Hearing Liu Yuou’s words, Li Ze said, “Thank you.”
“Do you want to know your wife’s past from my uncle?”
“That’s right,” Li Ze said, “Your aunt doesn’t have much useful information, so I need to find a way to contact your uncle.”
“Alright, let me handle that!”
Looking at his watch, he saw that there was still another minute before the ringing of the bell, so Li Ze said, “Hurry up and go back to class. We’ll talk later.”
“How about having lunch together?” Liu Yuou asked, “We can eat at Ms. Sun’s.”
“It’s not convenient to have lunch together, I have to go home.”
“Then we’ll leave it when you are convenient.”
“Okay.”
“Bye.”
Looking at the departing Liu Yuou, Li Ze said, “Remember to study hard and don’t be distracted.”
Hearing Li Ze’s words, Liu Yuou turned around and made a face at him before walking towards the classroom.
When she entered the classroom, Li Ze continued to look at the dark clouds that had made him even more oppressive. The weather forecast said it would rain today, so it was supposed to rain cats and dogs later. Li Ze, who was thinking of going home without an umbrella, went downstairs after tidying up in the office.
Li Ze had his own intentions for wanting the contact information of the Rose Club’s boss.
The owner of the Rose Club said his wife was a Top Favourite, but his wife had only done the show at the Rose Club three times, so this name was definitely not related to it. Li Ze didn’t know where his wife got the title. But he was certain that the owner of Rose Club knew his wife, and it was possible he knew her even before she went to the Rose Club.
This meant that the owner of the Rose Club would definitely know a lot about his wife.
Dis she got the title before or after getting known to him?
Whether it was before or after, he could no longer forgive his wife if it had to do with the sexual transaction.
Just as he was near the parking lot, a drop of rain dripped onto his hand.
The heavy rain poured down as Li Ze raced to the car and got in.
The rain poured violently, in addition Li Ze wasn’t in a hurry to go home, so he lit a cigarette and stared out of the window.
Because he could only hear the rain, his thoughts gradually became absorbed into his memories.
It was a hot, muggy afternoon, and he went into a stationery where he needed a paintbrush.
When he reached the place where the paper lay, he saw a girl in a long beige blue dress. Li Ze couldn’t help but look a few more times because of her pretty and pure appearance, but the girl suddenly asked if he was the owner. Li Ze said he was only here to buy a paintbrush and paper. The girl first revealed a very apologetic smile, and then said that she wanted to buy drawing paper. However, she didn’t know what kind of drawing paper she should buy. She also said that she had been in the store for five minutes but she didn’t see the owner.
Because Li Ze was an art teacher, he asked the girl what she was going to do with the paper. The girl said she was going to draw. He then asked whether it was watercolour paintings, oil paintings or sketches. He explained to her that there are different kind of papers for different uses. The girl said that she had seen a master sketched excellently beside the road the other day, so she wanted to learn. Li Ze said that learning to paint required patience and enduring loneliness, then the girl asked him if he could paint. Li Ze said yes, and the girl asked him if he was good at it.
Maybe it was because the girl was pretty and eager to learn, so Li Ze took a sketch pad from his bag and asked the girl to stay still in a pose.
The girl leaned against the cashier’s desk, her hands resting naturally in front of her, with an extremely gentle smile.
After spending less than ten minutes, Li Ze finished sketching.
When she saw the sketch, the girl was shocked and asked Li Ze what he does as a profession.
After knowing that Li Ze was an art teacher, the girl asked for his QQ number, and also said that she would ask him for advice if there was anything she didn’t understand.
The owner appeared as they talked.
Li Ze turned and asked the owner where he went to. Didn’t he even want the shop anymore, but the owner said he had stomach upset.
Under Li Ze’s guidance, the girl bought the pencils and sketching paper.
Over the next period of time, Li Ze and the girl kept in touch frequently.
Li Ze first taught the girl some drawing skills through QQ, and then they met from time to time. In the drawing, Li Ze could really be the girl’s teacher, plus he was a teacher, so when the girl saw him, she liked to call him teacher. Perhaps it was because of the girl’s optimistic and uplifting spirit, or maybe it was because the girl laughed so beautifully that Li Ze gradually became fond of her.
After being together for nearly three months, Li Ze confessed to the girl.
Li Ze originally thought that the girl would say he was aiming at the moon, but he didn’t expect that she would directly agree to be his girlfriend.
She said it’s fine even if he had no house or car, as long as they could work hard together.
Then he and the girl fell in love like other couples, and started living together.
Li Ze originally intended to save enough money to buy a house and marry the girl, but because of the lack of contraception during cohabitation which cause the girl to get pregnant, therefore they quickly married.
The girl in question was his wife, Ding jie.
Thinking about how his pure wife had become so scheming, Li Ze was truly filled with emotions.
People would always change, but their changes varied in degrees and aspects.
Li Ze naturally knew it, but he couldn’t accept his wife’s change.
Just at that moment, Li Ze suddenly twitched, because his finger was burned by the cigarette butt.
Li Ze quickly threw it out of the window and he hurriedly blew on his burning finger.
After the burning sensation dissipated, he looked outside the window as quietly as before.
Too much had happened recently, especially between him and his wife.
When conjugal trust becomes filled with suspicion, the sweetness of the past can only be memories.
The more he recalled it, the more intense his pain became. However, Li Ze found it difficult to cast the memories about his wife aside.
What would be the final result?
In Li Ze’s opinion, the final result of he and his wife would be divorce.
Li Ze wanted to light up a second cigarette, but because of the discomfort in his throat, he gave up on the idea.
After the rain relented slightly, Li Ze started the car towards the school entrance.
During the time, Li Ze sent his wife WeChat messages, asking his wife if she would come back for lunch.
Because of the rain, his wife said she’d have lunch at the company.
Li Ze didn’t even bother to ask who she was to eat with.
He didn’t really care about her eating with Lin Huilian or Lin Yunan. What he cared about was what she and the members had done on the third floor; what he cared about was who shaved off his wife’s pubic hair; what he cared about was what his wife did that won her a title as ‘Top Favourite’.
Li Ze could actually record his wife and Liu Feifei’s conversation.
But granted that it were recorded, what good would it do if it were played in front of his wife?
After all, his wife had emphasized that she only chat with the members on the third floor, and she didn’t do anything betraying him.
So Li Ze monitored his wife in a hope that she would personally commit adultery, but so far, his wife had not admitted it.
Otherwise, Li Ze would have fell out with her.
When Li Ze returned home, he didn’t see Sun Lana or Weiwei.
Because Fu Weidong wasn’t arrested yet, Li Ze hastily called Sun Lana.
