
Allyce, however, was confused by his comment.
Was Lorenzo going to call Severo big brother? And Lorenzo said Severo was going to call him uncle.
It was a bit confusing.
When he asked more questions, Severo stopped paying attention to him.
Thank goodness Lorenzo had arrived.
“Severo, Miss Delahoz,” Lorenzo greeted them with a smile as soon as they were seated.
Lorenzo had put on a very flirtatious pink shirt, but for his tall physique, he didn’t look effeminate at all.
Allyce had to nod politely, “Hello”.
Whatever the relationship between the two, it was unusual anyway.
Otherwise, they would not be dining in an “old” place.
Severo didn’t even bother with Lorenzo.
However, Lorenzo didn’t seem to mind much either.
As soon as he sat down, he began to say, “It’s the first time I’ve seen Miss Delahoz, she’s very pretty, I always thought you would fall into Izar’s hands. …”
Severo heard him mention Izar and finally looked up to ask: “Have you seen her recently?
“Izar?” said Lorenzo, in a non-standard and comical-sounding pronunciation.
But when it came to Izar, Allyce was not amused.
“What do you mean, Izar really showed up?” Allyce asked aloud.
Hearing Allyce’s question, Lorenzo said, “Do you want to see her? I’ll ask her to meet with you some other time.
Allyce smiled and turned her head to look at Severo in disbelief.
Izar had disappeared from Solares Castle and Allyce had returned to Z. Severo had stayed for a while, but had run back because something had happened to him in Cloud Cit.
Moreover, no one cared about Izar.
This time, it was necessary for Tajo to break the news about Izar to silence Severo.
What he did not understand was whether this was a plan that Tajo had devised some time ago, or whether he had contacted Izar again before that.
Lorenzo’s words confirmed that Izar had been in contact with Solares Castle, otherwise he would not have said he could make an appointment with Allyce if she wanted to see him.
Severo gave Allyce a reassuring look but didn’t say much.
Lorenzo also noticed a change in the atmosphere at the table after mentioning Ízar.
He raised an eyebrow as if he understood something and naturally turned the conversation around, falling back on Allyce.
“The last time you came to J I was giving a lecture at a university out of town and I didn’t get to meet you again or get a chance to meet your wife, this time just in time, by the way, where is your son, how come you didn’t come?”.
As he finished, his eyes swept back and forth between the two of them.
Allyce, however, was surprised by his words “your wife”; she had thought that no one in the Solares family would recognise her as such.
“He’s young and I’m worried he won’t fit in.” Severo brought up the subject lightly.
Then Lorenzo was about to say something else, but his phone rang.
She picked up the phone, sounding impatient, but her tone was intimate: “Baby, I’m busy now, come and see you tonight …”.
Allyce sniffed and couldn’t help but look at Lorenzo once more, she thought the man looked a bit like Neto.
Was Severo born to be friends with a playboy?
Allyce was right, Lorenzo was indeed a playboy.
Over the course of the meal, Lorenzo had received no less than five phone calls from women, all of whom he had addressed as “Baby” and several times by the wrong name, but even when he had called them by the wrong name, he had managed to return them.
Allyce was surprised when Severo offered her a dish: “Try it, I used to eat here at J. It’s good.
Allyce shot him a look, knowing that Severo was telling him to eat and not to ask about Lorenzo.
The dinner was quite harmonious.
Lorenzo had a lot to say and kept talking, but anything other than Izar was pointless.
When it was time to leave, Lorenzo waved them off: “I’m going to my appointment, goodbye.
Allyce couldn’t help but speak her mind: “He reminds me of Neto”.
Severo sniffed and was about to open the car door, then turned his head to look at Allyce, “Neto is not like him”.
He then went on to tell Allyce how he and Lorenzo had met.
“I met him when he was being chased for owing a loan shark and that day he was in a bad mood and I dropped by to help him with some people …” Here Severo paused.
Allyce’s mind was whirling rapidly: “And then he was going to claim you as his big brother?
Severo’s face suddenly darkened. “It wasn’t long before my grandfather recognised him as the illegitimate son he left out in the open.
Allyce couldn’t help but exclaim: “It’s too much of a coincidence, isn’t it?
Severo grimaced, opened the car door and got in.
Allyce sat up from the other side and looked at his rather smelly face and asked without fear of death, “So he really is your uncle?”.
Severo turned his head to look at her, his dark eyes slightly narrowed and his voice deep: “Allyce!
“You said he’s different from Neto, what’s different? Allyce hastily changed the subject.
Severo looked at her and explained: “Neto used to be a womaniser, that is the nature of a man, as for Lorenzo …”.
He thought for a moment before saying: “He has no principles”.
Allyce nodded silently, thinking she probably understood what Severo meant.

Instead of returning directly to the castle of Solares, Severo took her to the river to see the night view.
A night scene in a foreign country could not be more beautiful than the one in Cloud City.
“I want to call Neto.” said Allyce as she leaned on the railing.
Severo froze for a moment, realising that she was thinking about Alonzo, looked at the time and said, “You can call him, it’s tomorrow at Z.”
Allyce snorted and her eyes lit up.
Severo looked at the bright light reflecting in his eyes and his face softened as he took out his phone to call Neto.
