The lunch went well and finally, it was time to go and meet the entertainment journalists who were eagerly waiting.
As was given, Angela had already hinted to some of them through the manager that Macy would be missing and they were ready with articles that would be published on social media minutes after the conference ended all directed towards showing the world what a bad and proud actress Macy was.
Angela had also made sure to buy a water army that would escalate the story to a point that it would be among the trending topics of that day.
So, one can imagine the surprise they received when they saw Macy walk in hand in hand with the man who had played the king in the play.
They were talking animatedly and as was given, Angela didn’t like it because it should have been her who was where Macy was.
She also hated the fact that Macy literally shone throughout the room without any effort because her dress was the most eye catching and the fact that she hadn’t worn a lot of makeup made her beauty stand out more.
They took their seats and the interview started.
At the dais, the director of the movie was at the center of the long table and the investors sat to his right and then the main actors of the movie sat to his left starting with the male lead, to Angela, then Macy and then the others in that order.
Macy was wary of Angela and she was afraid that Angela might do something to jeoroadise the evening but Macy was on her.
Angela had taken what literally belonged to Macy, her family and her all her jobs and she was done.
Macy knew that if her grandmother died, then she would totally be thrown out.
It was the old woman who kept asking for Macy and she was the only reason why Macy was keeping in touch with that foul family.
She hadn’t told her grandmother about everything that was happening because she didn’t want to worry her seeing that she was in her late seventies and was having some health problems.
So, whenever Macy would visit for any family gathering or her grandmother’s birthday, she would stay by the old woman’s side for a while and then make up and excuse and then leave.
Macy kept her eyes on Angela and it all went well and all the questions were answered and the director gave the details of the shows for the promotion of the movie and the date for the premiere.
According to the ratings the short snippets they had already sent out through the company’s website and social media handles, it was clear that the premiere night would be a big night.
I the evening, as they were getting ready to leave, Angela approached Macy wit a smile.
“Sister, shall we go for dinner?
It has been long since we sat and talked and since we belong to the same family, don’t you think we should?” Angel asked and Macy almost said no and then she thought about it.
If this was before Macy learnt the truth of who Angela was, she would have fallen to the trap and found herself in trouble and that would have meant her parents hating her even more.
But now, she was more mature, and she knew that Angela had something up her sleeve.
Macy was intrigued and wanted to find out what.
She thought that she could get an opportunity to to play with Angela and maybe get some dirty material from her.
So, to Angela’s surprise, Macy agreed even without argument.
“Of course. Why not?
Wherw do you want us to go to?” Macy asked and Angela smiled and looked at the manager.
This woman, Katina, was supposed to be managing the both of them and like Julia who took the fall for Angela and went to jail, this one was going down the same road.
Macy thought about and almost laughed.

The manager left as soon as Angela gave her the signal and Macy knew that they were organizing something bad and she was ready for them.
Angela asked Macy to ride with her so that they could get to the hotel faster and Macy didn’t mind because she knew that she could beat up anyone Angela might think of using against her.
While on the way, she called Richard as she had promised but not to pick her.
She told him that she had gone with a fellow actress doe dinner and that she would get home late.
Macy handy forgotten that she was also looking for a way to get out of Richard’s house and maybe if the night goes well, she might find yet another reason to make Richard throw her out.
She knew that if she just told Richard that she wanted to leave outside his estate, he would come up with several reasons why she should not and she also couldn’t stand hurting Mel.
Mel was the reason why she did all this because she could not bear to hurt her.
Macy looked at Richard like a god.
According to her, she didn’t deserve him because he was too good for her.
She had been defiled and lost a child and she thus thought that she wasn’t worthy to be with a man such as Richard.
Maybe one day she will fall in love but not when she still felt guilty.
That was partly the reason why she wanted to leave soonest before her heart fell and it would be even harder to leave then.
Angela was the one who drove then and she drove to a hotel that was in the outskirts of the city and made Macy all the more suspicious.
She hadn’t seen May for a while and she knew that May was undertaking an important mission for her boss but Macy texted her anyway.
She hoped that the mission May was on was in the city because she didn’t know who else to call.
‘I am in Triple X Motel and I might need back up’. That was the text she sent May.
Angela gave the car keys to a valet and she led the way in.
“I have already booked our private room.
We will eat and have karaoke and enjoy ourselves because our movie is going to be a success.
Please don’t be shy sis.
Eat and drink all you want,” Angela said and Macy pretended to be gullible and just followed Angela’s directives.
“Yes, I will do just that,” Macy said as Thwy took the lift to the fourth floor where Angela took her to a private room that already had people in it.
Looking at it, this thing had already pre-planned.
Macy wondered what Angela would have done to bring her here of she didn’t agree to follow her.
Macy, however, pretended not to be worried and smiled very broadly.

Macy had been taking care of herself for the last seven years and within those years, she had known how to read people and looking at the group gathered there, she could tell that they were the kind who did what they wanted because their parents were loaded and they thought that they were above the law.

Macy knew there were two possibilities here.
One, Angela would make her drunk so as to embarrass herself, take photos and videos and sell them to entertainment tabloids and news outlets or two, drug her the way she did when Macy was barely eighteen and give her to men to defile her.
Of those two, Macy was onto them and she was right.
Macy kept her eyes on Angela because she knew that Angela was the queen in the room who controlled the chess board.
Macy saw Angela look at another girl when they sat.
The girl stood up and went for drinks.
Macy directly knew that they wanted to drug her and they would be damned of she fell for it for the third time.
What she didn’t know was what type of drug Angela would use this time.
“Oh, that flower looks pretty,” Macy said pointing at a medium vase that was placed on the windows sill and she stood up and carried it to the table.
“Oh my goodness, they are carnations! They are so rare.
Do you know that like roses, even carnations have different meanings?” Macy asked ready to keep Angela’s attention on her as the drinks were brought in.
Macy smiled at Angela as the girl Angela had sent out placed two glasses of expensive wine on the table before them.
‘Two can play this game,” Macy thought and smiled as she took her glass and swirled the wine and smiled it.

Macy looked at Angela and thought of what Angela would say if she found herself in the tabloids with photos and videos of her having sex with multiple people both make and female.
