Gino Ross looked straight at Leo’s manager for the first time. During the audition, Leo’s excellent acting skills had impressed him, and that was why he had wanted to sign him on the spot.
Normally, actors would have been thrilled, but Leo had hesitated.
He thought that Leo’s hesitation was because he wanted to negotiate the terms of the contract, but he had not expected him to say, “This has to be approved by my manager.”
Clearly, Leo respected his manager very much, but Gino had not expected his manager to be so hideous.
However, everything she had done was to protect Leo. Gino had no doubt that the manager would do more damage the next time something like this happened.
When Gino remained silent, Weston, who was standing nearby, leapt to his feet and exclaimed, “Ms. White, how could you talk to Mr. Ross in that manner? Mr. Ross is solely concerned with filming and is unaware of any cast member feuds. Are you implying that Mr. Ross bullies Leo as well? Do you think Leo is a huge star for whom Mr. Ross must take personal responsibility?”
Annetta had upset Weston before and he wanted to seize this opportunity to get revenge on her.
Annetta glanced at Weston and said, “I didn’t say that Mr. Ross bullies Leo. Mr. Cruz, is that what you think?”
Annetta had turned the tables on him, and Weston’s face turned red with anger.
Gino gave Weston a look, implying that he should not embarrass himself further. Then, he said to Annetta, “Ms. White, from now on, until the end of the filming, I will never let such a thing happen again.”
Gino left after saying this. He had given Annetta and Leo his word.
Through this promise, it was obvious that Gino favoured Leo.
After Gino had given them his word, Annetta walked over to Leo and said, “I’ll take you to the hospital.”
“There’s no need. I can continue filming after some rest.” Leo did not want to hold the filming crew back. Annetta could not convince him otherwise, so she asked a few of the production staff to show her the way to Leo’s lounge.
Several staff members glanced at each other, looking embarrassed. It became slightly awkward
Annetta understood when she saw that the crew did not have an answer for her. She raised her eyebrows, “I see that Leo’s first day of filming is not going too well.”
When Annetta led Leo to the film crew’s lounge, she realized Armani had dominated the lounge.
Only the main actors and actresses had their own lounge. The second and third male leads had to share a lounge.
The lounge was the size of a bedroom. Armani had dominated everything in the room. He had even shamelessly stuck his name on every item.
Leo had been consigned to a shabby chair in a small corner of the room.
Annetta looked at the long couch. Clearly, it was two couches joined together, and one of the couches obviously belonged to Leo. But, Armani had pasted his name there and had dominated everything.
Annetta brought Leo to the couch and asked him to lie down.
But Leo hesitated and said, “This is Armani’s.”
Annetta tore the paper with Armani’s name on it off the couch, “It’s not anymore. Just lie down here and rest!”
She almost forced Leo to lie on the couch and rest.
After that, Annetta went out to make a phone call.
Not long after, Elizabeth and Armani, who was supported by an assistant, came to the lounge. When Armani saw Leo lying on the couch, he immediately cried out, “How dare he sleep on my couch?!”
