Allyce just looked at Laurinda for a second before crossing over her and moving forward.
Laurinda, who had been so overbearing, was a little startled by this look, and unconsciously a little short of breath, and a little shy to say what she wanted to say.
Allyce tried to find a place to sit, but when she looked around she couldn’t see even a clean spot.
The anger in his heart churned repeatedly and did not stop for a moment.
The maid, who had a good eye, hurriedly wiped a chair with wool and placed it in front of Allyce.
Only then did Allyce sit down, pull out her mobile phone and call Severo.
Unexpectedly, the call was quickly answered.
“Yes?”
Same old opening line, same old pleasant voice.
Allyce’s voice was cold: “You’d better get back now or I don’t know what I’m going to do with these people”.
With that, he hung up the phone immediately.
Allyce glanced around the room, the faces were young, probably Laurinda’s friends and colleagues or something like that.
The scars on her arms had not yet faded, so Allyce had been covering her arms with her clothes lately, and today she was wearing a long-sleeved black dress, a fitted dress that enhanced her figure.
The hem of the dress came to just above her knees, exposing her long, snow-white legs, and on her feet she wore black heels.
The long black curls draped over her shoulders gave her a touch of mysterious sensuality. She sat with a cold face turned to the crowd, and her expression became unconsciously stern.
The people he looked at shrank unconsciously, feeling a chill and oppression.
Naturally, Laurinda also felt the aura emanating from Allyce’s body.
But she had organised the party, and all her friends were there, and everyone envied her for living in such a luxurious villa, and Allyce had ruined everything!
Whatever happened, he was going to recover.
Laurinda approached her with her arms in the air, looking arrogant: “What the hell do you want, woman, did Severo ask you to come back? You come back all of a sudden and make such a big show, you’re scaring my friend!
Allyce just laughed at this.
And he did laugh out loud: “My home, I can come back whenever I want”.
Laurinda knew that Allyce was laughing at her and shouted in annoyance: “What are you laughing at and apologise to my friend!
Laurinda had invited her friends to a party at her house, had messed up, had no self-awareness and instead asked her to apologise?
“If you’re going to apologise, there has to be an order of precedence”. I don’t know which one of you did this to my dog, but I don’t ask too much, just that you apologise to my dog and ask for forgiveness. ”
Laurinda thought Allyce was making a big deal out of it and said dismissively, “It’s just a dog, what’s the big deal?”.
Dogs are just for fun.
“A dog is no big deal, but in my opinion, Miss Alaniz is beneath him.” Allyce looked at Beef with a kindly look.
Beef crouched beside her, docile and obedient.
At that moment, the sound of a car rattled on the other side of the door.
Allyce stiffened slightly, knowing that it was Severo who had returned.
He looked up at the floor-to-ceiling window just in time to see Severo and Xabat walking across the courtyard towards the lobby.
Severo was still dressed in a simple black suit, his figure long and straight, his bearing unmistakable and striking.
Laurinda also saw Severo, turned pale, gave Allyce a quick glance and suddenly slapped herself hard in the face before running for the door.
Severo pushed open the door and a figure rushed at him.
He didn’t have time to dodge it and caught Laurinda with force.
Laurinda clutched her shirt tightly and cried out in anguish: “Mr Betances, I’m sorry, I know I made a mistake, I shouldn’t have brought my friends here without permission to make such a mess … of the village”.
Severo frowned fiercely and reached out to pull Laurinda from his arms, his eyes unconsciously glancing towards Allyce.
She sat with a sullen face, not moving a muscle, but he knew she was angry.
It was just then that Allyce looked up at him, her eyes meeting his for just a second before they settled on Laurinda.
Laurinda was still crying in Severo’s arms, but he did not push her away.
Severo also reacted to the fact that Laurinda was still in his arms.
He pushed Laurinda away in disgust.
Laurinda’s eyes were misty and she pitifully called out to him: “Mr Betances …”.
However, Severo didn’t even look at her again and rushed towards Allyce.
He stood in front of Allyce, silent for a few seconds, and spoke: “Back?
Allyce didn’t even glance at him any more.
He dropped his gaze to the other people in the room: “Apologise to my dog”.
It was then that Severo saw Beef’s pitiful state, his face sank and he turned his head, saying in a deep voice, “Who has done this?”
“Mr. Betances , we just thought that …” Laurinda eagerly stepped forward.
Before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by Severo: “Did you do it?
Without waiting for Laurinda to respond, he spoke again: “Apologise.
“I …” Laurinda, who had been living in the villa for a few days and felt that Severo was treating her more or less differently, tried to slip away again.
Xabat, who had said nothing, suddenly stepped forward, approached Laurinda, lifted her up and forced her closer to Beef: “Miss Alaniz, our time is precious, and please apologise to Beef first”.
When Beef saw Laurinda, he stood behind Allyce with an “oooh”.
Laurinda looked at Severo pleadingly, she had just slapped herself so Severo would think Allyce had done it, she thought no man would like a rude woman, she was crying for sympathy and thought she could get away with it.
But as he looked at Severo’s cold face, he realised that he had thought too easily.
Laurinda remained resigned: “I didn’t bully her, they did …”.
Severo turned his head to look at the dozen people huddled behind him, those people cowered under Severo’s gaze, one of them pointed a trembling finger at Laurinda, “It was all Laurinda that made us do it …”
Laurinda snorted and hated to swallow the speaker.
But I knew Severo’s attitude was clear, he was helping Allyce and he wouldn’t help her.
He gritted his teeth, bowed his head and said: “Sorry …”.
How dare he apologise to a dog?
Laurinda was the youngest in the family and had been spoiled during her childhood, she had never suffered this kind of anger and already hated Allyce in her heart.
