He quickly grabbed up the cup on the coffee table and placed it in front of my mouth. I cast a sidelong glance at him and grabbed for the cup. I was already parched.
“Better?”
“It’s okay, you can’t make me angry!” I pretended to move the body, stood up and walked, and said.
Ryan Campbell then vaguely recognized I was pretending, asking, “Are you more annoying or am I more irritating?”
“You!”
Ryan Campbell didn’t even try to dispute with me. He simply said, “In the future, I will send someone to follow you surreptitiously. You’d best be honest and if I find you doing work part-time, you won’t be as lucky as today.”
“Just taking shots, I’m not exhausted, and can make money. If I just stayed at home I would be extremely bored!” I was unsatisfied and grimaced.
“Even if you’re boring , you must stay at home! Don’t even consider working part-time.”
“You…”
“Are you still disobedient?”
I stormed out of the office, furious, but he didn’t chase me out.
When the elevator arrived on the first floor, I was still concerned that my wages had not been paid for the morning work, but I couldn’t go to work in the future, and I couldn’t explain this to Lee.
I was worried about what I would do in the future, a girl suddenly appeared in front of me, “Madam, the president just called and asked you to wait for him downstairs,” a girl said abruptly.
“You inform him that I had something urgent to deal with and I left first.”
“Please don’t make us difficult, madam. We can only do what the president instructs us to do.”
“You listen to him. At home, he should follow me. If he causes you problems later, you can notify me and I will go back and deal with him.” Since hee isn’t here right now. I can do anything I want.
The embarrassed assistant grinned and replied, “Please wait for a little more while, Madam. The president should come soon.”
“But I have to get going now!” I was walking swiftly towards the door when I was stopped again.
“If you don’t let me go, Ryan Campbell will fire you later!” I shouted vehemently.
“Madam… we are only listening to arrangement of our seniors, so please do not humiliate us.”
Soon after,
“What are you running so fast for? ” Ryan Campbell clasped my hand in his.
I shook his hand furiously and walked in front of him.
“Stay right here, I’ll drive!” He screamed at me.
I moved forward a few steps. Even though I didn’t look back, I came to a halt on the side of the road. When I walked home, it would be so cold that I would turn like a snowman. I had to pay money on a taxi ride. Even If I was angry , I couldn’t waste money.
I wait obediently and wait for him to bring the car, but I didn’t say anything to him the entire time.
He made lunch after sending me back, and I sat on the sofa and watched TV, unwilling to interact with others.
Ryan Campbell was uneasy as well, so he asked at supper, “Why don’t we return to our old home to live? When I go to work, at least someone will talk to you.”
When I first heard this, I quickly dismissed it “No! I don’t want anyone to approach me!”
I’m scared going back to face his family will make my life even more difficult.
Staying at home alone is idle, but it is at least comfortable.
If I live in his home, I’ll have to pretend to be a loving pair with him all the time. In two days, I believe I shall go insane.
“Well, stay at home by yourself, think about any places you want to go, and I will take you there when I am free,” Ryan Campbell said.
“Come on, you don’t need to care about me.”
Ryan Campbell could tell by my tone that I was grumbling about him in my heart, and he responded enthusiastically, “I did this for your benefit. Be cautious since you’re pregnant. It is you who will suffer if you do not get enough rest.”
Of course I know this, but I’m more worried that the baby will suffer with me when he is born, therefore I’d like to make more money by working now.
I was obedient and didn’t go out for the next three days, but I didn’t want to talk to him. Although I did not hide from him, I simply took him as air,. When I got home at night, I would focus on watching TV, and I did not want to talk with him. He asked me to go to bed. I would go upstairs obediently, but I never said anything to him.
He almost never opens his mouth, preferring to keep himself stuffy.
Ryan Campbell’s point of view
If things continue like this, I’m afraid something bad will happen. It’s more troublesome if she got depression while pregnant.
I told her to take her out to play, but she rejected me. I was completely helpless since she was so stubborn.
I am a little distracted with my works.
While looking through the meeting’s summary documents, Jeffrey Scott looked at Ryan Campbell, who was sitting at his desk in a daze, and said, “Ryan, are you quarreling with young sister-in-law once more? You’re acting peculiar these days. You were not always like this.”
I gave him a sidelong glance before asking, “What activities do you think 20-year-old girls enjoy?”
“What’s wrong? Do you have a generation difference with younger sister-in-law?”
“Shall I ask you or you ask me?” I inquired coldly, glaring at Jeffrey Scott.
Jeffrey Scott was speechless and pursed his mouth, “If you want my opinion, this type of young lady is the easiest to be coaxed. You simply have insufficient conversation and contact with girls, and your tone is harsh. Girls appreciate beautiful words. Maybe sister-in-law will like you if you adjust your persona.”
Sweet talk? I frown. If I say nice things, she’ll probably roll her eyes and scold me for being sick.
“I asked as to what hobbies does she have!”
“Don’t be so ferocious? Young people enjoy playing in public places such as KTV pubs.”
“Doesn’t there seem to be any activity not dirty?”
“Hey, Ryan, why is the KTV bar dirty?”
” I feel bad for taking her to those places. Furthermore, she is a pregnant woman. ”
“Then you may take her out for a tour and go about,” Jeffrey Scott pondered again.
“What if she refuses to go out with me?”
Jeffrey Scott was taken aback, then glanced at me suspiciously and questioned, “Ryan, does my little sister-in-law despise you in particular? Is she refusing to stay with you?”
He was right , my face darkened instantly.
“Ryan, you’ve been married for months now. You can’t handle a twenty-year-old girl?”
This sense of being questioned is dreadful, and it is unbearable for a man with a strong heart like me.
I lied, “She is excellent. I just want to have some fun with her. I’m at a loss for where to go.”
“That is easy. It is beneficial for you to make your own decisions. Girls prefer men with his own minds. She will be pleased if you buy your plane ticket and tell her when you plan to go.”
I was even sad, but also happiness; that woman hasn’t looked at me in several days; I’ve began to doubt my allure. There are so many women like me, why is she uninterested in me at all?
The thought irritates me greatly.
“But what if I don’t have enough time to go out with her?”
“How can you wish to accompany your wife while also earning money?”
“I simply want to find somewhere for her to kill time and not be so dull.”
When Jeffrey Scott heard this, he laughed and added, “You’re looking for a nursery for your daughter!”
This phrase pierced my heart and I whispered, “It’s a good idea.”
Jeffrey Scott was taken aback “Huh? Is it true that you send sister-in-law to the nursery?”
“So why not? Simply transfer her to an older nursery. You may deliver materials all of the nearby universities.”
Jeffrey Scott asked, “You send sister-in-law to school?”
“Have a problem?” I asked, glaring at him.
She should have stayed in school at her age. It makes no difference if she can learn anything. She should be exposed to fresh experiences to compensate for her regret that she did not complete her degree.
I can’t wait to tell her about my idea since I believe she will be overjoyed. After all, this is her heartfelt regret

I sat beside the piano and sat in a daze when I got bored of playing.
When I’m bored, I always imagine what the future would be like. However, every time I think about it, I can’t figure out the outcome.
I have to face it, for better or worse.
Then my phone rang, and the only person who answered was Ryan Campbell.
I was not looking forward to it. Instead, I sat for two seconds before standing up slowly, picking up my phone, and connecting it. “Why?” I became agitated.
Ryan Campbell, on the other end, stated unequivocally, “Go change your clothing now. In five minutes, the driver will be waiting for you downstairs.”
“Where? I don’t want to go anywhere.”
“Just come; be obedient; and dress warmly because it is chilly outside.”
I didn’t bother going outside because it was cold, but he hung up before I could ask any more questions.
I shuddered when I walked out on the balcony in my pajamas.
I had been there for a long time when I noticed a black sedan gently parking downstairs. Only then did I understand that Ryan Campbell’s driver had arrived.
I dashed back home and changed my clothing. I went downstairs wearing a large down jacket before I could comb my hair.
I didn’t inquire about the destination after boarding. I simply gazed out the window at the street vista. The automobile moved gently and smoothly. I didn’t feel much and went downstairs to be with him. The driver added, after blinking, “Mr. Campbell is waiting for you in the office. Just go straight up, Madam.”
“What’s the problem?” I wondered.
“Mr. Campbell did not say tell me, madam, please walk up and speak to Mr. Campbell yourself.”
I walked into the elevator, my hands in the warm pockets of my down jacket, not knowing what tricks he was going to perform.
I arrived two minutes later in front of his workplace.
I drilled in after opening a crack with my shoulder because I didn’t bother to reach out and knock the door .
Ryan Campbell sat at his desk, staring at me. “You’re becoming more impolite.”
“Cold,” I just muttered.
Ryan Campbell took the remote and cranked up the heat, then ordered the assistant to prepare hot water, took the college campus documents prepared by Jeffrey Scott, sat on the sofa, looked at me across the room, and asked, “Do you want to go to school?”
My entire body froze , I went to school? I’ve considered that, but it’s not going to happen anytime soon. At the very least, once the child is born and my economy status is stable, I will think about academic degrees. After all, my current financial situation is not promising.
” Should you go or not?”
Ryan Campbell knew it had to be right after seeing me so astonished .
