“Can we be friends? ” She asked.
Did I just swallow my saliva?
“Really? ” I asked giving her a mocking face.
“Yeah, we can be friends and I can do everything to make it up to you.. I agree, I had some wicked attitudes lately but I’m a changed person now” She said.

“You want to be my friend? Are you sure you won’t regret making friends with a wretched person?” I asked.
“Shannon, why are you making it hard? I already tried to apologize but you have the mind of a rock.. I know our previous encounters have been rough lately, we can start afresh, like I just met you and you are just meeting me for the first too.. ” Jasmine said.
“Oh really? I’m the one with a mind of rock? Do you think Emily likes you? ” I scoffed and turned to Emily.
“Do you like Jasmine? ” I asked her and to my greatest surprise, she nodded in affirmation.
“See” “So why is it so difficult for you to like me too?” Jasmine said.
“What? ”
“I.. I mean why is so difficult for you to be my friend?” She said intertwining her fingers.
“After calling my sister a zombie like it’s her fault she turned out this way… Had it been our parents weren’t killed, do you think she would ever be kept in an incubator or would we ever be here? would some girl insult us to the core? ” I yelled at her.

I collected the phone from her, looked at the caller ID.. It was Mr Jeremy, i quickly swiped to the receiver.
“Hello Mr.. ” I stopped ‘cos Jasmine was here. She might think I have bad plans against her with Mr Jeremy.
—> He told me he’s back from Russia with Mr Bryant and Mr Bryant would return home anytime soon.
He suggested we should meet at a coffee shop which he sent the address to have some coffee and to talk..
