At Alyssa’s house
Banshee’s POV
“Foolish girl!!” I yelled as I angrily threw a wooden spoon at Alyssa.
“What did I do wrong mum? I just told you that I have started using my powers right like you asked me to and you are here throwing objects at me” Alyssa kept on dodging as I continued to look for more objects to hit her with.
“Why won’t I throw objects at you when you have refused to use your brains.
Couldn’t you have practiced using your powers somewhere else??” I started to run after her.
“What do you mean mum?” She was trying to get away from me.
She looked so frightened but I didn’t care, all I wanted was to get my hands on her and give a good punishment… an unimaginable beating to be precise, for the silly mistake she just made.
“Didn’t Mia and Lakshmi see you or weren’t you the person I discussed with earlier in getting on Lakshmi’s good side?
How do you plan to win her brother’s heart now when you can’t even win her heart” I finally caught up with her, dragging her by the hair and throwing her on the bed.
“You foolish girl. You just keep refusing to use your senses. Now she will go and tell her brother about everything she saw!!” I brought out my whip and kept on hitting her with her.
“Mum please!! Stop you are hurting me” she kept on pleading and rolling on the bed as she kept trying to avoid my strokes.
“He won’t believe her mum…please stop hitting me” Alyssa cried out.
“Of course he won’t but that would only raise suspicions about you. It will create a lot of doubts in his mind. You have ruined my plan now..
ahhh..!” I screamed as I pulled my hair roughly and threw the whip to one corner of the room.
“Huh.. ho.. w” Alyssa looked very terrified.
I looked at her with bloodshot eyes and she needed not to be told to leave my room and find a way to fix her mess.
Scott’s POV
Maybe I shouldn’t have asked Emily to leave the house, at least not at that point. I think I should have gotten another girlfriend before I let her go out of the house. I feel so lonely.
After the incident that occurred the other day, Lakshmi had been avoiding me and I wouldn’t blame her, it was for the best anyways.
I heard a knock on the door and I ignored it. I really didn’t want to get up from the couch. I asked a maid to go check who it was.
“Sir.. it’s a girl. She said you had asked her to come” the maid took a bow in front of me.
I really felt like that wasn’t necessary.
“Please stop bowing in front of me whenever you come to tell me something because it is really weird” I spoke calmly to her.
“Okay sir” she gave a faint smile and stood with her hands behind her back.
“Anyways go and tell the person at the door to come in” I instructed the maid with the hopes that it might be Emily.
“Good afternoon Scott ” Alyssa greeted me as she had a sweet, innocent smile on her face.
“Wow! I really wasn’t expecting you” I sprung up from the couch and threw my phone on the couch as a big smile rested on my face.
“I know… I just thought it would be best to surprise you or don’t you like the surprise?” She asked as she spread her hand so I could come and hug her.
“Of course I do. You look so beautiful” I complimented her as we enveloped ourselves in a long hug that didn’t seem to end.
Once we finally broke free from the hug, I licked my lips and pressed on them.
Why did she have to come here now? I don’t want to do anything to her… I have barely known her for a week and having s*x with her wouldn’t be such a good idea.
“What are you thinking about!” Alyssa shook me a little as she must have noticed how lost I was in my thoughts.
“Nothing” I lied as I gave her a faint smile.
“Where is your sister?” She began to look around.
“Ohh…Lakshmi…she went to stay with Mia for some time. She said it was a sleepover or something you girls do?” I shook my head without knowing what I was saying. I just voiced out whatever popped into my head.
“In the orphanage?” Alyssa looked very confused.
“Orphanage?” I was in shock and I looked more confused than she did.
“Why would she be at the orphanage?” I went further to ask Alyssa who looked like she wanted to swallow her words.
“Don’t you know? Mia is an orphan?” Alyssa shook her head as she struggled to voice out the words from her mouth.
“Ohhh…that’s sad ” I confessed as I felt her pain.
“I never had a father up until now and when I finally got my father.. My mother left me but I am still happy I was rewarded with a more caring mother.
It must really be painful for her not having a mother or a father figure in her life” I didn’t know when I blurted out those words.
“Mia is a strong girl…she never lets it get to her head. She is very happy with herself and your sister makes her life more enjoyable” Alyssa had a big smile on her face but then she murmured something and then rolled her eyes.
“What was that?” I asked
“It’s nothing” she gave off a faint smile.
Alyssa’s POV
I just couldn’t believe that I was praising Mia who was the reason behind a lot of my problems and I did that all in the name of getting into Scott’s good books.
This better works or else I might just forget about the feelings I have for him and strangle him with my bare hands.
“So???” I stood on my toes as I tried to get closer to him.
