By the end of the diner, everyone wanted to have tea and talk with Sara Perry some more, but Anika approached Alex’s left ear and whispered:
“Do you want to go for a walk outside? I bet the moons are beautiful tonight.”
“Sure, if you want, we can go for a walk.”
Alex got up and excused himself, leaving with a smiling Mermaid on his arm. Pearl winked at Wenammy and whispered:
“He won’t stand a chance against her. He will try to resist her, but Anika will manage to get him in a bed. What about us? Shall we leave or you want to stay for a little while longer?”
“I want to go to the bedroom with you, but I think I ate too much. Can we stay for a while and then go for a walk in the garden? I won’t be able to do a thing in the bedroom, stuffed as I am!”
Pearl nodded while caressing Wenammy’s thigh under the table. The Princess was happily chatting with Sara Perry, and her lady’s maid was listening to them with a big smile on her face. The King was discussing Sara’s training with Viscount Tom, and Viscount Finley was giving some ideas. A few chairs ahead, Gabriel Dawson was talking with Ghar, and James Macdonald whispered to Bethany Mathews:
“It’s my impression, or lately Gabriel smiles a lot when he is near Ghar?”
“You noticed… Yes, I think he is starting to like her. I am not sure what she thinks of him because she always has that turban hiding her face, but I saw her glancing at him a few times during diner, with a glow in her eyes. Despite being an Orc, Ghar is very sexy and cute, no wonder Gabriel feels attracted by her. I just don’t know what the future may hold for them if they get involved. They will never be free to live out in the open because the moment someone finds out what she is, they will try to kill her. And Gabriel as well, because he is with her. I won’t let anyone kill them because I like them both, and that could also condemn me.”
James Macdonald gently squeezed her left hand:
“Anyone that goes after them and you, will have to get past me first. Perhaps Alex is right and things indeed change if more Orcs arrive and Ghar convinces them not to attack anyone. If more Orcs start living here without attacking a soul, maybe people get used to them.”
“We can only hope, right?”
While James Macdonald and Bethany Mathews were worried about the possible union of a Human and a female Orc, Alex was walking in the back garden with Anika. She looked up to the double moons and said:
“It’s a nice evening. The moons are shining so much and there are so many stars… I wonder if there is a couple like us in a World near one of those stars, looking to our suns and thinking if we are here or not.”
Alex looked at her with a surprised look:
“You are strangely dreamy tonight! What is the occasion?”
“Nothing special, I guess I am a little nervous. It’s already night, and I want to go to your bedroom, but I am not sure if you want my company or not.”
“I would be a fool if I didn’t want, Anika. You are amazingly beautiful, and you already convinced me that you like me, that you don’t want to just have fun and throw me away when you are satisfied.”
Anika leaned her head on Alex’s shoulder and said:
“At least I managed to convince you, that’s good. What about you? Are you going to throw me away after one night?”
“I would never do that, especially because I always dreamed of having a Mermaid at my side. It’s just… you, Pearl, Wenammy, Okami and Shinatobe with me, it still feels like a dream.”
Anika made a slight smile:
“Too many women for you, right? You fear you are not going to be able to manage all of us?”
“Yes, and… There is also a girl that I like, and I don’t know how to handle her… and you all…”
Anika shrugged:
“If she likes you at least half we do, it will be just a matter of you introducing her to us and see what we think of her. Is she pretty, at least?”
“Yes, very. She has blonde hair and the most hypnotizing smile I ever saw. She is very daring and aggressive like you, she can be serious like Pearl, and she can also be cute like Wenammy, with her shyness.”
“I am feeling a bit jealous with the idea of sharing you with another woman, but I think I like her already. When can I meet her?”
Alex went silent for a few seconds, and he then said:
“Not anytime soon, I am afraid. There are some circumstances with her family and what she wants to do with her life that could prevent her from being with me. Time will tell. For now, it would probably be a good idea not to talk about other women with you so near me.”
Anika stopped walking and put both arms on his shoulders and stared at him really close:
“I think the same. I want you to think only about me, tonight. Or what I am going to do to you in the bedroom. Do you have any special request or a fantasy with a Mermaid that you want to fulfil?”
“I already fulfilled one of my fantasies in the swimming pool, when we kissed underwater. Perhaps… you said something about caressing me with your Mermaid’s tail?”
“Oh, you remember… I think I can do that.”
Anika kissed him, and Alex felt her Magic coming from the tip of her tongue into his. He started to feel like if he was deep in the ocean, and when he opened his eyes, he saw those gorgeous light blue eyes staring back at him. Anika stopped the kiss and said:
“You are starting to get used to my Magic. You felt something weird judging by your puzzled look, didn’t you?”
“Not weird, but surprising. It was like if I was in the ocean, and when I opened my eyes and saw you staring at me, I felt a shiver on my spine. I… I don’t know, I guess I thought I was really underwater when I saw your eyes.”
“Interesting… Perhaps I am influencing you way more than I thought. Either that or you are already deeply in love with me. So, you want to have fun with my tail, but what about me? What are you going to do to me?”
Alex turned bright red and gulped:
“I… guess I could try a few things that I learned recently… I am feeling a bit nervous just by thinking about them, but I was told women really like when a man… well… I just hope I don’t make a blunder with my nervousness.”
“It was Shinatobe or Okami that taught you? I am curious about what you learned because judging by their extremely long life, I bet they are very experienced.”
Alex raised a little his left eyebrow:
“Weren’t we supposed not to talk about other women?”
“Oops! Heheheh! You are absolutely right. Shall we continue our walk for a little while longer? It’s such a beautiful night that I want to enjoy it with you.”
“Sure, I also need to walk more, I ate too much. My cook exceeded herself tonight.”
Anika tilted her head:
“Your cook is a woman? I didn’t see her in the kitchen, or did I?”
“She wasn’t there when we went. She is a Lamia that used to work for my father, and she is still here, taking care of all the meals for everyone that lives and works in this Castle. She has a lot of helpers, but she is in charge of everything, and she is one of the few that refuses to call me by my title, mostly because she knows me for quite some time. That, and the fact that she doesn’t like Nobles. I had a lot of trouble to convince her not to poison the food of the Nobles that kept coming here since I became the lord of this Castle.”
“A cook with a mood, that’s funny. You have a lot of interesting people around you, maybe not only because you are too kind, but probably because you make everyone feel comfortable near you. I noticed that the maids and the servants always give you a genuine smile when they see you.”
“Perhaps because I treat them like people, despite which race they are, unlike many Nobles that treat their servants as furniture. Maybe it’s the way the Nobles were raised, or it’s a problem in this society. I wasn’t raised like that, I was always told that every Human is equal. Well, I had to make a few changes in my upbringing, considering I started to deal with a bunch of different Beast-kind and Elfians. Even amongst Beast-kind, there are interesting differences. A Dog-kind is very loyal, a Cat-kind is adventurous and likes to live freely, a Rabbit-kind always has a bad temper, and Lamias are different from one another, with so many quirks and intricacies that it still baffles me how they get along with each other.”
“Well, I also think that Humans are so different from one another that they still seem weird to me. Mermaids are way different. We live in harmony with the ocean and amongst us. There are a few skirmishes with other underwater countries, but we get along better than Humans do with other Humans.”
Alex nodded and noticed that they were again in front of the door that led to the Castle. He looked at Anika and asked:
“Turn around, or bedroom?”
Anika pulled him to the door with a smile:
“Bedroom, without a doubt. The talk is good, but now I am starting to think that I want to hear you moan.”
“Well, I also wonder how you sound…”
They almost ran to Alex’s bedroom, and as he was closing the door, Anika was already removing her clothes. In mere seconds, she was completely naked and helping Alex to take out his clothes, making him have a lot of trouble with her voracious kisses.
She guided him to the bed and laid him on his back with a skilful rotation. She sat on top of his chest and Alex gulped at the sight of her breasts that were just a few centimetres from him. She made a slight smile and said:
“So, what I am going to do to you first… Shall I eat you with kisses and bites, or use my tail? Decisions, decisions…”
Alex suddenly grabbed her arms and rotated her on the bed, being him the one above her and looking down to a surprised Mermaid:
“Maybe it’s better if I start first, or you might exhaust me, and I won’t be able to try anything!”
Anika moved her body a little to get more comfortable and said:
“Very well, I will lay here, waiting to be pleasured! Shall I close my eyes, or can I look at you?”
Alex spoke as he was kissing her bellybutton and going lower:
“I don’t know if you will be able to keep your eyes open for much longer, but you are free to try. If I do something you don’t like, please tell me and I do another thing.”
Anika closed her eyes and when she felt a shiver on her back, she mumbled:
“Oh… This is a nice start…”

In the morning, Alex was looking at the sleeping Anika while caressing her left cheek. She slowly opened her eyes and after focusing her sight on the smile ahead, she said:
“It seems to me that I didn’t sleep, I am so tired… What did you do to me? I remember a few bits here and there, and… see? I tremble when I remember something! Where did you learn how to do all that?”
“Well… weren’t we supposed not to talk about other women? But if you really want to know, it was Shinatobe. She taught me a bunch of things that women like, and Okami taught me a few that I would like.”
Anika caressed his chest and frowned:
“I am still numb in a few places… That was really one heck of a night, I don’t remember being so tired and sore after being with a man. Not that I had many. Despite looking to you as a man-eater, you are in fact the third man that I slept with, in all my life. You said you were nervous as we were walking in the garden, but you had no reason at all. You learned very well… If you are nervous about the night with Pearl and Wenammy, don’t be. If you do to them half the things you did to me, they will go nuts…”
Anika stopped talking and Alex heard her breathing becoming slower and he mumbled:
“She fell asleep again… Well, she can sleep some more, it’s still early… Damn, me and a Mermaid with her beautiful and smooth tail, I would never… And there is still an Elfian and a Fairy… those pointy ears… and those colourful wings… Breath, Alex, breath… focus… control your Magic… that’s it… Ouch, I am also sore…”
