Severo wasn’t going to talk to her any more, however, and just frowned a little: “You don’t have to worry about that, just do as I say”.
He seemed to be asking Allyce’s opinion, but Severo’s tone was irresistible.
Allyce said in an impatient tone, “I know”.
Seeing her unhappy face, Severo was about to open his mouth to say something when Allyce interrupted him, “I know, I’ll do whatever you want me to do, okay? You’re always like that anyway, no matter what you want to do, you don’t discuss it with me beforehand, you just have to set me up”.
Allyce sounded a little angry, but Severo just stared at her silently, with no intention of opening his mouth to explain.
“Go about your business if you have something to do, don’t worry about us.” With that, Allyce turned to the side and sat down.
He nonchalantly asked the waiter for a glass of juice and drank it carelessly, but his eyes were on Severo’s movements.
After sitting down, Severo stared at her for a few seconds before someone came over to talk to Severo and then he was surrounded by people.
Allyce’s grip on her mug tightened involuntarily, Severo, it really was …
She was angry for a while when Lucila and Neto approached her with Alonzo.
“Why are you here alone, where is Severo?” Lucila looked around in confusion.
Allyce spoke lightly: “He’s busy, he doesn’t have time for me”.
Lucila froze for a moment, sat down next to him and asked in a whisper: “Did you have a fight with him?
Allyce just shook her head, “No”.
To be honest, she had not fought with Severo.
It was just that somehow I felt that I could no longer understand Severo, that I couldn’t even manage the minimum respect and communication between husband and wife.

Delfina left the room in a panic.
He continued to walk down the corridor, his chest a little stiff but holding up.
How was she to explain if Gabrio asked her why Alonzo had stayed with her for two years?
To tell Gabrio the truth about his brother working for the mafia?
Would Gabrio despise her if she told him?
After all, Gabrio was from a clean family.
He regretted not having said something like that a moment ago, that he had provoked Allyce on purpose.
But something in her heart couldn’t bear the fact that Allyce and Gabrio were so naturally intimate.
Gabrio and Allyce were not lovers, but they were so close that she felt that no matter how hard she tried, she would never fit in or get over Allyce.
That made her feel bad inside, so she couldn’t help herself for a moment and said what she said.
She made her way to a sitting area on the floor, found a seat and sat down, so distracted that she didn’t even notice when someone sat down across from her.
Finally, when she looked up without thinking, she realised that the person sitting in front of her was, in fact, Gabrio.
“Doctor Ortis,” he stammered a little as he spoke out of sheer surprise.
Gabrio had a gentle smile on his face: “I thought I would have to sit here for a long time before you looked up at me.
“I’m sorry, I …” Once she spoke, Delfina was again at a loss for words.
Gabrio spoke at the right moment, with a worried tone: “Are you OK? There’s something wrong with you.
Delfina’s eyes lit up: “No”.
The next thing Gabrio said came as a shock to Delfina: “Then let’s go back to the ballroom”.
Why didn’t Dr. Ortis ask about Alonzo?
“If you don’t go, I’ll have no female companionship today. Gabrio saw her face full of surprise and gave a faint smile.
Delfina was full of praise: “Of course I’ll come, let’s go back now”.
With that, he stood up as if he feared Gabrio would back down.
Gabrio smiled faintly and led her by the arm towards the ballroom.
Delfina felt her heart leap out of her chest as Gabrio grabbed her shoulders.
Not only did Dr. Ortis not ask any questions, but he wanted her to continue into the ballroom as his escort and took her by the shoulders.
I have never been so close to Gabrio.
Gabrio, who was much taller than Delfina, deliberately slowed his pace to match Delfina’s, lowering his eyes slightly and seeing Delfina’s shy and timid gaze, only raised an expressionless eyebrow.

When Tajo arrived, Allyce was taking pictures of Alonzo and Lucila.
Alonzo was sitting in a pram and Lucila was crouched next to him, trying hard to teach him how to do the scissor hands.
However, the boy was still a bit uncoordinated with his fingers, so he couldn’t do it properly, but every time Allyce raised her phone to take a picture, he would raise his hand.
Allyce took several photos and then flipped through them and laughed.
He then handed them to Alonzo and asked him to look at them himself.
Allyce then asked him: “Who is this?
“It’s …”
Alonzo said “yes” for a long time and finally said “Alonzo …”.
Although her voice was not standard, Allyce understood her.
Allyce was about to say something when the ballroom suddenly fell silent.
He looked up and saw that all the people were looking in the direction of the door and whispering something.
Someone next to Allyce was also whispering, and Allyce couldn’t help but overhear the whispered words: “The Earl of J …”.
It was obvious that this was a reference to Tajo.
The Count of J. La Reina himself.
So it was Tajo who had arrived.
Severo walked through the crowd towards Allyce: “Let’s go”.
Allyce gave him a look and got up and pushed the pram in which Alonzo was sitting towards the door.
The ballroom was full of people waiting to meet Tajo.
Tajo arrived, but only made a brief appearance and then left.
Severo personally escorted Allyce and her group to their room before returning to the ballroom.
Before Severo left, Allyce asked him, “How long do I have to stay here with Grandpa?
Severo noticed her change of direction and his dark eyes lit up for a moment.
“It won’t be long, I’ll be back soon.” Severus said, not caring that there were bodyguards present, he grabbed Allyce’s face and kissed her.
Allyce was not as thick-skinned as Severo, so she reached out to push him away.
But his strength was no match for Severus’.
Severo gave her a long, deep kiss before turning to leave.
Just before he left, Allyce couldn’t resist pulling him back and asking, “What the hell are you doing?
Severo’s body paused slightly and, without giving him a chance to think, Allyce asked him directly, “What are you going to do when you let us out first?”
