Olivia
I just finished showering. I needed this badly. My face was alright although Stewart slapped me quite hard.
I put on my pajamas and walked out of the room. Blake hadn’t returned yet and was surprised by the bell from the door. It was room service. I opened the door and allowed the bell boy to served my dinner. I saw two portions of them; one of them was for Blake. I thanked him and sat on the chair.
I waited.
I had no idea where Blake went but he was taking care of Stewart. He said he won’t kill him; just wanted to clear the mess he had caused. I didn’t see any other way than killing him to clear his mess.
I knew and sure Blake was not a murderer. I was shocked because it was really Blake who did all of that. But I was thankful because Blake came and saved me. I hadn’t asked him how he knew where I was and where Stewart’s room was. Surely the concierge won’t let him know that easily. Unless he threatened the poor concierge. Oh, right. The bugs.
Thirty minutes have passed and Blake hadn’t come back yet. Maybe I should just eat first until I heard my phone. I went back to my room and I saw Karen’s name on the screen. Oh, God. I needed her now and immediately picked it up.
“Hi, babe! How are you doing?” she asked cheerfully through the phone.
I sighed before I replied, “I’m not…in really good shape, Karen.”
“Why? What’s going on?” I couldn’t contain it anymore as I started to cry. “Oh, God. Olivia, baby. What happened? Tell me.”
Too many had happened during my holiday with Blake in Vegas.
I told her everything.
How I met my real father and how Stewart was a jerk behind his fake kind façade.
Also, about what Blake did behind my back. Everything. Karen was only silent and listening.
“I’m in pretty bad shape, Karen. And in a mess. I don’t know what to do.”
“I know, babe. I’m in shock as well, especially about Stewart. I looked up to him very much. He taught me everything but he’s…like that.” That has to be a big blow to Karen. “I understand he did all of that for his deceased sister but that’s not the way. Not by hurting you, drugging you, and almost raped you just to pissed Blake off. What a fucking loser!” I could tell Karen was disappointed; a lot.
“I really want to announce to the world about him, and the agency but no one will believe me. Our relationship will not be the same anymore.” I agreed with her. “What about Blake?”
“Well, he’s out now. Taking care of his mess.”
“You mean Stewart?”
“Yes.”
“What is he going to do with him?”
“I don’t know. The worst thing I have in my mind is he going to kill him.”
“You’re not serious. I know you are shocked but your father is not a murderer. Even with some mafia blood running in his veins, he is different from them.” I knew that. To me, Blake was the kindest person I had in my life. Merely pity won’t be enough reason for him to adopt me. Even though he made a promise to my mother.
“Perhaps you should talk to him again. Talk when you are calmer and your head is clear. Right now, you are still shocked about everything.”
“I guess so. Maybe I’ll do that in the morning.”
“Do so, dear. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there.” She sounded guilty but that was not Karen’s fault.
“It’s okay, Karen. Have you returned to LA?”
“Yes, and back to work again. I know Stewart is going to Vegas but I never expected him to do that. I hope Blake hit him hard.” I laughed softly at her terrible joke. “Don’t worry, Liv. Everything is going to be alright and listen to him.”
“Thank you, Karen.”
“I’ll be here if you need someone to talk. I’m only a phone call away.”
I sighed. “What am I going to do if I don’t have you?”
“Well, I’m the best friend you ever had.”
“I know you are. I’ll talk to you again later and let you know everything tomorrow.”
“Okay! See you!” And we ended the call.
I wanted to see him again. I headed back to the dining room and he was still not there. I began to worry him and texted him. Asking his whereabouts since the dinner would get cold. I sent the message and I sat back on the chair.
I hoped he wouldn’t do anything crazy. The image of him punching Stewart until his face was all bloody still remained fresh in my mind. His face was precious as a model and Blake just ruined that. He wouldn’t be getting another job for a while.
Later, my phone rang again. I opened it and Blake just replied.
I’m coming home to you now.
My heart jumped out a bit. Why I was feeling like this just by a simple message from Blake? He was my step-father and I shouldn’t be having this kind of feeling to him.
“Blake, what have you done to me?”

Blake
What went wrong?
Did I do something wrong?
I was trying to protect her.
“P-Please…” I watched him as he whimpered in tears. This was the right thing to do. I didn’t do anything wrong. “Please…think about her. You will only…hurt her.” No. He’s wrong. I did the right thing. I did what I need to do for her. For my daughter.
I remained calm.
I did this for many years. For her sakes. I disposed of everyone who hurt her. I harmed them in a very sadistic way so she will be saved. And just like that. No one dared to hurt her anymore. I made sure of it.
“I don’t think I’m going to hurt her, boy. I did this for her. For her safety,” I said as I walked around his body. I stopped behind him as I stomped on his spine. He groaned in pain. Oh, how his pain was music to my ears. That’s right. Feel the pain. Groan more for me.
“P-Please, I didn’t…touch her. I swear to God.”
“Then, what did you do to her until her lips were all bloody, huh?!” I stomped harder as he struggled to get up.
“That…was…”
“What? You better not fucking lie to me or you’re coming out as a corpse if I don’t like your answer.”
“N-No! Please don’t kill me! I swear, I didn’t touch her. I just…slapped her face a bit. That’s it! Please, no more. Have mercy!” That was the only answer I need. It pissed me off. This motherfucker slapped my baby girl. His disgusting hands were on her mouth.
“Please, Mr. Morgan. No more. I won’t tell anyone what happened today. Just…please, let me go,” he begged. Well, he has the point. No one dared to tell anyone what I did to them. He was just the same. Because if he dared to do it, I was going to hunt him down. No matter where he went, I would find him.
I pulled my foot from him and walked around again. Stopping right in front of his face. I gripped his hair and raised his head so he would look at me. I did him good. His face was swollen. Both his eyes had changed color. People would immediately know that he just got beaten up.
For Stewart who worked as a model, his face was his everything. And I just ruined that.
The difference was…
I always hired people to do my dirty works. He was lucky enough to suffer my wrath.
“Actually…I don’t like your answer. Not a bit. But, for her sake, I will let you go.”
“T-Thank you, sir. I’m not going to hurt her anymore. You have my word.” I didn’t need it. Without any words, I pushed his head hard as his face touched the floor. Unconscious in an instant. I looked at my hands and they were tainted by blood. Disgusting.
I pulled out my handkerchief and wiped out all the blood from my hands. My phone rang and pulled it out of my pocket. I smirked at the message.
Where the hell are you? The dinner is getting cold.
My sweet Olivia. She cared so much about me. She fucked me up so bad. I shouldn’t be doing this to an underage girl. And the right thing that I could do to her…was only watching her over from afar. Like a guardian angel. But I was far away from an angel.
I was her guardian devil.
Watching her in the shadow.
And I typed, I’m coming home to you now.
And then I walked out of the basement together with the brat who almost got himself killed.
When I walked out while pulling his body with him, I saw John was there. Leaning his back in his car. “Thank you for coming in a short notice,” I said but he smirked at me. Asshole.
John was not pleased with this but he did it in the end. He was pissed when I told him Olivia got drugged and almost got raped by his model boy.
He went to me and his eyes fixed on Stewart. “What a disgrace. Embarrassing my nation,” he spewed. Well, both of them came from Australia. But…
“Is that the only reason for you being pissed at him?” I teased and he looked back at me.
“What do you mean, sir?” Oh, he knew what I meant and he understood that. He was just too stubborn to admit it but I was not a fool. I knew what happened to him and just for now, I would not force him to spill the bean.
“What do you want me to do with him?” he asked.
“Send him to the hospital back in LA. Tell the agency that he will be indisposed for a couple of weeks because he was involved in some fights with me.”
John smirked. “You are indeed a son of a bitch. He would lose all of his jobs because of that.”
“I don’t fucking care. That’s the price he needs to pay for almost touching my daughter. He should consider himself lucky because I let him out for a merely bloody face and not a corpse.”
“Indeed, he is.” He picked Stewart up and threw him into his car. Like he was nothing. He turned to me. “Take care of Olivia, sir.”
“I will. And, John?”
“Yeah?”
“If you want to add more souvenir on his face, you are welcome to do so,” I said and he laughed.
“Maybe I will if he dirtied my car.” John headed to his door and began to drove away. It was time for me to go home.
Back to my lovely daughter.
