*** At Justin’s House***
” She’s gonna be alright”, the doctor said as he finished injecting her, ” Though she’ll probably be asleep for about an hour or two”, he added.
” Thanks a lot doctor”, Justin said, ” but what about her memory? Is there anything we can do about it?”, he asked.
” Apparently, it’ll be best if we let the memories return on their own, unless we would be willing to risk shocking her into a stroke or a coma”, said the doctor.
” Exactly when should we expect her memories to return?”, Justin asked.
” Well, it depends on the circumstances around her. Just try to let her be around things and people that she knows really well. It’ll help jog her memories”, he said, ” for now, let’s just let her have some sleep”, he added.
” Will do doctor. Thank you for coming”, Justin said as he led the doctor out. Meanwhile, I rolled my wheelchair to her bedside.
” Izzy baby”, I said as I rubbed my palm on her cheek, ” you’re so pretty even when you sleep”, I said with a smile.
” Aunt Maddie”, I heard a child’s voice call softly, as if afraid. I turned and saw Aiden, Amelia and even Nathan by the doorway.
” Is mommy gonna be okay?”, Amelia asked.
” Of course, baby”, I said as I rolled my wheelchair towards them. ” Alright, come on, let’s go so mommy can get some sleep”, I said to them as we went out of the room.
” Get well soon sis. Your kids are waiting for you”, I muttered to myself as I watched the kids walk with sad looks on their faces.

” Ding! dong!”, the doorbell rang. ” That better be her”, I muttered as I jumped of the bed and rushed to the door. I took a peek through the fish-eyed lens, and there she was, standing with an impatient look on her face. I hurriedly opened the door. ” Welcome back!”, I said as I pulled her in for a hug, carrying her and spinning around.
” Put me down, you idiot!”, she yelled. I paid no heed to her order.
” I missed you so so so much”, I said, feigning a teary voice.
” Let go of me!”, she said, and then gave me a headbutt, right on my eye. That sure broke the hug!
” You trying to kill me?”, I asked.
” Well, serves you right for daring to hug me”, she said.
” You never change, do you?”, I said as I covered my eye with one hand.
” Pffft, you’re one to talk”, she scoffed.
” You know what? Just go back to Tristan’s place, okay?”, I said as I walked towards the sink to rinse my eyes with some water.
” Awwwn, is someone sulking?”, she teased with a chuckle as she laughed at me.
” No I’m not”, I retorted.
” Oh yeah, that reminds me”, she said as she dug her hands into her purse for her phone, ” I saw some really shady weird stuff at Tristan’s house”, she said.
” Oh yeah? Like what ?”, I asked in a muffled voice as I dried my face with a towel.
” Like these”, she said as she gave me her phone to look at.
” What are these?”, I asked.
” Just shut up and look at them”, she said.
” Fine”, I said and then began scrolling through the pictures, ” Who are all these girls? You tryna hook me up?…. Wait a minute! Baby factory?!….. Designer baby contracts? Surrogate specimens?!….. where the hell did you get these?!”, I asked.
” In Tristan’s room, right under his bed”, she said.
” I knew he was into something shady”, I muttered, ” but this? This is way too much”, I said as I kept scrolling. Then one of the pictures caught my eye. ” Hold up!….. Hey, check this out”, I said to Janet, ” doesn’t this lady kinda look like Madison?”, I asked her.
” Hmmm, now that you mention it, they do look alike?”, she said, ” I really wish I could talk to her again. I haven’t seen her since what happened yesterday”, she added.
” You know her?”, I asked.
” Yeah, she’s a friend I met not too long ago”, she said, ” Some guys were trying to kidnap her on our way to a grocery store close to Jeremy’s house, and they kidnapped me instead. I only found out later that night that it was Tristan who ordered the kidnap”, she explained.
” Are you kidding me?!”, I exclaimed in shock, ” you were kidnapped? like by thugs with guns kinda kidnap?”, I asked.
” Yup, with masks too”, she responded.
” Oh now that fool’s done it! He’s so gonna get what’s coming to him”, I said.
” And that’s not all…”, she said as she kept telling me the details of her hectic experience throughout yesterday.

Jeremy’s POV~
” What in the world am I going to tell him? He’s so gonna kill me. I mean, the dude’s ex-military!”, I thought as I walked through the VIP corridor. I felt my heart rate increasing as I approached the door. ” Hwweewww”, I exhaled from my mouth as I got to the door. ” Here I go”, I muttered as I rang the doorbell. ” Ding! dong!”, the doorbell rang. I heard footsteps approaching. ” Hwweewww, calm down Jeremy, calm down. It’s just a conversation”, I recited to myself like a mantra as I inhaled deeply and exhaled. I heard a crackling sound as the door unlocked, and immediately the door opened. I closed my eyes
” Good evening sir…”,
” Oh Jeremy! You’re back already?”, Janet’s voice interjected. I instantly opened my eyes.
” Janet! What happ…. How did you get here?”, I asked in surprise, ” I thought you had…..”.
” You won’t believe what happened”, she interjected as she pulled me into her room, closing the door behind her.
” Uhh… Urrhm!”, I heard the sound of someone clear his throat. I looked in the direction of the sound and saw her brother coming out of the shower.
” Oh! good evening”, I greeted with as I held my hands in front of me respectfully. I was a bit nervous, so my fingers were trembling slightly.
” Good evening, young man”, he said as he walked over to the closet, ” You’re Jeremy, I believe?”, he asked.
” Yes, I am”, I replied.
” You know? my sister here talks about you, a lot”, he said as he emerged from the closet with a pair of jeans on and a white t-shirt.
” Oh really? That’s nice”, I said.
” Now I don’t know what you are to my sister”, he said as he buckled his belt, ” but you put her in harm’s way yesterday by taking her out without my permission, and that is strictly unacceptable”, he added.
” I’m really sorry sir. It was my fault truly and I should have been more careful. I’ll make sure it won’t ever happen again”, I said with a slight bow.
” Pffft”, he scoffed, ” like I care about your promises. I’m just just gonna make this clear once. If anything bad ever happens to my sister while she’s with you, no matter how little it is, I’m gonna do it back to you, on a whole nother level. Are we clear?”, he asked with his intimidating voice as he glared at me.
” Yes sir!”, I said as I gulped in fear.
” Good”, he said cheerfully as he put on his watch, ” now I’ll be going out now and I might take a while, so you guys make yourself at home, okay?”, he said, his voice now more friendly and less intimidating.
” He should be an actor”, I thought.
” Alright, off I go “, he said as he walked to the door and opened it. ” And also, if you guys must do it, use protection!”, he said with his index finger up in a sort of patriotic pose.
” Will do sir!”, I responded at attention, similarly patriotic too, as he shut the door. ” Pheeew!”, I let out a sigh of relief as he left, ” that was insane. Must be the perks of being in the military”, I quipped. Then Janet suddenly punched me in the gut. ” Ouww! what was that for?”, I asked.
” For agreeing to what he said”, she responded.
” Wait, so you’d prefer doing it without protection. Damn! I never knew you were into that sorta stuff”, I said.
” Urrghh! You imbecile!”, she yelled as she started throwing stuff at me, ” You perv!”, she yelled.
” Damn! She’s more fiesty than I thought”, I thought as I ran around the suite, being chased by her.
