Something is wrong.
Allyce’s behaviour today was out of character.
Something had gone wrong from the moment she hadn’t gone straight home from work or called him.
At first she hadn’t thought much about it, thinking it was just something that had happened at work and had put her in a bad mood, but now that didn’t seem to be the case.

Throughout the night, Allyce had not slept very soundly.
He kept waking and falling asleep and got up very early.
But to her surprise, Severo was up even before she was.
As she washed up and went downstairs, she heard the “itch” of food frying in the kitchen.
Allyce looked in the direction of the kitchen, took off her slippers, walked barefoot to the entrance, put on her heels and went out.
Severo had just placed the fried bacon on his plate when he heard the sound of a car outside.
His movements with the plate stalled and a cold frost quickly settled under his eyes.
Running?
What was the point of hiding from him? He would always come back.

Allyce went to the office after replacing her phone card and buying a new phone.
Shortly after arriving at the office, Gabrio went to see her.
“Good morning.
Gabrio appeared in the doorway in his suit and Allyce froze for three seconds before responding.
“What are you doing here?”
He said, getting up hurriedly and leaving, letting Gabrio enter and taking a seat beside him.
Once Gabrio sat down, he placed the bag he was carrying on the coffee table and brought it over to Allyce, saying, “By the way, I brought you some breakfast, you’re here so early, you haven’t had breakfast yet, have you?”
Allyce looked at him and said with a smile, “Thank you”.
Now I had no appetite for breakfast.
Even staying with Severo was a torment for her.
He couldn’t help asking Severo what Ariela was and what his relationship with her was.
But he did not dare to ask.
Because he knew that the moment he asked, the peace between them would be broken.
Old stories were being uprooted and she didn’t know what was in store for her.
The only thing to do was to run away.
“You …” Gabrio looked at her dejectedly and wanted to say something, but stopped himself just in time.
The smile on Allyce’s face did not diminish as she said, “I have things to do, Gabrio has to work too I think, I’ll talk to you later when I have time, you know, my uncle came to Cloud Cit recently, he’ll be in the office any minute, I have to work.”
Gabrio frowned slightly at Allyce’s forced smile, but did not stubbornly insist.
He gave her a deep look and said, “Anything you can’t fix, you can call me, no matter what it is, no matter when it’s done”.

After Gabrio left, Allyce had little desire to work.
He stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window and looked down from the 20th floor.
Below was a stream of cars and pedestrians hurrying to and fro.
What was to be done?
He pulled out his phone, but there were no missed calls.
Severo had not called her either.
He was already in a bad mood, and his behaviour the night before had been a little irrational.
So it was only natural that he didn’t bother to call her.
It was not a good idea to go on like this.
He thought better of it and sent a text message to Severo: “Let’s have lunch together, we have something to talk about”.
After sending the message, she was relieved.
At that moment, Ester’s voice rang through the door: “Director Delahoz, there is an urgent meeting in ten minutes”.
“I know.” Allyce replied and hurried to put the phone away, turning to go to the conference room.

People in the company realised early in the morning that the president was in a bad mood today.
Severo slammed the planning book in his hand on the table and said with contempt: “This kind of thing, you have the nerve to show it to me?
The manager in front of him didn’t even dare to breathe, let alone speak.
Severo knew he was pulling his leg, but he couldn’t help it.
Allyce, that little bastard!
He loosened his tie in annoyance and threw the planner at the manager: “Write it down!
The manager was so relieved that he picked up the book and headed for the exit, walking as fast as he could with the wind at his feet.
It had been a long time since the president had been so angry.
Severo closed his eyes slightly, leaned back and began to rest his eyes.
At that moment, the mobile phone I had put aside rang.
Severo’s eyes snapped open and he quickly picked up the phone, seeing the word Xabat on the caller ID.
Slowly he answered the phone and asked: “Have you found it?
“Yes. …”
“Somebody send it.
Severo finished and hung up the phone.
Unconsciously, his finger traced Allyce’s number, debating whether to call her.
Even though she was the one who had started the tantrum, she couldn’t stay angry, she had to be cajoled, didn’t she?
He had found his mobile phone anyway, so why not make a call to …?
He was about to call when a new text alert appeared on his screen.
It was Allyce’s.
-Dinner at noon, something to talk about.
Severo looked at the line and his eyes couldn’t help curling up, finally unable to resist taking the initiative to talk to him…
Only …
With such a serious tone … what exactly was he going to say?
Severo couldn’t figure out for a moment what he was going to say, but his face looked a little better than before.
Hanging up the phone, he called his assistant directly on the intercom: “Meeting in ten minutes, everyone has to be there.
I was going to meet Allyce at noon and it was best to get everything done while I could.

Noon.
Severo finished his business and waited left and right for Allyce’s call.
Severo did not receive a call from Allyce and had to initiate a call with her.
Severo’s face cleared a little and he said: “You said you wanted to have lunch together, where are you?
“I have to go on a business trip, I’m on the train now, let’s talk when I get back, that’s all for now”.
Allyce finished in a huff and hung up the phone.
Severo looked at the hung up phone with a grimace, could no longer contain himself and turned the phone off with a snap.
Then he got up and went out.

On the other end, Allyce looked at the newly hung up phone and couldn’t help but let out a long sigh of relief.
Today I didn’t have to go on a business trip, but I didn’t want to stay at Cloud Cit.
As there was no rush, he opted to take the train and take his time to reach his destination and calm down.
And she had forgotten Severo’s character; he would not let her go alone.
Even more so, when I was in the middle of the anger process.
It had taken a day by train to reach L City.
And he had just settled into the hotel and had just come out of the bathroom after a shower when he saw Severo sitting on the sofa on the phone doing some business.
She was so shocked that the towel in her hand fell to the ground and she asked, “What are you doing here?
Severo hung up the phone just in time to look at her with raised eyebrows: “What, I shouldn’t have come?
