Allyce smiled and said: “That’s for sure, you’re like my own brother!
Gabrio reached out and stroked her head in a gentle motion, but smiled.
Allyce thought she had gone out for a while and if she didn’t come back Severo would be looking for her.
He explained to Gabrio: “Severo is still waiting for me, so I have to go there. I was planning to come and see you when I finished, but I didn’t expect to find you here.
Gabrio nodded slightly, “Go on, don’t keep Mr. Betances waiting”.
His voice was still soft, but the smile in those half-gathered eyes did not reach the depths of his eyes.
Allyce, trusting Gabrio, paid no attention to his micro-expressions, said goodbye and turned to leave, returning Gabrio’s greeting in the middle of his walk.
Gabrio raised his hand in response.
It wasn’t until Allyce was far away that she held back the smile on her face, her brow furrowed, and then she closed her eyes, but a soft sigh escaped her lips.

Allyce was right, if he didn’t come back, Severo was going to bring someone.
As she approached, she saw Severo get up from the bench with Alonzo on his back and head towards her.
Seeing this, she hastened to call him.
“Severo!”
At the sound of Allyce’s voice, Severo stopped.
He looked at Allyce with a calm face and waited for her to approach before leaning over and whispering, “Go back to the doctor and get some medicine.
Allyce wondered: “What kind of medicine?
Severo smiled abruptly, brightly.
The next moment, he was heard to say: “Medicine for indigestion”.
“…”
Was Severo talking about his constipation?
Without waiting for Allyce to get angry, Severo grabbed her by the shoulders and headed for the doctor’s office: “Let’s go to the doctor first”.
Allyce bristled, showing her discontent.
I hadn’t even had a proper conversation with him about constipation!

Doctor’s consultation.
“Miss Natividad’s situation is not very promising, her body is having a strong rejection reaction and is very likely to be life threatening, details are pending further examination, after discussing the situation, we believe the most conservative direction is to stay in bed and go one step at a time.”
Delfina arrived here last night and not many tests have been done yet.
As the doctor spoke, he watched Severo’s face.
Of course, he knew that this man was a European financial tycoon, so he dared not hide anything, and told him the truth.
But then he worried that Severo would get angry.
Severo and Allyce had only come to enquire about the situation, and they certainly weren’t going to get angry.
When they returned from the doctor’s office, they went back to the ward.
Delfina had woken up and was sitting up in bed looking around.
When she saw Allyce and her team enter, her eyes fell on Alonzo and she spoke with concern: “Alonzo?
Alonzo heard Delfina call out to him and ran to her.
“Aunty”.
He called out to Delfina and leaned over the bed to look at her, taking her hand without speaking.
He didn’t know what a heart attack was or what rejection was, but he could detect something in the seriousness of the atmosphere that made him panic.
He stroked Alonzo’s head and whispered something to elicit a response from him before looking at Allyce with a smile, “Miss Delahoz”.
Allyce came over and sat down in front of the bed, “How are you feeling?”
Delfina’s voice was weak and soft, “Getting used to it, it’s not the first time”.
Allyce looked at her.
Delfina’s face was calm, her face was hard to read but her eyes were bright and clear.
Allyce’s heart suddenly sank and she didn’t know what to say.
Delfina saw his sunken face and laughed: “It’s really not that bad, don’t be like that, it looks like you’re having a worse time than me.
He wasn’t just saying that, he didn’t really feel bad.
Because it had been very hard for her to survive.
It was a gift to her to live another day, and although her body could suffer terribly at any moment, she didn’t think it mattered much.
Allyce looked at his kind face and smiled slightly.
Delfina dropped her gaze to Severo, who was standing a short distance away.
He was a bit scared of the man, but he had to ask if he wanted to.
She sat up a little straighter, her voice weak but hopeful: “Mr. Betances, when will I be able to see my brother?”
When Severo’s men had taken her to Cloud Cit, of course she had been reluctant, she knew better than to go with strangers.
But then Severo had called her and told her on the phone that she could meet his brother if she came to Cloud Cit.
She hadn’t seen him for years, he was her only family in the world, and she was so afraid that one day she would die without seeing him for the last time.
The two had grown up together, and nothing was more important to her than her brother.
Allyce frowned slightly at his words and followed suit, turning her head to look at Severo.
Was Severo deliberately lying to Delfina, or had he already found Delfina’s brother?
Severo replied tersely and confidently: “Soon, in three days”.
Delfina’s face immediately broke into a bright smile, surprise on her face.
Allyce, seeing this, could not help but guess that Severo must have really found Delfina’s brother.
Allyce talked to Delfina for a while and left to take Alonzo with her.
Alonzo is Severo’s real son, no matter what, and there was no way he was going to tell Delfina about the twists and turns he had taken, mainly because he was afraid she would think too much of it.
Allyce thought about it and said, “Let Alonzo come home with us, it’s not a good idea to stay in the hospital”.
Delfina didn’t think too much about it and beckoned to Alonzo: “Would you like to go to your aunt’s house for a few days?
Severo, for his part, looked at Allyce with a surprised look on his face.
She thought about how the two of them had decided to separate for a while because of Alonzo, and how she had been so determined, but then so worried about Alonzo.
In the end, Allyce was a soft-hearted person who could not be hard on children.
So he did not let her down.
Alonzo gave Severo a doubtful look and then nodded.
Allyce’s smile slipped, perhaps it was the paternal-filial nature, she could sense that Alonzo liked Severo a little.
As the two of them led Alonzo out, Allyce couldn’t resist asking, “Did you find Delfina’s brother?
Severo said mysteriously: “You know his brother too”.
