Sydney’s POV:
We gladly left the library to our guest rooms.” I never know that the demons got some power to handle flames in their hands.” I wondered about those girls.
” Demons don’t have such type of things. Who knows what they did to get it?” Kassidy murmured and opened the door to their room.
“These girls didn’t let us talk, baby. You can never guess what I learned about the Queen?” Jacen excited started but Noah pulled his arms and said something to him. I know Noah is not ready to talk with me. It worries me. For how long is he going to avoid me? At the moment I get killed by Lilith?
” Wait a minute, baby,” Jacen told and gone out of the room with his brother.
” Hey, Sydney. Take this. We may not find any books but we can practice.” Kassidy threw a sword at my feet. She took another one behind her bed.
” What the hell? I am not fighting with you, Kassidy,” I told her. But picked the sword and examined it. I never really used a sword. All I did was using my powers and a single dagger.
” Kassidy is right. Atleast, we can fight if no other plan is working.” Lydia agreed and took a dagger from behind her.
” Whoa… this is unexpected,” I said. At the moment, Kassidy charged forward to attack me. I blocked it with my sword and raised my other hand to attack Lydia with my power. My aunt dodged before the blue light hit her.
” Hey, watch it. I am still here,” Amelia shouted, sneaking her way out of the room.
” Okay. That’s enough. This won’t be useful to get rid of Lilith.” I told them to stop this silly fight among us. Immediately, Lydia came with the dagger to stab me. I know that’s not going to happen. I bent down and she punched me hard in the jaw. I fell down from the force.
” That’s enough. I don’t like this two against one. Are you gonna stop it or not?” I asked getting up from the floor furiously.
” No. We won’t.” Kassidy replied. The next moment, I threw the sword down and lifted both of my hands. I kicked Lydia with my leg and directed my power at the cupboard next to Kassidy. Lydia fell with her dagger hitting the ground. Kassidy has an alarmed look on her face but didn’t move away till the cupboard is one inch to fall on her.
” What heck are you all doing? Making a mess in this room.” Noah yelled, catching the cupboard from falling on Kassidy. We got no reason to worry as the cupboard in a guest room is empty inside.
” These two are telling it’s training. I don’t think it is.” I told without looking at him. I know he will ignore me again and again.
” Come to my room, Sydney. We got something to discuss.” Noah informed me in a serious tone. I nodded and followed him to his and Amelia’s room. Jacen and Amelia are already waiting for me.
” I got good and bad news. What do you want to know at first, baby?” Jacen asked me. What should I say?
” Good news,” I choose it. Then the three of them filled everything happened while I was in the library.
” The bad news is so worse. I can’t let you all die. The good news can’t be considered as good. We don’t even know about the hall of mirrors.”
” I told you. She is not even positive in finding the hall of mirrors. We can’t find it.” Noah spoke like he’s giving up on the only one weakness of Lilith we ever got.
” I am not saying we can’t do that. I need to think. There will be no use in searching it while Dorothy will be guarding it. But we can think of any other way.” I said, thinking of a solution. The silence followed us for more than half an hour.
” Time is running like anything. Why are we even wasting our time thinking? I can only think of one thing. I won’t die and enters hell. But going to die in hell.”Amelia complained, with her hands over her head.
” No one is dying. We shouldn’t be afraid of Dorothy.” I told her. Suddenly, someone’s face entered my mind. Zissa and Jade.
” Jade… Zissa…” I murmured under my breath.
” Why are you calling their names?” Noah asked, raising his eyebrow.
” They are the only one who can help us.” My face brightened up as others gave a perplexed look.
” What are you blabbering about?” Amelia asked.
” You all must have heard that Jade and Zissa wanted to visit the world. But Queen never let them out. So, we can make a deal with them.” I revealed half of my plan.
” What’s the deal, baby?” Jacen questioned me eagerly.
” You said Pamela is with them. But from what you have heard, Pamela doesn’t know about the hall of mirrors. Lilith and Dorothy didn’t answer her about that hall. Now, I want some help from Jade and Zissa to knock out Pamela and hide her somewhere. While Kassidy and I will prepare a portion to change the body. I will take Pamela’s body for an hour. I will get all the information from Dorothy. Then we clearly know what’s in the room and what they are planning to do.” I explained. I waited for my friend’s reaction.
” This is risky, baby. Everything is okay but what if Dorothy suspects your behaviour. You need to act like Pamela. You should think like her and do whatever she do. I can’t let you do this.” Jacen refused my idea.
” Please, Jacen. I believe this will work. If we made a deal with those demons, then we will get all the help from them to execute this idea. Trust me. I know how to act like Pamela. Dorothy won’t suspect me. Even Pamela can’t stop this plan. She will be in my body for an hour. With those demons help, you need to lock my body in this room till I finish my work. At last, you need to use your compulsion power to make her forget about everything that happened in that hour. We are doing this.” I told them all.
” If anyone is refusing this plan, then tell me any better idea now,” I questioned them. I know they didn’t think of anything.
” Nothing. I have no idea. I agree with this plan.” Noah says.
” Do you think that the demons will agree to this, baby?” Jacen asked one last question.
” They will. Come on. We need to find them.”
