At Mia’s school
Bella was fuming with anger, she couldn’t even control herself, she had begun to throw books on the floor. She completely disorganized her desk, she totally forgot that her friends and herself weren’t the only students in the class.
Bella had become the new bully, she had completely made everyone fear her and do whatever she wanted whether they liked it or not, well everyone except for Lakshmi who fitted her like a glove.
Seeing an angry Bella, the students left the class for her and she threw her watch at her friend who was the reason for her anger.
“How could you? Tell me how could you be so stupid?” Bella walked up to her and grabbed her shoulders, shaking her and causing her a lot of discomfort.
“Do you even know what you have done? Why did you hide such valuable information from me? Now what I’m I going to do?” Bella let her go and placed her right palm on her forehead while her left hand rested on her waist.
“I’m sorry, I never knew that you..” the girl tried to defend herself, she was already frightened and regretted ever bringing up the topic initially.
“You what? You thought what? Answer me, foolish girl” Bella grabbed her shoulders again and began to shake her once more.
“I never knew that the information could be of any importance and relevance to you. I thought you weren’t interested in their activities since their group had already broken up” the girl hung her head low.
“Seriously? Now I know that I am surrounded by a bunch of morons, complete fools who do not use the brains God has given to them” Bella screamed at the top of her lungs as she backed the girls and rested her palm on her forehead while looking at the ceiling. She took a deep breath and turned to face the girl once more.
“Weren’t you the one that just told me that the girls are now staying at Lakshmi’s house” Bella rested her hand on the girl’s shoulder, except this time she didn’t shake her and she was pretending to be calm.
“Yes I personally saw them entering her car and when I followed them, they stopped at Lakshmi’s house. I have monitored them for the past two days” the girl was trying to be proud.
“And what did you think they were doing at Lakshmi’s house?” Bella looked at the girl which made her swallow a huge chunk of saliva out of fear.
“I.. I ..” the girl stammered, she was completely lost of words as she herself had realised how stupid she had been for not trying to find out the reason.
“Yes, you are stupid because only a stupid person won’t be aware of the fact that they are going there for rehearsals and you know what that means?” Bella asked rhetorically.
The girl nodded her head as a no.
“It means that by now they already have a new dance and if paraventure, theirs is better than ours, we are going to lose.
We will be humiliated not just in front of the students that attend this school but in front of everyone that would be present there. We would be tagged as losers” she pushed the girl on the floor.
“And it’s all your fault” she added before she stormed out of the classroom, leaving the girls that were supposed to dance with her.
News about an angry Bella had gotten to Lakshmi and her friends, her sudden change in attitude was the talk of the whole school but everyone gossiping about it shut their mouth the moment Bella angrily walked past them.
She was so angry that she didn’t know when she bumped into Mia who was carrying her books, her books fell on the floor and she immediately bent down to pick them.
“Are you blind?” Bella scolded Mia who was busy picking up her books.
“I asked you a question, are you blind” Lakshmi was still fuming.
Mia got up with her books and looked at Bella for a while then averted her gaze before she attempted to walk away, but Bella held her wrist,
preventing her from moving away. She drew Mia back and Mia was now standing directly in front of her.
“You have some nerves now don’t you? Don’t you know you are meant to apologize when you bump into some like that?” Bella raised an eyebrow.
“It is not my fault you can’t walk 180 degrees. You were so upset you bumped into me” Mia gave a faint smile as she talked to her slowly.
Bella wasn’t even going to have any of it as she raised her hand to slap Mia but then Lakshmi came outta nowhere, holding Bella’s hand in mid air.
“The next time you try to raise your hand to Mia again, trust me I will break both your hands”Lakshmi threatened Bella who still tried to stand her ground.
“We’ll see” Bella replied and Lakshmi immediately pushed her to the floor with force.
“Ahh” Bella yelped in pain.
“Next time I will make sure I don’t just push you but I will break all your back bones, you hear me” Lakshmi bent down to threaten Bella.
“Says a girl who was so scared of what I would do to her that is why she felt the need to rehearse for an ordinary dance competition in secret” Bella held her waist as she struggled to stand on her feet. Bella’s words made Lakshmi scoff and give her a wicked smile.
“I am not scared of anybody , especially not you. I only did that so you could celebrate a victory over a game you hadn’t won. I wanted my blow to be so powerful that it would knock you out at once but unfortunately my plan failed but no worries, it isn’t a complete failure yet”.
Lakshmi defended herself and Bella’s friends soon arrived to help her stand up.
“Just look at how a small push could make you fall. Look how much help you needed to get up” Lakshmi was making fun of Bella and she was really enjoying it.
“I will beat you at this game just watch. I won’t let this embarrassment go easily” Bella was still being stubborn and insisted on battling words with Lakshmi who was always prepared for her.
“Listen to me dear, if you try to play with fire then surely you will get burnt. I have nothing against you participating in the dance competition.
After all, it won’t be a competition if I and my group are the only participants but where I have a problem is you stealing our dance moves and trying to sabotage what we have worked so hard for, probably because you are lazy.
I am going to let this one slide but if this was to repeat itself then read my lips Bella I will hurt you, physically”
Lakshmi ended the battle between herself and Bella and then she just walked away with Mia smiling behind her.
