Third person’s point of view.
(Three days later) (At the border of Dancer’s-Elves-Clan)
“Ingrid, you can’t leave the clan, it’s gonna be a disaster if your father finds out and besides, it’s too dangerous now that all supernatural creatures are on lockdown” Mitch (one of Ingrid’s minions) advised Ingrid.
“I have to” Ingrid replied. “I haven’t heard from him since he promised to help me get back at Ara, I need to know what’s going on and be sure if he’s still gonna help me”
“But you said you didn’t even show himself to you, how are you gonna summon him? And how are you even gonna know he’s the one?”
“I… I… I will know what to do when I see him”
Mitch shook her head in disagreement and reached for Ingrid’s hands, but Ingrid withdrew her hands as she took two steps away from Mitch.
“Ingrid, tonight’s the battle and going out now would be too dangerous, what if you run into something…”
Ingrid raised her hand and cut Mitch off, she crossed the line marking the end of their clan -their clan’s boundary.
“I’ve made up my mind, I must get answers today, I would get back at Ara myself if he goes back on his words and doesn’t wanna help anymore” she said seriously, glaring at Mitch but in her mind she’s actually glaring at Ara.
“Then what about your father?”
“You know what to tell him”
“Ingrid, sorry for saying this, but you don’t have any valid reason for venturing out today” Mitch said.
“To you it’s not a valid reason, because you weren’t the one that was humiliated and locked up in a dirty cell” then Ingrid rushed off.

(Outside evergreen pack_Cave)
Drake balled his fist and clenched his jaw as he watched the masked man mixing some chemicals, he averted his gaze from the masked man and let his eyes settle on a group of newly created creatures.
His eyes wandered around until they landed on a group of pups and teenagers, they were chained against each other, with very thick chains that maybe only acid could break -that’s if there isn’t a key.
They all looked so scared, dehydrated and starved -after all, they’ve been kept here for many days.
His eyes zeroed on a little boy who was shaking as if he’s having a fever, he took a closer look at the boy and his mind quickly flashed back to a very close friend of his -from evergreen pack two years ago.
Drake gritted his teeth as he felt a gush of anger seeped through his veins, he turned back and stormed towards the masked man.
“What the hell are you doing? For fuçk sake, do you really have to do this? What would be your gain for doing all these?” he asked.
As if Drake didn’t say anything, the masked man ignored him and continued mixing his chemicals.
His reaction wasn’t what Drake was expecting at all, this made him angrier, he grabbed a few bottles of chemicals and threw them across the room.
“These kids are innocent and they shouldn’t be used for your practicals or whatsoever!” he gritted his teeth at the masked man’s silence. “You’re wasting their lives, besides, I didn’t agree to us taking kids lives -I have told you already, I just want my Ara back”
The masked man turned on his chair and faced Drake, he waved a finger as he shook his head.
“Point of correction, I’m not taking their lives” he said.
“Oh, really? Then what does all this mean?” he asked, gesturing towards the strange creatures.
The masked man got up and walked towards his creations, he inspected them one after the other and nodded approvingly with a proud smirk.
“I’m transforming them into a new, better, bigger and more powerful version of themselves, what I’m doing is recreation -i’m giving them new lives”
“That’s bullshît!” Drake growled. “Then why do they always die five days after your recreation?”
“Er… I’m working on that” the masked man pointed at the chemicals he was mixing. “I’ll soon make some perfect ones”
Drake narrowed his eyes at him, his chest rise and fall in great anger.
“You’re sick in the head, thinking about it now, I don’t think you’re even my father!”
The masked man laughed at Drake’s words.
“You can think whatever you want, that’s your business and I won’t interrupt it, so, don’t interrupt mine” he said and headed towards the chemicals to continue his work.
“I won’t let you hurt any of these kids, you’re crazy!” Drake said.
He rushed over to the children, but he wasn’t able to unchain even one before the masked man snapped his fingers, and Drake was lifted off the ground and thrown across the room.
Drake’s back hit the wall and loud crack was heard accompanied by a very painful grunt.
The masked man reached for a whistle in his pocket, one of his creations walked towards Drake who was struggling to get back on his feet, and grabbed him by his neck with its blade-like arms.
Drake groaned loudly as he struggled to get away from its grip, but he couldn’t since he’s already too weak, the strange creature bashed Drake’s head on the causing Drake to pass out immediately.
It let go of Drake’s limp body, the children cowered and screamed in great fear when they saw Drake laying unconsciously on the ground, the teenagers quickly covered little pups’s eyes.
Shortly after the creature also fell down and died, letting out some green foams off its mouth.
“Ah” the masked man shook his head. “There’s only a few time left, I should do something about them not dying after a fight”
He looked at the children, who in turn cowered away from his eyes.
“I shouldn’t let such powerful creatures die easily” then he released a very loud laugh and walked towards his chemicals.

(Outside wizardry forest)
Ingrid’s finally made it to the wizardry forest, she stared at it with a smile and sighed in contentment.
“How do I even summon him?” she questioned herself, but shrugged. “I’ll figure that out later” she concluded.
Meanwhile, a young boy was watching her from a distance, he quickly called her just as she was about entering the forest.
“Hey, you, elf!” he called her.
She turned around and saw a boy in his teens, he wore a black ripped off jean pant and a white t-shirt and white sneakers, his black hair was comped back -he’s got a playboy’s demeanour.
“Where are you going?” he asked.
His eyes moved towards the dark forest behind Ingrid and he scoffed.
“Don’t tell me you’re going in there” he said. “Everyone is on lockdown and you’re supposed to be in your clan for safety reasons, what are you doing here?”
“Mind your business!” she snapped at him and made to continue, but he got a grip on her right hand.
“You can’t go in there, the battle will start soon and it might be too late for you later”
She shrugged him off and glared at him.
“I said mind your business!” she growled. “Who are you anyway? And what are you doing here too?” she sniffed the air. “You’re a werewolf, shouldn’t you be in your pack too?”
“I’m Arthur Humphrey since you’re begging to know my name”
Ingrid frowned when he mentioned *Humphrey*, she took a closer look and tried to compare Arthur’s appearance with Ara’s, she indeed noticed their resemblance.
“… and my pack isn’t far from the wizardry forest, so it’s normal to see me lurking around here unlike you” he paused.
He sniffed the air and narrowed his eyes at her when he perceived a fowl smell in the air.
“I can perceive trouble in the air, you better head back to your clan now or some beasts would meet you here and bite off your extra flesh ears” he pointed at her long ears.
Ingrid glared at him.
“It’s none of your business, run along little boy”
Arthur nodded.
“Of course I’ll run along, because I don’t wanna die with an elf by my side” he said.
“You….”
“Shh” he cut her off. “And I’m not a little boy, you don’t wanna know what I’ve got between my legs” he pointed towards his manhood.
He sighed.
“When death’s come for you, it wouldn’t leave until he takes you along” he shook his head. “I don’t know which clan you belong, so I won’t attend your funeral… rest in peace in advance” he said.
He rushed off without giving Ingrid any chance for a comeback, she glared at him until he’s out of sight, then she proceeded into the wizardry forest.

Arabella’s point of view.
(King’s palace)
I hugged Wymond very tight and didn’t wanna let him go, today’s the D-Day, day he’s gonna face the masked man and he’s about setting out.
I’m very confident that he’s gonna defeat the masked man, but I’m also very scared at the same time -there’s this nagging feeling at the back of my head, that something’s gonna go wrong.
“Whatever happens, try to get the pearl bead first, it’s very important to us” I told him.
“Of course”
“And…” I pulled away from him and held his hands. “,… don’t underestimate him and let down your guard, he might wanna play tricks, please stay cautious at all time”
He smiled and nodded, he leaned down and crashed his lips on mine, he kissed me shortly.
