When Jeric’s sunglasses were removed, the other werewolves gasped.
Eden was so astonished that shook his head, unable to confront the truth.
“Yes! What’s the joke, Daina? How can Jeric return? ”
“Hello, everyone. I’m Jeric Bairi, the brother of the late Alpha Daniell. I apologize for my lengthy absence. Thank you for keeping the Moonlight Pack secure all these years.”Jeric strode boldly into the throng and smiled at the elders.
An elder knew Jeric immediately and wiped his eye.”This is very fantastic news. Daniell, how are you doing in heaven? You’re missed.”
An elder with optimistic eyes approached Jeric.
“Of course I remember you. You were my father’s right-hand man. I was fortunate enough to be carried by you when I was a youngster. It’s been so long since I saw you, yet you still seem so powerful.”
“Jeric is the successor to our original Alpha. Eden is only a Beta who filled in for him. Now that Jeric is here, he should stand down.”
“We’ll all back Jeric to retake his position as Alpha of our Moonlight Pack. I think he’ll rule well.”
“Jeric is Daniell’s brother, thus he’ll be a great leader.”
Almost all seniors present backed Jeric.
My uncle grinned triumphantly among them.
At this moment, I was the happiest person in the world.
Finally avenging my father’s murder, I wanted to explore what other tricks Eden had up his sleeve.
POV: Daina
I begged Stephan Buther for aid after watching Eden collapse.
He took the banquet hall’s uppermost seat. Jeric and Teddy met Stephan Buther.
“Eden killed my brother Daniell and took Alpha 10 years ago. The proof is irrefutable,”
I growled at Eden, who killed my father and separated me from my uncle for years.
Stephan Buther brightened my world.
Teddy: “Eden slaughtered my family and has been pursuing me since. He’s a killer.”
“We formerly served Alpha Daniell. We can witness that Eden murdered him. We couldn’t reveal the truth because Eder is harsh and vicious. His capacity to kill without a second thought scared us.”
Many elders testified against Edenr. Eden looked like every word pained him physically.
I condemn Eder to death. He will be executed in three days.
“Eden has been punished. Our pack may now regain its former grandeur. Thanks, Mr. Stephan Buther!”
Daina’s pov
Maria ran to Stephan Buther and kneeled down.
“Mr. Stephan Buther, please spare my father! Daina is framing him! You are clever enough to know the truth. Don’t accept Daina’s foolishness. She’s lying.”
Did she believe she could rescue her father by making a scene? I still owed her.
“Stephan Buther, Maria is the liar. she set up traps for me and attempted to murder me several times so that Eden could retain his position of Alpha. Maria is as ruthless as her father. Please search out the truth and put her to justice.”
“You slandered my father, and now you’re attempting to frame me? You terrible, disgusting woman!”
“I’ll rip your mouth out!”Maria was so enraged that turned her right hand into a wolf’s claw and swiped my neck.
“If I die, you’re coming!”
Maria attacked quickly, and my pupils shrank.
Stephan Buther’s viewpoint:
Maria ruined my banquet plans.
I protected Daina when Maria went mad.
Maria swiped her claw at Daina’s neck as I went to stop her.
“Go to hell, bitch!” Maria roared.
Her wolf claw hit my shoulder, not Daina.
Daina and I fell backward.
Maria’s assault hurt my shoulder.
“StephanButher!”Daina yelled and cried.
I knew she cared for me, so I feared being unable to defend her.
I felt safe as long as Daina was okay.
Maria deserves it.
I grabbed Maria’s claw and broke her wrist.
For her crimes against Daina and me, I condemn Maria to life in prison.
Maria resisted and wept as she was dragged away after I finished speaking.
“Daina! You’ll pay. ”
As Daina was carried away, Maria cursed.
My threat awakened Maria. Under my gaze, she shut up.
Eden has been Alpha for a decade. He must have trained these werewolves.
With one arm around Daina, I pulled a gun to fight.
I stroke Daina’s shoulder and say, “Watch your back.”
She surprised me by drawing a knife and charging Eden’s troops.
I went after Daina and shot at the attacking werewolves.
My shooting and quickness were usually excellent.
I knew I could handle these werewolves.
Three gunshots struck two werewolves in the head.
They collapsed.
The third werewolf was armshot.
He growled, transformed into a wolf, and charged me.
“Mr. Buther!”
Jeric battled the werewolf for me as a wolf. Jeric’s strength made me worry-free.
Banquet hall pandemonium.
The floor was soaked with blood when Eden’s soldiers were outnumbered.
Daina and I fought well together.
Jeric fought bravely.
“Thanks, Mr. Buther, for rescuing us all.”
Elders swiftly approached us after escaping death.
They cleaned their foreheads and thanked me again.
POV: Daina
Eder was killed by his subordinates.
Maria was also imprisoned.
I stood in the hall and stroked my father’s calligraphy while crying.
I’d waited 10 years for this.
Jeric went up and embraced me.
We cuddled. Applause erupted.
The elders gathered to support my uncle.
“When will Jeric become Alpha? We’re responsible for the succession ceremony. It will be better than Edenr’s since you have our pack’s backing.”
Smiled Almond.
Everyone excitedly discussed the succession ceremony.
“I’ve got news.”
Jeric grabbed Dason’s hand.
“I’ve discovered my partner, and her name is Dason. may be my Luna at the succession ritual.”
After a minute of silence, the elders applauded Dason’s declaration.
“Jeric, you’re matched! Wow! Congratulations! ”
“Our new Alpha and male Luna are married.”
POV: Jeric
Eden got what he deserved, so my niece and I could relax.
With support from elders, I was able to handle pack business.
“Thanks to the elders’ aid, I was able to learn about the Moonlight Pack quickly.
I bowed to elders. When I thanked them, they cried.
If I can cooperate with the elders like this, the Moonlight Pack will flourish.
I needed their consent first.
I was humble, courteous, and knew when to give credit.
Everyone regarded me favorably.
Three days rapidly passed.
Before leaving with her, I observed a shocking figure among the throng.
Familiar figure.
Dason inquired as I paused, “Problem?”
