On the second day, it was a little cold. Early in the morning, Vana was sent by the driver to a professional learning agency to apply for a software learning class. Then she rushed to the learning base to start a day’s course.
There was a time limit for the courses in the learning base. Normally, the courses in the morning were longer and more concentrated. The courses in the afternoon would be divided into two parts for learning, and the students could absorb language by themselves when they had spare time.
After checking the time schedule of the classroom in the base and the classroom in the software class to make sure that there was no conflict between them, Vana began the class with relief.
Today’s class was about the basic practice of software. A teacher came to assign tasks to everyone, and the students without foundation could practice drawing software against books.
Vana finally had time to do what she hadn’t done last night. She planned to use this class time to learn the two software shortcuts that she had just learned.
One was CAD software, and the other was PS software.
This time, Vana was finally able to use her superhero memory ability to remember these things quickly. Shortcuts were a few, and each order was executed by opening the software one by one against the computer. Although there were some questions that she couldn’t understand, as long as she asked Sally, Vana could quickly understand.
So in less than one class, Vana had almost understood the shortcuts of the two applications. Then she decided to set a small goal for herself. She used two applications to make a plane size mark and a complete jewelry picture.
Once she had a goal, Vana began to implement the plan. First, she used CAD to make the plane and profile drawings, and she must accurately make the standard jewelry style.
Vana opened the CAD interface and began to draw on a straight line.
The command of the straight line was L, and the length needed to be input into numbers, she should make sure it was a space.
Its size was in millimeters, and the default scale was in centimeters in all drawing applications.
During the practice, although Vana’s progress was slow, she soon used the application expertly.
It was not until the three classes in the morning that Vana finally finished half of her goal – a jewelry sketch was finally solved by her.
Although Vana hadn’t learnt PS yet, she was confident that she could learn it by herself.
About 4 hours later, Vana hurried to ask the driver to send her to the software learning class.
It was already lunch time, and there were not many students in this class. The students who could use the lunch time to study were usually very fond of this industry, so Vana did not get much attention in this class.
To Vana’s surprise, she met a very familiar customer in this class.
Alice Pei was the chief jewelry stylist.
She was actually teaching here. No wonder when Vana came to pay the tuition in the early morning, she sighed that the tuition here was so expensive. It turned out that the people here were all international celebrities.
When Alice saw Vana, she was also a little stunned. She seemed to feel that this face was a little familiar, but she quickly entered the normal teaching status and did not remember the relationship between her and Vana.
Alice adjusted the projector in the classroom to the interface of her computer, and then explained the basic performance of the ArtCAM software to everyone with the PPT.
“ArtCAM can achieve 7 powerful functions. Next, I will briefly introduce it to you and guide you to operate it in a practical way. Now let me talk about the functions of ArtCAM. ”
“First, it can make or edit plane data design drawings, which means it can read the directions, and it can also create new drawings or modify existing pictures. It can also be imported here with CAD or other software, and then we can see our models in the later three-dimensional images.”
“Second, it can create a three-dimensional relief model. We will operate it together later. I won’t explain it now.”
“Third, the tool can render real objects, which means that the jewelry we designed can achieve the effect of real pictures through the mode. This effect is as real as the pictures we took, which is very helpful for us to compare and modify our own design.”
“Forth, it can read the data of the three-dimensional entity and the sand box…”
“Fifth, it’s a three-dimensional layered design tool, and it’s very flexible…”
“Sixth, it has rich processing strategy, and it can link other machines…”
“Seventh, it can support various equipment like scanning or mechanically producing the drawings of the tools…”
The basic theoretical knowledge made everyone understand the powerful function of ArtCAM. Moreover, under certain circumstances, this software had almost integrated the characteristics of all other applications, which meant that this software could do most of the things that could be done by most of the applications.
Vana thought that every designer had different habits and there were also designers who were good at using all kinds of software, but the vast majority of people would love a kind of software and continue to use it.
However, Vana had seen the drawings from the software, which were really like the real pictures taken by the camera, which made her feel a little amazed.
Then, Alice led the students to operate the software on the computer. On the basis of the seven major features that she had taught before, each of them needed to practice several courses. Although the early courses were a little boring, once the results were effective, Vana would feel satisfied and be more devoted to study.
During countless practices and commands, Vana found that the shortcuts of CAD and ArtCAM were almost the same, but some of them needed to add an Alt or Ctrl command, but the shortcuts such as straight line, brush, thick, thin, and font were almost the same, which alleviated a lot of learning burden.
Vana thought if she went home to learn other applications by herself, would there be useful?
What Vana didn’t know was that very few people would be so proficient in two applications in one day. When Vana had already used the drawings to extract the three-dimensional images, the others were still exploring the basic orders to draw straight lines, circles, double lines and other single patterns repeatedly.
When Alice came down to check, she found that the current situation of the primary class had been able to basically determine the direction of most people in the future. But when she walked behind Vana, she saw that Vana was changing the three-dimensional jewelry pattern. Although the jewelry pattern was a little stiff, it still let Alice see the hope of the design in H Country’s future.
Alice looked at her for a while with satisfaction, and then quietly left behind Vana.
After a round of routine assessment, Alice started a new round of teaching. But this time, her progress was slow, because too much knowledge in a day would cause students to miss or forget.
