Allyce’s strength was not too strong, but it pushed Severo off his feet, and when he stabilised, Allyce looked over to see Allyce helping Gabrio up with a worried look on his face.
Gabrio stood up with Allyce’s strength.
He gave Severo a seemingly careless look before smiling at Allyce to indicate that he was fine.
As soon as the smile faded, he coughed again.
As soon as Allyce became restless, he said, “Let me take you to the hospital”.
Gabrio waved his hand hastily: “I’m fine …”.
He said with a slight pause and turned his gaze back to Severo, “There has been a slight misunderstanding between me and Mr. Betances, you mustn’t blame him.
“I don’t blame him, I’ll take you to the hospital.” Allyce said immediately without even looking at Severo.
Gabrio’s gaze flickered slightly.
From what he knew of Allyce, it was obvious that she was blaming Severo for that look.
Allyce was very insistent on taking Gabrio to the hospital, and Gabrio couldn’t resist her, so he let himself be dragged along.
Severo, who had been watching out of the corner of his eye, stood in front of the two men with an icy face and a cold voice: “Allyce, stop”.
“Get out of the way.” Allyce looked at Severo with the same cold stare.
Severo’s eyebrows twitched slightly, his dark eyes narrowed slightly and his thin lips pursed straight up, a sign of his anger.
Allyce’s mind was not at peace either.
She was as angry as Severo.
He didn’t know what had happened between Severo and Gabrio, but he couldn’t help but be angry at Severo for beating him until he vomited blood.
Moreover, Severo had been prejudiced against Gabrio from the beginning.
And with Gabrio’s temperament, Allyce was sure that Severo would be the first to strike.
Severo looked at Allyce’s stubborn gaze, and his hand at his side involuntarily tensed.
The next moment, he reached out and pulled Allyce away from him, “Come with me”.
“What are you doing! Let go of me!” Allyce struggled hard but to no avail, Severo’s strength was frighteningly strong and there was no way he could get free.
Severo looked at Gabrio with a dodging glance and then pulled Allyce in the opposite direction.
Allyce’s stubborn temper came out at that moment and she shouted at Severo: “I’m not going with you!
Gabrio stepped forward and stopped Severo: “Severo, didn’t you hear Allyce tell you to let him go!
He stared at Severo with a serious look on his face, no longer even using his usual form of address.
Severo did not even give him an extra glance, let alone speak to him.
Severo pushed Gabrio out of the way, dragged Allyce with him and headed straight for Tajo’s room.
“Severo!” said Allyce, her voice glowing with aggression and anger.
There had never been a time when I hated Severo’s brutal temperament so much.
Gabrio stepped forward once more and Severo threw a punch without thinking, but what he didn’t expect was that his punch landed not on Gabrio, but on Allyce.
Allyce already thought that Severo must be responsible for most of the conflict between Severo and Gabrio.
So when he saw Severo throw his fist again, the thought that crossed his mind was that he couldn’t let Severo hit Gabrio again.
He then blocked Gabrio’s punch.
Severo’s punch was charged with anger, so the force was not small, and Allyce was so thin that it hit her like a heavy hammer, and she took several steps back before Gabrio knocked her back.
For a moment, his chest felt like it was about to explode.
“Uh …” His face suddenly went white, and after a choked grunt, he bit his lip to stop making noise.
Gabrio was the first to react.
“Allyce!” he shouted Allyce’s name with a hint of panic in his voice.
Allyce put one hand to her chest and gently pushed Gabrio away with the other, shaking her head, “I’m fine Gabrio, you’re a doctor yourself, you must know your situation, I’ll save taking you to the hospital, take care of it yourself and then I’ll apologise”.
Gabrio heard the meaning of Allyce’s words, Severo had just got angry and his emotions were obviously out of control, the force of that punch must have been very strong, Allyce’s face had changed colour, it must have hurt.
Allyce’s face had changed and it must have hurt, but she held the pain in and didn’t show it in front of him, but let it pass.
I fear that Allyce herself did not realise that from the moment she appeared here, her look and tone were more apologetic towards Gabrio and less reproachful towards Severo.
No doubt Gabrio was wise, and Allyce had blocked the blow for him without so much as an apology.
But …
He looked at the still stunned Severo and the corner of his mouth twitched invisibly; Severo, I’m afraid, did not think so.
Thinking about this, Gabrio said with an apologetic face, “I’ll go get busy then, sorry, I was supposed to be at Alonzo’s birthday party today, but I accidentally had a little misunderstanding with Mr. Betances.”
This he said to Allyce, who just pulled her lips together and smiled at him, a slightly forced smile.
Gabrio’s face was a little puzzled, and he turned to leave with a glance at Severo.
However, there was something odd about the way he walked as he left.
He gritted his teeth and hissed coldly, thinking Severo had hit him hard.
After Gabrio left, Allyce and Severo stood face to face.
“Why don’t you go ahead to the ballroom, we’ll talk about things at home tonight. Allyce’s voice was soft and weak as she spoke due to a pain in her chest.
Severo’s brow furrowed, so he looked up at Allyce.
Her face was a little white, and even in heels, she was still shorter than him, standing slim and frail, without the coldness in her face that she had had when she had spoken to Severo when Gabrio was here earlier.
Severo got a little lump in his throat and his lips twitched for a moment before he said, “Go to your room, I’ll check on you.
“No, there’s nothing wrong with me.” Allyce shook her head and turned to leave.
Severus pulled her back, how could he be so sure? He had tried to contain his strength when they were in bed, but he had managed to leave bruises on her body, not to mention the punch he had just thrown in anger.
Allyce spoke patiently again, “I’m very well, let’s talk about you and Gabrio when we get back tonight”.
She was a little angry with Severo for having done it to Gabrio, but she knew that Severo was not unreasonable.
