Jacen’s POV:
Fifteen minutes ago:
I slowly stepped on the floor and followed the person from behind. I didn’t make a single noise to give any suspects. The more I look at her appearance, the more I doubt that it’s my aunt. Suddenly she stopped in front of a door. She turned at both sides to check whether anyone is watching her. I hide behind a wall and waited till she entered the room. I sneaked towards the door. It’s locked. But still, I can hear every conversation and see the person’s face from the door glass. The room is nothing but a guest room. Except for one thing, there’s a throne in the middle of the room. Lilith is seated in the throne.
” Are you sure there’s no one around the hall? Sydney’s friends are wandering over on this floor. You shouldn’t be spotted by anyone.” Dorothy told her. I know I was right. That’s my Aunt Pamela. She’s dead. I shot her and she didn’t make it alive. I am not sure whether I should be happy for this or not.
” Nobody spotted me. Now tell me what are we going to do? I can’t wait for two days. You know I want to kill my niece. The only persons I cared for is my family members. But they abandoned me and finally, Jacen killed me. Before I get the punishment for my sins, I need to do another sin. I want to kill Jacen and Noah. I won’t be satisfied until I do that.” Pamela spoke with so much vengeance in her heart. She made me kill her. I still know she deserves it. Her plan to kill me is ridiculous. I’m already dead ones.
” Have some patience, darling. I will make sure you will get a chance to kill your niece. But then you will get the punishments for your sins here.” I heard Lilith’s voice.
” I am okay with getting the punishments. Thank you for helping me with my last wish, Queen.” Pamela gratefully spoke while Dorothy took a box and opened it with an evil smile on her face.
” You will need this to kill the brothers. I have four stakes. Made good use of it.” Dorothy handed the box to Pamela’s hands. She excitedly took it. I am sure she’s imagining the moment she’s killing us with that stake. What she’s thinking? Will I be staring at her while she’s ready to kill me with that stake?
” Everything’s settled. Now, we have two days. I can get over with that girl within a minute. But I will go easy on her for some minutes. There won’t be any fun if she dies simply.” Lilith told them, sitting on a throne with both her hands below her jaw.
” There’s no need to play, Queen. Kill her within minutes.” Dorothy suggested.
” No. What’s the use in it for me, darling? I will make sure she suffers and she begs me not to kill her. With a little pity, I will make a deal by taking her royal powers. She won’t get anything in return. She only gets a chance to live in a prison cell.”
” That’s a pretty good idea, Queen. Meanwhile, we will kill all her friends. When it’s all over, I get to be the Queen in Slateville. If I do all of these, my sister won’t be a problem for me. I can easily get rid of her.” Dorothy explained her plan to Lilith and Pamela and also me.
” It’s a win-win situation. I get the power I wanted and you get the revenge. ” Lilith laughed wickedly.
” I never thought it will be so simple.” Dorothy laughed with her. Instantly, Lilith has a serious expression on her face.
” I never said it will be simple. I got one obstacle to cross. No one should find about the Hall of mirrors. I can’t imagine the trouble I will get in if Sydney finds the hall of mirrors. She may not even know about it. But still, I need to be careful.” Lilith told with fear in her voice.
” What’s the hall of mirrors?” Pamela carelessly asked while examining the shark stakes.
” I will take care of it, Queen. I will make sure no one finds the hall of mirrors. I know the danger in it. You can wholeheartedly trust me.” Dorothy promised Lilith. I expected them to explain a little bit about the place. If this is the only thing that bothers the Queen, then that’s her weakness. If I find it, everything will be solved.
” You should have that I don’t trust anyone, darling. Anyways, I need to go to the hall. I got a lot of things to handle.” Lilith told and got up from the throne. I hide behind the walls again. I started sweating. I got ready to get as far away from this room. I shouldn’t be caught by them.
” Stay here for two days. No one should find you.” Lilith said.
” Yes, Queen,” Pamela replied her. That’s the last thing I heard before leaving the room. I know where this room is located. I got a problem and an opportunity at the same time. Soon, I went back to find my brother and Amelia.

” This is what they are planning? I know we shouldn’t trust them. Lilith already cheated me by taking my powers. It will happen again if we let Sydney fight her. We should find a way to leave.” Noah shouted. He’s acting like a coward.
” We are not leaving. We are going to find the hall of mirrors, bro.”
” Jacen’s right. Fortunately, we found her weakness. This is the best option we ever got.” Amelia agreed to my idea.
” It’s the worst option. They are planning to kill us all. You are thinking about finding that damn room. It won’t be easy to find that room.”
” Don’t give up easily, Noah. You are acting like this as you lost your power. If we can do this, then you will even get your powers back.” Amelia tried to convince him.
“Fine. Let’s get back to Sydney. But remember, if this plan fails, it will be your fault.” Noah pointed his hands at me. I don’t care about his warning. My brother is going to thank me for this later.
