I went upstairs thinking of what to do. We couldn’t leave here by this time but we might have to. I walked to Sam’s room and saw him wide awake sitting up staring outside the window.
“Why are you awake? ” I asked and he turned to look at me for a second before staring off again.
” You couldn’t sleep? ” he asked looking outside the window.
” I actually did but I just woke up from one of my encounter with her. Why are you up? ”
” I couldn’t sleep. ” he answered looking up at me.
” Why, what’s wrong? ” I asked. I was worried about him, I don’t want anything to happen to any of us especially now that we needed each other most.
” Nothing.” he answered but I know he was hiding something from me and didn’t want to tell me and I wasn’t going to force him to.
” If you say so.” I said trying to bring up what I saw recently. ” Sam, I heard something. ”
” What? ” he asked turning to look at me, his face devoid of any emotion. He looked tired.
” I overheard Alpha Lucas conversation, someone is coming for us Sam. ”
” Are you sure?, his friends could be coming or something. ”
” The person wants to see us Sam, the person is after us. We have to leave here Sam. ”
” Can we at least leave by six or seven, I need to relax.” he said
” It might be too late Sam, the person’s on their way and I fear the person is going to take us to Loranda, we have to leave Sam. ” I said trying to convince him.
We really had to leave, we don’t know who’s coming tomorrow and I’d rather not stay and find out especially now that I know that Alpha Lucas isn’t to be trusted.
” Can we just leave now? ” I asked
” Let’s sleep on it, we really need to rest Lee. ” he said. ” We’d leave tomorrow. ”
” But what if tomorrow’s too late? ” I asked panicking
” We’d leave early tomorrow morning Lee it would be dangerous now, go sleep. ” he said and I angrily went to my room.
Why couldn’t we just go right now, what’s the worst that could happen on the way. I laid in bed not going to fall asleep and as soon as it was bright enough to leave I’d go pull Sam and Jonathan up.
I hadn’t realised that I slept off until I woke up to a very bright day, I felt so stupid, how could I have slept ?
I got out of the bed quickly taking my bag with me not bothering to do anything and rushing to Sam’s room to wake him up and yeah he was still sleeping.
” Come on Sam, we have to hurry out of here. ” I said tapping him furiously.
” Why are you waking me up as if the house is on fire. ” Sam said sitting upright
” We have to leave Sam the person Alpha Lucas was talking to is coming today remember. ” I said throwing clothes into his bag.
” Okay I’m up now, go get Jonathan. ” he said and I hurried to to the room beside him
Jonathan was still sleeping snoring loudly. I went to him tapping him hard and fast.
” Come on Jonathan, wake up. ” I said tapping him and when I was thinking he was awake he just turned to face another side.
” Wake up Jonathan, if you don’t I’m getting a bucket of cold water. ” I said tapping him furiously
” Girl why are you disturbing me so early in the morning. ” he asked with a frown
” We have to leave, Alpha Lucas is bringing someone to us. ” I said throwing him his bag.
” Why would he do that? ” Jonathan asked.
” Let’s not wait to find out . ” I said going out of the room and met Sam at the door. Seconds later Jonathan came out and we walked quickly and quietly to the door.
But our plan was short lived when Alpha Lucas walked in on us.
” Leaving so soon without telling me. ” he said approaching us.
” We have places to be. ” Sam answered
“Why don’t you leave after breakfast?” he suggested.
” No, thanks. ” I said and we all turned back to leave
” Thanks for letting us stay here for a while, we really appreciate it. ” Jonathan said. ” But we have to go. ”
” Well no one is leaving this place until I say so. ” he said sternly and I gulped.
I was close to the door and ran there, just as I opened the door I let out a scream, the last person on earth I was expecting to see stood outside. I was beyond shocked.
” Missed me sweetheart? ” he asked smirking.
I couldn’t say anything, I was speechless. I couldn’t even move, what on earth is he looking for here. His scent quickly took over my nose. He smelt of pine and soap and his scent was so alluring and fresh, let’s not start on how I must be smelling like now. What was he even doing here, if he’s here is he the one that Alpha Lucas was talking to?
” What are you even doing here? ” I asked. ” Never mind, we have to leave. ”
” You guys should stay for breakfast with my guest. ” Alpha Lucas said and I looked at him completely shocked
” He’s your guest? ” I asked. And I was worried to death about nothing, seriously?
” Yes he is. Who were you thinking it was? ” he asked
” Well Lee here was thinking it was Loranda or someone that was out to get us.” Sam said staring at me with that I told you so look he’s to be trusted.
” So that’s why you had to wake us up? ” Jonathan asked
” Well… I thought it was someone else, how was I supposed to know that it was Damon? ”
” How do you even know I was expecting a guest?” Alpha Lucas questioned

” Well I wasn’t eavesdropping, I just happen to hear your conversation. Gosh you scared the hell out of me. ” I said and he looked a bit hurt that I didn’t trust him. ” I’m sorry for not trusting you, it’s just that we don’t know who to, I shouldn’t have thought of the worst, I’m sorry. ”
” It’s okay.” he said with a smile. ” You guys should go freshen up and come downstairs for breakfast. ”
” Thanks. ” we chorused
We went upstairs while Damon stayed with Alpha Lucas .
” I can’t believe you were worried over nothing. ” Sam said staring at me with a gaze that’s supposed to make me apologize
“I can’t believe we were going to miss the chance of breakfast. “Jonathan said
” But what if it wasn’t Damon and it was someone else we would have been in trouble by now. ” I said
” Let’s just forget about that, it seems like lover boy came to see you. ” Jonathan said teasingly
” Oh please, he’s here for something with Alpha Lucas not for me, how could you even think that? ”
” Because he’s lover boy duh, he came all the way here for you. ” Jonathan said smirking
” It’s not for me okay, he doesn’t even like me and neither do I so stop all these your nonsense Jonathan.” I snapped before entering the room and slamming the door.
I sighed sitting on the bed. I was way beyond surprised to see him and was a little bit relieved that it wasn’t someone else. I don’t even know why he’s here but I wasn’t going to find out cause after breakfast we’d be out of here far away from him again.
There was a knock on the door and I grew tense. I seriously hoped it wasn’t Damon. I walked to the door and opened it just to find a maid with a new pair of clothes and I didn’t know whether to feel relieved or disappointed. I thanked her and collected the clothes.
I got into the bathroom, brushed and bathed then wore the clothes which was a black long sleeve crop top with a black jeggings and sneakers and I put on the black beanie that was in my bag before going downstairs.
I was hoping to find Sam or Jonathan in the dining room but instead it was just Damon and just as I was about to leave he turned to face me, it must have been my scent or something.
” Hey.” he said and I muttered it back to him turning to leave but he stopped me by standing so close to me, his hands on mine.
His touch was doing things to me that I didn’t want to acknowledge. It was sending tingles throughout my body and I just wanted him to hold me all day and him being so close to me wasn’t helping matters at all.
” We need to talk. ” he said speaking up.
” There’s absolutely nothing for us to talk about, you told me to leave, just let me do that. ” I said angrily. I still couldn’t get how he told me to leave out of my head
” What if I want you to stay now?” he asked
” I’m not going to, I don’t want to be anywhere around you. ”
” Really? ” he asked with a smirk. ” Is it because of what I cause inside of you? ” he asked running his hands from my palm to my shoulders and for every part he touched I literally felt sparks.
” You cause nothing inside of me, now stop touching me. ” I said taking his hands off.
” Liar.” he said smirking pulling me closer putting his hands around my waist.
” Let go of me Damon.”I said trying to get out of his grip but he just tightened it.
” Have I told you that I like the way my name sounds from you? ”
” No you haven’t but now that you have I’d be sure to never say the name again.” I said smirking.
” We both know you can’t do that babe, sooner or later I’d make you say my name. ” he said smirking.
I actually got the innuendo, he’s never going to do that cause I won’t let him.
” I’d like to see you try.” I said and he didn’t waste any time into pressing his lips on mine
I tried pushing him out and all but it wasn’t working and he just seemed to pull me closer as if we weren’t close enough. I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction of kissing me just like how he did the last time and left without saying a word but sooner or later I knew I was going to give in cause let’s face it. Him kissing me is so damn good and I want nothing more than for his tongue to be with mine dancing. He wasn’t prepared to quit yet and I was getting tempted more and more to give in. I know it was easy to just forcefully push him off and slap him cause that will make him know firmly that I’m not interested in him but I couldn’t do that cause I know I wanted to kiss him so badly.
I finally gave in to the kiss opening my mouth for him and he got inside me with a smile on his face. Jerk, he had me where he wanted but I wasn’t going to let him win. I’d make him say my name instead. I placed my hand on his hair raking my hand through it and I got a moan of approval from him. See who has the first moan now.
He wasn’t prepared to let me go without a moan. His tongue thrust into mine dancing rhythmically with mine and I was on the verge of moaning his name but he wasn’t done with me. He started trailing kisses on my neck until he found my sweet spot and I had to bite my lips together and force myself not to release a moan but he just smirked knowingly and continued.
” Did I tell you that I missed you sweetheart? ” he asked and I nodded in the negative not trusting my voice to say anything or tell him outrightly to continue kissing me. ” Well I did miss you babe, really. ” he said returning to kissing my neck. I don’t think I could hold off a moan.
I pulled his hair causing him to look up then kissing him, you should see his face, he looked so surprised and was smiling. I continued kissing him until I made him say my name.
” Oh, Lee.” he said moaning out my name and I smiled. I had him just where I wanted, I had accomplished my aim for this kiss.
I pulled out of the kiss smiling. “I think I can make you say my name more. ” I said smirking looking at his look of disbelief which was later replaced with a smirk ” By the way I like the way you say my name. “I winked leaving him to get himself together cause when we were so close I could feel him on me
