The morning in Jiulonggou is very different from Hounslow.
Amelia Bright was woken up at 7am by the sound of birds chirping outside her window, and opened her eyes only after lazily rolling over and finding no one around her.
“Farren … husband … I’m thirsty.”
When she didn’t hear a response, she had to fend for herself and went out of the bedroom to see that there was no one outside either. There was a breakfast ordered from the hotel on the table, still hot, with a note pressed under the plate.
“An An is awake early, I’ll take An An out for a walk, remember to eat breakfast when you wake up.”
See the handwriting is not yet dry, the two people probably just left not long ago.
Amelia Bright stretched a lazy back, a butt in front of the dining table sat down, face also did not wash teeth also do not brush very comfortable to eat breakfast.
Outside the windowsill rested a blue-gray bird, cocking its head to survey the inside of the house, as if curious.
Amelia Bright grabbed the remaining half of the bread and went out, gingerly, fearing to scare her.
This bird is bold, have come close, not half to fly away, but a curious face to stare at the bread in Amelia Bright’s hand.
“You’re really bold, and I’m surprised no one has taken you away.”
Amelia Bright smiles, breaks the bread and spills it on the iron table on the balcony, greeting the birds.
This bird is also nonchalant, fluttered two wings, really flew over to peck the bread crumbs, eat cheerfully.
Most of the scenic spots in Jiulonggou are protected animals, and there are many rare birds of all kinds. Previously, when Amelia Bright was learning to spot cui, she recognized many birds, but this was the first time she saw it, and she forgot to take her phone out, so it was not a good search.
“Just call you a little dorky bird.”
She was so happy feeding herself that she didn’t notice that a figure on the next balcony had been watching her for a long time.
“Jojo.”
The man’s voice came from next door, and at the same time, as if hearing a call, the little blue-gray bird took a big bite of crumbled bread and flew away with a flutter of wings.
Amelia Bright was startled and looked after its flight path to see it flying to the next balcony and landing steadily on a man’s shoulder.
The fog is heavy in the mountains, and at 7:00 a. m. the fog hasn’t completely lifted, so for a while I couldn’t see the person on the balcony next door clearly, only that it was a man, wearing a hotel robe, who seemed to be painting.
“Miss Bright.”
The familiar voice fell through the fog and landed in Amelia Bright’s ears, she froze, feeling familiar for a moment before remembering, “Is that … Mr. Han?”
“It’s me.”
It just so happens that the wind blew, the fog dispersed some, revealing the man’s clear figure.
“Good morning,” Amelia Bright greeted with a smile at first, but then thought about what happened yesterday and
“Mr. Han, do you live next door?”
“It was too late last night, so I stayed here and asked my assistant to send my luggage over, but it hasn’t arrived yet, so I can only come out in my pajamas, sorry.”
“Nothing, nothing,” Amelia Bright smiled, “You have that bird?”
On Sun Huck’s shoulder stood the blue-gray bird just now, very intimate looking.
“Yes, bothering you?”
“No, I was just wondering how there are such birds that are not afraid of people in the scenic area, but it turns out that they have owners.”
“Jojo is also hate alert to the general outsiders, even my daughter usually can not approach her, it is not afraid of Miss Bright, I am also a little surprised, maybe it is fate.”
“Yeah?” Amelia Bright walked to the edge of the balcony, with only a safe distance of a meter or so between her and the next balcony, originally to get a better look at the bird, but she didn’t expect to catch a glimpse of the drawing board in front of Sun Huck.
“Mr. Han, you’re painting landscapes, you’re a painter?”
“Businessman, just opened two galleries in H. Amateur, not a painter.”
“It’s a good drawing.”
Amelia Bright’s comment is in no way a compliment. Sun Huck’s paintings are landscapes with ink splashes, which cannot be painted with such a mood without a few years of experience.
“Just missing something, is Mr. Han not in a good mood lately?”
Ink painting is the best way to see a person’s state of mind. A painting with an open mind is naturally open, while a painting with a stifled mind is naturally less transparent.
Sun Huck doesn’t deny it, “It’s a little bit, business things are not going well, but it’s not a big deal.”
As he spoke, there seemed to be a knock on the door next door, and Sun Huck glanced inside, “Excuse me, I think my assistant brought my luggage over.”
“It’s okay, you get busy.”
“Miss Bright, if you don’t mind, wait for me to change my clothes and have a breakfast together downstairs.”
Amelia Bright hesitated for a moment, “Good.”
Although she had breakfast, but yesterday the people soiled their clothes, this thing has not passed, plus last night Sun Huck took them to the panda house, one after another, but it is a favor, it is not good to refuse the invitation.
She also went back to the house to change her clothes, put on light make-up, carried a small round wicker bag, and went out with only her cell phone.
It is the time to eat breakfast, downstairs in the cafe a lot of people, but the location between the various card seats far apart, but also quite quiet.
“I drink American, where’s Miss Bright?”
“A latte, please.”
She wasn’t hungry, so she only ordered a cup of coffee.
Not long after, in addition to coffee, the waiter brought over a plate of Tiramis Paisley.
“I heard from a friend that this Tiramis Paisley is delicious, so I suggested Miss Bright to try it too.”
“You’ve taken the trouble,” Amelia Bright was a little embarrassed, “I actually just had breakfast in my room, and I’m a little too full to eat right now.”
“Well, that’s not too much of a coincidence, and it came highly recommended by my friend.”
Seeing that Sun Huck seemed a little disappointed, Amelia Bright was even more upset, “It’s okay, it’s just a small piece of dessert, take your time and eat it.”
Sun Huck smiled, “No need to push it, Miss Bright is such a good-tempered person.”
Amelia Bright was noncommittal, but with some emotions in her heart.
She used to be very bad-tempered, almost thirty years has never been praised for her good temper, that is, these years her family suddenly met with a change, life has been such a sea change, had to smooth out all the edges, and the world shake hands and say goodbye.
“This dessert, just have the waiter pack it up later and take it back to An An. Little girls love cake, and so does my daughter.”
“Oh yes, Mr. Han’s daughter is five years old, right? That Mr. Han got married quite early, hey,”
“Well, married shortly after graduation, the marriage arranged by the family, but not as good-tempered as Miss Bright.”
“I used to be bad-tempered, and I still am. It’s hard to live a life without stumbling,” says Amelia Bright, who doesn’t like to discuss other people’s family matters with people she doesn’t know very well, and the topic is a little uncomfortable for her.
“That’s true, my wife took a pretty good picture of my daughter Chambers, and I’m quite content with that, by the way this is a picture of my daughter,” Sun Huck said, flipping open his phone and handing the picture to Amelia Bright.
“My daughter, Lucy Han.”
