He had been coming to stay with her in the hospital more frequently till she was finally discharged and even escorted her to her dad’s place. When he wasn’t at work, he would make plans to take her out on dates to anywhere she picked anywhere he would like to show her.
She didn’t travel much because she wasn’t a fan of it when she was younger but with Dimitri, anywhere in the world she’ll go, so far, he is there with her, holding her hands and showering her with so much love.
It was like they were still courting before getting engaged and getting married. They felt like first-time lovers over again, he told her that he will keep winning her over forever and they would have the time of their life. Just like two teenagers learning how to love, care and express their feeling for each other.
It was fun, growing again and becoming better.
Their parents were happy that they were able to sort out their feelings for each other and learn to grow in their newfound love.
They talked about what they were able to find out to put Daniella in her place so she stops messing with people and their lives.
Dimitri also informed her about the man that caused her that elevator trauma… he was identified as Dickson Sawyer and he was the one who kidnapped her. He is the step-father to Daniella and they did dirty to a lot of people.
He was found dead in that place she was kept from drug overdose and was buried days later but it was remaining Daniella to be put behind bars.
He told her that it would be soon and they can live ‘Daniella free’ forever.
It was a week ago he assured her of that and he has great news for her, so he left work around 5 pm and grabbed some flowers for her with the great news he had for her.
When he came to her parent’s house, her mother invited him and told him that she was in the garden so he went to meet her and saw her there, looking up at the sky as it showed that it will rain soon.
“Everything good?” he asked and she turned around sharply as she was startled by his voice from behind her.
“Miguel, you scared me” she placed her palm on her chest and chuckled then walked up to him to hug him.
He carried her and swirled her around then put her down and gave her the flowers which she loved before they shared a kiss.
“I missed you,” she said with her arms around his torso and he was around her body with his chin resting on her head.
“Me too, I want to take you home today, we are going home baby,” he said and she leaned back to look at him then giggled and tiptoed to kiss him.
“I am glad” she whispered.
“Me too, but first… we are Daniella free, she is back at the institute and although I hope she heals properly and stops holding to things that are impossible I am happy that my family can be safe without having to look behind for fear of what is coming for them”
“Me too Miguel”
He looked deep into her eyes and smiled.
“I love you to the moon and back, I love your love, I love your care, I love your smile, I love your heart” he began as stroked her cheeks which had gone warm.
“I love your peace, I love your joy, I love everything about you and I love you. You have been the best that has ever happened to me, I have never thought that I would meet a woman as beautiful, kindhearted, loving, breathtaking, caring, selfless… I could make a list” he chuckled and so did she.
“You bring peace to me, joy, happiness, even though you have a sharp mouth” he wriggled his brows and she threw him a playful glare.
“If peace of mind meant loving you for the rest of my life then I want peace of mind. If there would be a second world, I want you as my wife, my friend, my companion, a partner in crime, my everything…” he said and a tear rolled down her eyes as she tries to keep it all in.
“I bless GOD every day for bringing you into my life and giving me hope in loving a beautiful soul and I do pray that we stay together forever, tell silly jokes, make fun of each other, be there for each other, even when life throws mud at us, we will stand together and wash them off ourselves and grow stronger”
She grinned and couldn’t keep the tears from falling down her cheeks as he said those sweet words to her.
“I love you and I pray for more good tidings filled with love, goodness, and beauty for the rest of our lives,” he said and she let out a sob then wrapped her arms around his neck with his going around her waist.
After a moment, they pulled away and she held his hands in hers.
“Thank you so much and you have said all. We started off on a bad foot but look how far we’ve come together, with all your arrogance that has been tamed, your love, the support you gave to me. It is awesome and I am glad I met with you”
“I love you forever and always Miguel” she hugged him again and he smiled.
“Now let’s get inside so we don’t get soaked by this rain,” he said to her and she nods then he carried her and she let out a squeal then wrapped her arms around his neck for support.
“You look so beautiful”
“And you look so handsome,” she said and pecked his lips.
As they made their way inside the house, they went past the kitchen and stopped in their track just as Moana pushed Kingsley and tried to adjust her hair and dress that rode up from him lifting it up.
A blush could be seen on her cheeks down to her neck as she tries to get busy with something with her hands shaking and legs trembling from her husband’s effect on her.
“You kids are leaving now?” Kingsley asked not looking fazed by him and his wife being cozy. It was their thing, children or no children, it will remain their thing.
“Want us out already?” Audriana asked when Dimitri put her down.
“You wouldn’t know” he muttered and earned a glare from his wife but he just shrugged.
“We are leaving already sir,” Dimitri said and grabbed Audriana’s hand then began heading for the door. “We will come back for her remaining clothes later,” he said over his shoulder and they walked out of the house to his car so that they could go home.

They all decided on taking a family vacation after a really long time and they all agreed on Madrid as their vacation home.
Dimitri’s parents stayed in their house in Madrid with Audriana’s parents, Caleb and Emily, Aiden, Sofia and Max, and Michelle who agreed because she didn’t get to meet Cade’s parents properly but will get to spend time with them too.
Aiden kept her busy with his infamous jokes and teasing and she would glare playfully at him when he makes fun of her height.
Dimitri and Audriana stayed in the ‘Small Paradise’ and they would come together in the morning to have fun, talk, and go to many places then retire for the day when they are tired and needed rest.
It was week two into their vacation and they all gathered at the yacht Cade and Dimitri bought when Cade finished school for their family to have get-togethers and have fun together.
Everyone looked so happy and cheerful but they did make a toast to Cade and blessed his soul.
It was emotional for them all, but they were happy that they had good memories with him when he was alive.
“So, did you tell Dimitri that we dated in the past?” Audriana asked Aiden when he came to sit beside her.
“Not actually but I just hinted at him,” he told her and she chuckled.
“You very much know th-”
“I know, but it feels good to actually say that to him when he feels like being annoying. It’s a great thing to have an upper arm when it comes to my dear best friend” he explained to her and she nods her head.
“So, I shouldn’t tell him?”
“No, let him keep assuming. I want that leverage on him please” he begged and she paused as she tapped her chin I thought.
“Okay, only if you promise to be soft on him”
“Anything for you darling,” he said and held her hand.
“I think my wife needs to stay with me now. Time out for you dude” Dimitri came up to them and pulled Aiden from beside Audriana while they both laughed.
“See you around lovely”
“I call her that alone” Dimitri’s mouth twisted in distaste and Audriana rest her head on his shoulder and rubbed his biceps.
“Don’t worry too much about him, I am here with you okay?”
“Yeah, he should go to his secret woman”
“Yeah a beautiful secret woman”
“He told you”
“He said it like a child,” she told him and they laughed at the watch how joyful and at peace everyone was as they enjoyed the brunch they organized for the whole family.
“I like how everyone looks so happy and at peace” he whispered to her and she smiled then kissed his cheek and rest her head on his shoulder while his arm went around her
“Me too, it gives me joy and peace that I can see the beautiful ambiance of my family having fun and aren’t worried about anything at all,” she told him and he smiled then he rests the side of his face on her head.
“This has been an awesome journey Miguel and I am glad it was you I walked this journey with… if I were to start over, then I would choose you over and over again” she told him and he chuckled.
“I am glad that the feelings are mutual, I love you so much Loveth”
“I love you too, Miguel” she responded and snuggled closer to him.
