Leyla returned home with a resentful look on her face and was just about to go upstairs to her room when she happened to meet Evan who had just come downstairs.
Leyla didn’t want to have much interaction with her dad and wanted to go in a different direction to avoid him, so she silently turned around to leave.
“Stand still.”
Seeing Leyla trying to hide, Evan called out to her directly, “Come back here I have something to ask you.”
Leyla knew she couldn’t hide, so she turned around, lowered her head and whispered, “Dad, what is it that you want to say?”
“Leyla, I heard that Kirkland Group is holding a press conference, does this matter concern you as well.”
Evan just got the news that his daughter fabricated the truth out of thin air and is now in an awkward situation. Evan, who loves his daughter, went downstairs in a frenzy to find out the truth of the matter, but he didn’t expect to meet Leyla directly.
“Dad, it’s nothing serious, don’t worry.”
Leyla doesn’t want to tell Evan the truth and plans to hide it from him.

Leyla did not reveal anything about what she had done, and finally put it all down to her own impulse.
“Are you saying that you didn’t inform the media and the newspapers about this?”
After listening to Leyla’s description, Evan said in confusion.
“I really didn’t inform the media or the newspapers, I just scolded Dolly a few times out of anger, I didn’t expect things to develop like this!”

Evan angrily picks up the phone, only to be stopped by Leyla.
“Dad, don’t call him, if you guys get upset, it’s us, the James Family, who will suffer. For the sake of us, the James Family, let’s put up with this matter for now.”
Leyla claims that it is for the sake of the family, but in fact she is afraid that if the two of them confront each other, Brayden will tell all those bad things.

Neither of them knew that this incident, which eventually became the trigger for the father-daughter breakup.
