~Kelly’s POV~
I woke up to a lovely cup of coffee made by my maid, Katarina. She makes the best coffee. But I hate her. I hate everything about her, and she knows it. At least I don’t get to hide my hatred for her. She has all the ass in the right places. Every male friend I bring to this house praises her for having a nice body. They lust over her, not me. I mean, she has no money, and she gets to get all the praise for having a great body. If anything, she is eating my food to grow that ass. Yep, I said, but why? I eat the same food as she does, but I don’t have that kind of an ass, not that I have any. I tried starving Katarina to make her ass shrink, but all she got was a slim waist and her curves started to show. All my efforts for nothing. I am the boss. I’m supposed to look my best. Not a maid. I drank my coffee and went inside the bathroom to do my business. I sighed, as I knew very well today that it was day two of seducing the prince. My prince, I really need to get rid of that nobody called Maya, whatever her name is. I want to lock her inside a car, pour some gasoline on her and burn her alive as I watch. Yes, that’s what I want. She stole my Zion. Why would Zion fall for that girl, and what does he mean by saying he knew her for years? He is mine. I knew him for years. Even if he doesn’t love me, he will grow to love me with time. I don’t get to sit around and wait for that little girl to steal what’s mine. Ah, there is another pawn I should get rid of, Ivy Jones. I walked out of the bathroom and reached out to the nightstand, looking at my phone. I smiled. Dialing Ivy’s number with a smile.
Ivy: Hello
Kelly: Hey, what are you up to?
Ivy: I’m sorry, who is this?
I stared at my phone, wondering if I called Ivy Jones. Did I hit the wrong number? I have a tendency to get the wrong numbers lately. I cleared my throat.
Kelly: Is this Ivy?
Ivy: yes, and you are…
Kelly: Oh my God, Kelly, I’m Kelly Martins.
Ivy: And?
I stared at my phone, stunned. Was she pulling a fast one on me?
Kelly: What do you mean by that?
Ivy: Listen here, Kelly, or whatever your name is. I don’t have the whole day, so if you have nothing to say, please cut the call.
Kelly: I want to talk about that bitch? What’s her name again? Aaah, Maya Jones.
Ivy: You mean Maya Archer, or should I call her Lady Archer? What about her?
Kelly: I am Lady Archer, not that girl.
Ivy: If you called me to talk about my sister, I don’t have the time and if you know what’s good for you, you will stay away from my little sister or I will come for you. Get that?
She said that and hung up. I looked at my phone, stunned. When did they make up? I mean, she wanted my Zion, and now she no longer wants him. This is starting to be so boring now. I only have to deal with Maya. Well, she will vomit the baby soon. I will make her.
“Katarina! Bring me today’s newspaper!” I yelled, and she came into my room running like a little mouse. Under me is where she belongs. I sipped my coffee gracefully while I flipped through the newspaper. The front page shook me to my core.
Lord Archer and his wife, Maya Archer, welcomed their first child.
My hands began to shake, my insides twisted, and I looked at the annoying big-ass girl in front of me, who was lucky because the coffee was finished; I could have splashed her face with hot coffee, but instead, I hit her with the mug and began kicking her. She will be my punching ball for today.
“Kelly, what on earth are you doing, child?”
“Mother, oh sweet mother, you see, my Zion. My Zion has a baby. How? How come? I was meant to be the one pregnant by him. I was supposed to be the one to make that useless girl vomit that baby before it was her time to deliver the baby. She was supposed to lose that bastard mother!”
*******
Mrs. Martins couldn’t believe the girl she gave birth to. How could she be this evil? How could she wish such a thing on a person? And why was she taking her anger out on an innocent person? She stood in the middle of the room, still stunned at the girl she once called sweet. She pushed Kelly away and asked Katarina to go out.
“Stop your nonsense. We both know that Zion never wanted you from the start. Not once has that boy made time for you. Why are you so obsessed with him? We have been embarrassed enough, don’t you think? Where does Katarina fit into all this? Did you really have to do that to the poor soul? Why, Kelly. Are you that inhumane to take out your anger on a person who is powerless? Did you really have to hurt Katarina like that?”
“Shut up! Shut up!” Mrs. Martins froze as her own daughter started to disrespect her. She thought the girl might have lost some screws in her head over the years, but now she is more than convinced that the girl she gave birth to is sick. She cast a suspicious glance towards the entrance as her husband stood there with his hands crossed over his chest.
“Just so you know, the newspaper you are reading is outdated. Lord Archer and his wife welcomed three bouncing babies, two boys, and one girl.” Kelly let out a loud scream as she ran to hug her father. Mrs. Martins started to walk away because she had a feeling that her husband might be encouraging Kelly.
“Father, I lost him, three babies. That is too much. He has a family now. I can no longer have him as a father!” The man caressed his daughter and kissed her head, but then Kelly raised her head. “It was supposed to be me. I will make them suffer. I will still get Zion to sleep with me, and I will take one of their children. It is a promise.”
