Tajo was taking Alonzo to J?
Allyce looked at Tajo’s strange smile, and her heart sank fast.
In terms of antiquity, Tagus was Alonzo’s maternal great-grandfather and Alonzo should have called him great-grandfather.
In many families, the older the elderly are, the more they like children.
But Tajo and Severo did not get along, and today was the first time Tajo had met Alonzo, and it was clear from his attitude that he did not like Alonzo.
As to why he had brought Alonzo to J, Allyce didn’t even want to guess.
Whether Tajo was serious or just saying it, she would never agree.
Allyce lowered her eyes slightly to hide the emotions swirling beneath them and said in a soft voice, “It’s better for children to live with their parents, grandfather, you’re older and should prefer the quiet, children are very unruly.”
Tajo laughed a little before saying: “I was just mentioning it, don’t be afraid.
Allyce laughed with him and didn’t say another word in silence.
He had no chance of beating Tajo, so he tried not to talk as much as he could.
Tajo saw that Allyce had stopped talking, and as if he didn’t see the point, he just looked at her and turned to go into the other room.
He wasn’t happy with Allyce, or even Alonzo, and Severo wasn’t here now, so he didn’t bother wasting any more time on Allyce.
Allyce was slightly relieved to see Tajo leave.
I had always been a bit confused about what kind of relationship Severo and Tajo had with each other.
In her limited life experience, relatives had only benefited and used each other, as she and her Delahoz family did, or had treated each other sincerely, as Adam did with Delfina.
Severus and Tagus, on the other hand, felt less like family and more like rivals.
Allyce felt that it could not be said that either of them had feelings for the other, but it could not be said that they did not have feelings for each other.
Although Severo had almost made an enemy of Tajo before because of what happened to her, it was only by the skin of his teeth.
Allyce had a feeling that Tajo would not stop there.
What worried him most was what Tajo had said earlier.
Whether Tajo was just saying that or really had something else in mind, there was no way she was going to let him take Alonzo.
“Mum …”
Alonzo’s voice brought Allyce back to her thoughts.
She came back to her senses and turned her head to look at Alonzo, smiling at him before bending down to pick him up and carry him to the couch before asking with a smile, “What’s up?”
“The cup, I didn’t hold it right …” she looked at Allyce with her dark eyes wide, straining and explaining seriously with a careful look on her little face.
Allyce’s heart softened as she responded that Alonzo was explaining about the broken cup.
“Mmm, Mama knows you didn’t mean it.” He stroked Alonzo’s face, his face full of softness.
Alonzo was not a grumpy child and, naturally, he did not throw things.
Alonzo nodded as if he understood, his eyes lit up and then he whispered, “Not with great-grandfather ….”
It turned out that he had understood Tajo’s words.
“Don’t worry, mum won’t let great-grandpa take you.” Allyce assured him with a smile.
Alonzo smiled happily at this.
…
Throughout the day, Allyce took Alonzo to stay in Tajo’s presidential suite, except at dinner, when the wind saw Tajo, the rest of the time Tajo was in his room without knowing what he was doing.
Allyce didn’t wonder what was going on in the ballroom and thought it would be good to have her hands free for now.
It was not until the evening that he saw Severo.
When Severo arrived, he looked pale, tired and exhausted.
Allyce asked, “All set?”.
Severo looked at Allyce and looked as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he said nothing, but opened his mouth and said, “Yes”.
“Papa!” Alonzo, who had been ignored, ran and hugged Severo’s leg.
Severo looked at his son and his face softened.
“How was your day, how did you like your great-grandfather? Severo picked him up.
Allyce looked at Severo, not missing the expectation implicit in his words.
Did you expect Severo to say “like”?
Alonzo had been pleased when he was picked up by Severo, but after hearing Severo’s words, his face fell, not saying he liked or disliked it.
How could Severo, as intelligent as he was, not guess what Alonzo’s silence meant?
Severo didn’t say much as he left Alonzo with a still face, then turned to Allyce and said, “I’m going in to see Grandpa, then we’ll go home together.”
“Oh.” Allyce responded painlessly, with all the disgust written on her face.
But although his face did not look too happy, he did not say a word in reply, but took Alonzo and cajoled him to go home after visiting his great-grandfather.
Every child has a deep dependence and trust in his mother, and although Alonzo did not like Tajo very much, he listened to his mother.
As Severo watched, the words “forget it” were on his lips, but Allyce had already grabbed Alonzo and was heading for Tajo’s room.
When there was a knock on the door, Tajo was on the phone, speaking in English, probably calling from abroad.
When he heard the door open, he looked back and saw that it was the Severo family, so he spoke briefly on the phone and hung up.
Tajo put the phone aside and looked back and forth between the three of them before speaking: “Are you finished?
He turned to Severo, who stood silently holding Alonzo without Allyce.
“Well, we’re done now, so I’ve come to tell you that we’re ready to go home and see you again tomorrow. Severo’s voice was calm and cold, not intimate at all.
In fact, the tones of both were raw and cold, but they managed to maintain that closeness.
Tajo raised an eyebrow, “Well, I’m still a bit tired from flying for ten hours, so I’m going to stay in Cloud Cit for a while, will you let me stay in a hotel?
Allyce raised her head to look at Tajo, what did she mean, did she want to stay in Cloud Cit Village again?
