Sofia’s pov
Our second vacation as a couple ended up being in Paris, like I had dreamed it to be. It was a surprise, Luca had only told me I was accompanying him to somewhere important for a few hours. He didn’t tell me I needed to pack, so it made me not suspect anything. Although I began to have a few suspicions when the flight stretched into over seven hours.
Turns out that he has been planning that for our one year anniversary. Somehow, it had completely slipped my mind until he tugged me atop him and brushed a small kiss against my lips before whispering the words against my lips.
“Happy anniversary, my love.”
A wide smile had stretched out on my face at once as I sat up at once to regard him in disbelief.
“Oh my gosh, you’re being serious.” I whispered, the smile on my face widening even more. My mind quickly raced as I tried to figure out the exact date we got married.
“We really are already a year?” I whispered, eyes wide and filled with disbelief. Luca chuckled and reached up to cup my face, and then he rubbed our noses together, prompting a feeling of satisfied warmth to bloom in the middle of my chest.
“Time flies, huh?” He murmured, voice quiet and eyes filled with so many feelings that made my chest ache.
“I still can’t believe it’s up to a year.” I mumbled and he laughed softly, nuzzling into my cheek.
“I can’t believe I couldn’t remember though. I’d have loved to plan something memorable for us.” I mumbled as my fingers unconsciously slipped into his hair. He hummed against the side of my throat, tugging me even closer to him before he began to speak.
“You don’t need to bother your pretty head about that, cause I’ve taken care of that already.”
I pulled back away from him at once to regard him with excitement. “You have?”
“I am. That’s where we’re currently heading to.”
“Oh! I didn’t even think of that!” I exclaimed as I engulfed him in a tight hug. “So we aren’t headed to an important meeting?” I mumbled into his shoulder and he snickered.
“No, baby. We’re headed to a vacation.”
In Paris, everything felt perfect. The scenery looked way beautiful than it looks in pictures and it felt like my cheeks almost fell off from how much I was smiling throughout the trip.
The tourist we got was a very cute looking man who loves to flirt. Each time he winked at me, Luca used to level him with a glare which usually gets him in line for a few hours before he forgets about that and attempts to flirt with me once again. It was almost funny to watch Luca get jealous when I wasn’t even flirting back.
We had so much fun together that I wished we could stay there forever. The dates we went on felt too perfect to be real, and the food tasted as good as I saw so many people say on the Internet.

When we went back home, the first thing Armani told us on picking us from the airport was that he’s like us to meet someone. Of course, my mind instantly went to the person he had been seeing and I felt excitement bubbling in my chest instantly.
“Oh my gosh, are you sure?” I asked through the smile on my face and Armani hummed while nodding his head. He’s currently seated opposite Luca and I in the back of the limo he had come to pick Luca and I in.
“I think it’s high time I introduce you guys together.” He continued, sneaking a glance at Luca who looked quite confused.
I lifted off my seat and settled beside Armani, and then I tugged him into a hug. “I’m so happy for you and also proud of you. You’ve come a long way and it makes me very pleased.”
Armani chuckled softly and returned the hug.
“I’m kind of lost here guys.” Luca mumbled but Armani and I collectively ignored him.
“I’m grateful to have you every second of the way. You know, I was unsure at various moments but you kept encouraging me and rooting me despite me being completely tight lipped.” He continued, a shy smile on his lips and I felt my heart fill up with warmth as I reached up and ruffled his hair.
“I knew you’d come around at a point.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Nala.” I said, a wide smile stretched out on my face. She offered a hand out to me and I shook my head and went in for a hug in hopes of it helping her loosen up. It wasn’t like she seemed nervous, because if anything, she seemed very confident.
Dressed in a pair of dark jeans that hugged all her curves and a dark shirt that revealed the tattoos on her arms, she gave off the perfect image of a badass woman. Granted, this wasn’t what I was expecting the more I stared at her, the more I began to understand why Armani felt drawn to her in the first place. It was more than the tattoos and confident race, and definitely more about the aura, and how she carries herself.
Despite how confident she looked, I noticed the moment that confidence flattered as soon as she settled her eyes on Luca. Luca didn’t offer his hand till I nudged his arm with mine.
When we sat down to eat, Luca remained silent most of the time but Armani talked enough for everybody for Luca’s silence to be noticed.
Nala was witty and cool, she also seemed very smart. Each time her gaze locked with Armani, smiles bloom on their faces and I knew in that moment, and they were definitely meant for each other.
I visited the restroom after the dinner, and wasn’t surprised when she showed up.
“I like your art.” Was the first thing she said.
We easily carried on after that and once I was done washing my hands, she asked me if there was anything I wanted to say to her because she had a feeling I definitely have something to say.
I remained silent for a few moments at first before speaking.
“Don’t hurt Armani, please. He has a soft heart and he cares with everything he has in him. He isn’t someone that holds back. Don’t stomp on his heart. Don’t make me regret encouraging him for going for this.”
A slow grin stretched on Nala’s face. “You think I’m gonna hurt him?” She didn’t sound offended, just amused.
“Perhaps. No offense, but you look like a cliche bad girl from books that breaks innocent boys’ hearts.”
She laughed this time. “Trust me, if there’s something Armani is, it isn’t innocent.” Then she grew serious. “But I get your point, and no, I’m not gonna hurt him, I’ll make sure of that.”
“Thank you.”
