Zion was worried about his wife and refused to go to sleep until he found out where she was. He had no idea that she was singing to distract herself from the reality that her husband had kissed another lady. He was blissfully unaware of this fact. The man was adamant that he would not go to sleep until he knew where his wife was. He was angry at himself for choosing not to accompany his wife to the park and for allowing her to leave alone. As Zion made his way to the park where Luca had left his wife, he gave off the impression that he was harboring a significant amount of tension within himself. He had been so angry with himself for breaking the vows they made that night.
The fact that I let another lady kiss me in front of my wife is one of the worst regrets of my life. He was contemplating things in his own head. He sat on one of the benches at the park. When he looked around, he noticed that the park was filled with people living on the streets who were sleeping there. He began his search despite the fact that he was fully aware that his wife would never do anything to endanger the lives of their unborn children. He then asked Lucas to take him where her card was used to withdraw a large amount today. Zion stood outdoors and surveyed the area. He was unable to see anything.
“Lucas, look for the nearest hotel. Let’s see if she went to any of the hotels around.”
The time was already after 2 AM. Lucas was already feeling sleepy, but he knew better, that his master didn’t play with his wife and he wouldn’t give up until he finds her. However, he was also taken aback by the fact that he would remain awake till this time in order to search for his wife.
Lady Archer is lucky to have a master. The man does not care about women in general, but when it comes to his wife, he will do anything for her.
“The Grand Archer Hotel, which is located approximately 1. 5 miles away, and the Silver Star Hotel, which is located approximately 5 miles away, are the closest hotels.”
“It does not appear that she is staying at any of my hotels. When she checked in, it would have been easy for me to have known right away. Let’s go to the Silver Star hotel and look for her there, just in case we can find her there.”
Zion and Lucas went to the Silver Star Hotel and immediately began searching for anyone who might have checked in using cash as well as looking for anyone with the Archer surname. But nothing. They went to the extent of inspecting the surveillance cameras, but Lady Archer was nowhere to be seen. Zion felt his efforts were being wasted. He didn’t know what to think this time. At this point, Zion was sure that his wife had left him.
“Lucas, drive me back to my hotel.” Lucas sighed but wasn’t feeling well as his master was so down and he could tell that the man loved his wife so much. As soon as they checked into the Grand Archer hotel, they went straight to their suite to get some sleep. Lucas used one of the rooms and went to sleep. Zion doesn’t do searches. He always hires people to search for him, but when it comes to his wife, he was searching along with everyone.
He went to bed, but he was still unable to fall asleep since he was concerned about how she was doing with their children. The fact that Maya was expecting caused Zion to feel anxious about the possibility that she may abandon us and leave with the children. He then walked inside to freshen up in the bathroom. Water poured into his body as pictures of how they were taking a shower together yesterday flooded in. The song that he had sung especially for her.
Is there someone else you’d rather have as your husband? He was contemplating things in his own head.
Zion’s love for his wife was unlike anything he had ever felt for anybody else in his life. She brought him happiness every day, and he couldn’t believe he had to go on without her. He prayed in silence that she would not flee from him. At first, he had no intention of ever needing or wanting to sleep, but his body betrayed him. The clock read 6 o’clock in the morning when he went to sleep.
Lucas had a hunch that Lady Maya might have arrived at the hotel, so he hurried down to the front desk to inquire about the previous night’s data as soon as he could. He looked, but couldn’t find Maya’s name anywhere on the list. After that, he proceeded to the security control center in order to make a request for the footage from the previous evening. After that, Lucas observed Maya checking in beside a young girl and an adult woman. Maya removed her identification card but then returned it to her handbag before approaching the other woman and requesting to use her ID card to complete the check-in process. Lucas checked the time and raced back to the reception desk to inquire about the room number of the person who had checked in at 9:02 p. m. The receptionist, recognizing that the man was Lord Archer’s right-hand man, the lady then gave Lucas the suite number. When Lucas saw that Lady Archer’s suite was just across from Lord Archer’s suite, he was taken aback. Lucas made his way up the stairs, aware that even though he was devoted to Lord Archer at this time, he also needed to be faithful to Lady Archer. Despite the fact that he was committed to Lord Archer, Lucas remained loyal to Lady Archer, too. After that, he proceeded immediately to the suite and knocked on the door. Sophia went to open the door after hearing the doorbell. After entering, the man hurriedly shut the door behind him.
“Hey, Mr, we didn’t give you permission to enter our suite. Why did you do that?” Lucas cast his gaze in the direction of the little girl. She possessed a sharp wit to go along with her sharp tongue.
“Would you kindly get Maya for me?” The moment the girl heard Maya, she felt a sense of calm wash over her.
“Mister, you ought to have informed me that you were here for Maya,” the girl said. She made a silly pout and then walked inside the room.
Maya started talking before she had a chance to say anything.
“Sophia, I want you to go wash your face. We are going to get you some clothes.”
“Okay, Maya. Umm, Maya, there is a man waiting for you outside.”
Maya was momentarily paralyzed and then started pacing up and down the room. However, at that moment, she recalled that Sophia was still present.
“Okay, take your bath.”
When Lucas overheard someone refer to Lady Maya by her given name, he was completely taken aback. Do they even know who Maya is? he thought. Maya finally went out. She grasped her chest in relief because she initially thought that Zion had located her. On the other hand, she was aware that the fact that Lucas knew her whereabouts implied that Zion did as well. She was also perplexed as to how they managed to locate her, but then she realized that her husband was the owner of the hotel.
“What are you doing here?”
“There is no need to be concerned, Lady Archer. Lord Archer doesn’t know where you are. I came alone. I wanted to make sure that you are doing well and let you know that your husband is in the suite that is just across from yours. Together with Lord Archer, we looked at every possible location for you. He did not fall asleep at any point during the ordeal. He just gave in to sleep after 6 am. I feel bad for him, but you are also my employer. I had my suspicions, so I examined the CCTV, and it lead me here. He doesn’t believe you are at this location, but I did.”
Maya had an incredible amount of affection for her husband. However, she had the intention of punishing him, but after learning that he didn’t sleep, she felt awful about herself. She was on the verge of shedding a tear. She had a great deal of affection for Zion, yet she felt compelled to express her displeasure with yesterday’s events.
“Can you give me the key to the suite? You don’t need to be concerned since I won’t wake him up; I just want to see him.” Lucas extended his hand and gave her the key while he waited for Maya to come back.
