Allyce’s face paled slightly at his words.
Severo had also informed Tajo?
Only for a brief moment did he feel unease in his heart, and come to think of it, Tajo was, after all, Severo’s only family in the world, and of course Enzo didn’t count.
So it made sense for Severo to invite Tajo.
But in Allyce’s mind, there was still some resistance to Tajo as a person.
After all, much of what happened then was Tajo’s fault.
But after two years of separation, it seems that nothing else matters, except that she and Severo suffered from Severo’s misunderstanding.
Allyce made her way to the ballroom with many worries.
Once inside the ballroom, Severo said: “I’m going to look around the ballroom for a while, why don’t you take Alonzo into the ballroom first?
“Hmm.” Allyce replied and led Alonzo into the living room, originally she didn’t like dealing with this kind of scene either.

She and Alonzo had just settled in the living room when Lucila and Neto arrived.
“Allyce!”
Allyce looked towards the door at the sound of Lucila’s voice.
Lucila was wearing a little dress today, and it was obvious that she had done her hair and make-up in a very sophisticated way, giving her a much more elegant look.
Allyce was still happy to see her friends and said with a smile, “There you are”.
Neto greeted her and slipped away to play with Alonzo.
He approached and saw that Alonzo was holding a carton of milk and awkwardly trying to put the straw in, but could not get it in with much effort.
Neto squatted down in front of Alonzo and cajoled him: “Give the guy some and I’ll open it for you”.
Alonzo was somewhat impressed with Neto and understood his words, so he immediately handed the milk to Severo: “Drink”.
Neto opened it and handed it to Alonzo, who took a big gulp from the milk carton and, seeing that Neto was still staring at it, put it in his mouth.
Neto didn’t hesitate and took a sip right away.
Lucila couldn’t help grimacing at the sight of him: “Look at him, he’s so old and he still takes milk from the children.
Allyce looked back and turned her face, smiling crookedly at Lucila, “He’s just teasing the kids, and you have such a problem with him?
Lucila grunted and took a seat next to Allyce.
As if something occurred to her, she said, “Why didn’t you say anything beforehand if you were going to have such a big birthday party for Alonzo all of a sudden, I didn’t even prepare, I even went shopping for the dress on the spur of the moment, and I didn’t have time to look at others, and I don’t know if I lost out.”
What was Allyce going to say?
Did you really only find out a few days ago?
Only that was the sort of thing she certainly wouldn’t say.
“I just got back from my trip to Sky City yesterday because I was so busy, and he did all the work for Alonzo’s birthday party.” Allyce explained to Lucila with an apologetic face.
Neto came over and shook his head: “Tsk, tsk, I think Severo has done something wrong. You’re married, but you haven’t had a wedding yet. He’s organising a birthday party for his own son”.
Allyce froze when she heard that.
She had forgotten that she and Severo hadn’t even had a wedding.
Lucila saw that Allyce’s face didn’t look so good and she raised her hand and slapped Neto violently: “No one will take you for a mute if you don’t speak.
“What am I saying is wrong? It’s not supposed to be like this, if I … You’re so rude, you’ll never get married …”
“If I can’t get married, I can live with myself, I don’t need you to get involved”.
The two were talking and then got into a fight.
Alonzo watched curiously as Neto and Lucila squirmed and then laughed.
Allyce knew the two were playing games and had no intention of trying to persuade them.
I was slightly distracted and wouldn’t have thought about it if Neto hadn’t mentioned it.
At that moment, his phone rang.
When Alonzo heard her phone ring, he turned his head to look at her and pointed his little hand at her purse, saying vaguely: “Phone …”.
Allyce patted Alonzo’s head, “Well, someone’s calling Mummy, Alonzo’s so smart he even knows.
She took her phone out of her bag and checked that it was Gabrio calling her, a small smile appeared on her face.
I had sent the invitation to Gabrio two days ago.
Allyce took Alonzo in her arms before picking up the phone: “Gabrio, are you here?
“I was in the lobby and I only saw Severo, not you. Indeed, there was some noise from Gabrio.
With a snort, Allyce got up, handed Lucila the Alonzo and said as she headed for the door, “I’m in the lounge, wait for me, I’ll be right there.
Gabrio answered and hung up the phone.
There were quite a few people in the lobby and Gabrio stood out well in the crowd in his black suit, so Allyce found Gabrio easily in the lobby.
“Gabrio,” Allyce called to him as she approached him.
Gabrio looked back and was about to call out to her, but froze a little, slightly out of breath, before saying, “Allyce”.
“Alonzo is still in the living room, do you want to go and see him? He looks very handsome today in his little dress.” In Allyce’s mind, Gabrio was like her mother’s family.
Gabrio nodded, “Yes, but there’s someone else who has to wait.
“Who?” asked Allyce, puzzled.
At that moment, a familiar figure appeared in Allyce’s field of vision.
It was really Delfina!
Because of her line of sight, Delfina came closer and only saw Gabrio and called out to him with a smile: “Doctor Ortis”.
Only when he got closer did he see that Allyce was also there.
He froze for a moment before pronouncing: “Madame Betances”.
“Miss Natividad,” Allyce’s gaze swept over the two without moving.
These two …
Gabrio, as if he knew what was going on in Allyce’s head, took the floor and explained, “Miss Natividad has been in the hospital too long and said she wanted to go for a walk, so I thought she was feeling much better lately, so I brought her along for the ride, and you know each other.”
Allyce nodded, “So that’s how it is”.
But he did not miss the way Delfina’s eyes darkened after hearing Gabrio’s words.
It seemed that Delfina was interested in Gabrio and Gabrio did not seem to have any feelings for her.
