“Timodore!” the visitor said in a loud voice as he turned his head and saw King Timodore and Dreckos nearby. “What took you so long to face me?” he added with his forehead showing a number of creases thereon.
“Supremo King, it is a surprise to see you. I was in my office when you came. What can I do for you?” King Timodore said aloud too, trying to control the fear deep inside him. He should not show weakness to this highest and mighty vampire otherwise, he will eat him alive.
His head tilted and his eyes landed on Dreckos, staying therein for just a millisecond, then he said, “I need a private conversation. Just between you and me. A third party is not needed.”
Dreckos looked at King Timodore, resisting in an instant to go and leave him alone in the presence of the man he now knew who. The most dangerous vampire alive in the realm.
“Dreckos, do as he said. Get out of here now,” King Timodore said as he looked at his right-hand man, with his eyes squinted a bit. Dreckos knew what that kind of look meant. He needs to go away but not too far to help when needed.
Turning his back after bowing his head, Dreckos has some reservations to go. He walked out of the visitor’s lounge and sat on the nearby couch. As he sat he suddenly remembered that Quasi and Neoma luckily, together with their Mother Queen were gone to the Knostican Kingdom. They are safe thereat, therefore. He became pacified.
Inside the visitor’s lounge, King Timodore invited the Supremo King to take a seat in the couch and he sat across him as he did.
“May I know, Supremo King if you like something to drink? Coffee, tea, or anything?” he asked his unexpected visitor but the latter shook his head slowly while keenly looking at him.
“Timodore, where are your twins? It has been such a long time that you were able to hide them from me.” The Supremo King’s eyes squinted. The offense he thought King Timodore did to him is unforgivable.
Hearing the question of the Supremo King, King Timodore’s heartbeat rose to its magnitude. This man should not see his twins, especially his daughter Neoma. He suppressed his thoughts and blocked anyone to come to try to read what’s in his mind and that includes the Supremo King. He saw how the Supremo King squinted his eyes more while looking at him. He knew that the Supremo King was trying to read his thoughts but he could not get through and it made the Supremo King get more annoyed.
“If you will not open your mind to me, I will not forgive you more, Timodore!” the Supremo King said in a powerful voice.
King Timodore composed himself not wanting to cower to his command. He is not insane to let this dubious man know his thoughts. He will let him in but will not let him see the hidden truths inside his mind. He opened his mind to the Supremo King letting him know only what he wanted him to know.
King Timodore even bowed as he spoke with a forced smile. “There your Highness, you can see through my mind. I am not hiding anything from you. My twins are not here. They are with their mother.”
“Timodore, I needed to see your daughter. I know it was her whom I felt a couple of days ago. Am I right to say that the new Suprema Queen has been born already, Timodore?” The Supremo King’s squinting eyes suddenly laced with a devilish smile.

King Timodore held his high up not wanting to beckon from the power radiating from the Supremo King. He was trying to intimidate him but he will not succumb thereto. “I don’t know what you are talking about, your Highness. My daughter was born like an ordinary vampire. Nothing exceptional and my boy just got a bit of his mother’s ability to be invisible at times after a long concentration.”
“You cannot fool me Timodore. Your daughter is not an ordinary Vampire. I cannot feel her presence in here now but you cannot hide her from me that long. Before I go, I want you to ready your daughter for my second visit. I wanted to see her. I wanted to feel what is inside of her. Are we clear, Timodore?” The Supremo King spoke high and mighty. He then stood up to go.
King Timodore released a long breath of relief when he saw the Supremo King walk out of the visitor’s lounge. There is no need to accompany him going out of the palace. He knew he will not get out through the main gate but in any of the windows away from the prying eyes of vampires inside the Glodeous palace.
He sat still on the couch until he saw Dreckos enter the visitor’s lounge with a worried expression.
“My King, what happened?” Dreckos asked the moment he sat across his King.
“Dreckos, we need to prepare for the second coming of the Supremo King. He knew about Neoma and I cannot let him see my daughter. He cannot take my daughter and use her to advance his selfish desire to rule the whole world.”
Dreckos face turned to ashen as he heard what King Timodore have said. The time they feared to happen just finally came to its beginning. “Your Highness, Neoma is still so young and although her special abilities are too strong already, she is still so naive. It is but right not to let her expose in the eyes of the Supremo King,” he muttered as she remembers Neoma’s innocent and sweet smile.
“You are right, Dreckos. Her innocence cannot be ruined so fast and so easily by the Supremo King. I will take everything to protect her, even if it will cause my life.” King Timodore muttered with firmness. His love for his children will never waive and he will do in his might to embrace them under his cloak of protection.
