“Ma’am you’re gonna have to pay up”, he said, ” I’ve taken you everywhere you asked. It’s not my fault you don’t know your address. So hurry up ma’am, I don’t have all day”, he continued.
” But I really don’t have any money on me. I just thought I’d pay you when I got home. Please let me off the hook this time or you know what? Let me give you my number, so you can contact me later, how’s that?”, I asked the man. He looked at me with an annoyed look on his face. I gave him that ” pretty please” weird smile.
” You customers can be really annoying sometimes”, he said as he speedily drove off. ” Damn, I really pissed him off”, I said. Then I remembered my plight, which was the fact that I had no idea where the villa was.
” Where do I even start looking?”, I thought as I looked around me with my hands akimbo on my waist. It was already getting dark and I had moved round the town. My phone wasn’t on me so there was no way for me contact anyone. I began to stroll in any direction I felt would lead me to the villa.
A few minutes later
It was already dark and rather cold. Then while walking, I heard muffled music coming from a bar close by. ” Grrwooo”, my stomach growled. ” I really need to get something to eat”, I muttered as I held my stomach with my left hand. I wasn’t a fan of bars but this time I had no choice. ” Perhaps they’ll have some food in there”, I muttered. Then I walked to the door of the bar. The muffled music had gotten louder, though it was still muffled.
” This is surely gonna give me a headache”, I said and then opened the door. The music blared heavily with heavily tattooed men everywhere drinking and laughing. It sort of had that Scandinavian vibe to it. I walked in and noticed some guys playing poker by the side. ” You can do this!”, I affirmed to myself, ” they are just people. They are just people”, I muttered repeatedly with my eyes closed. Then I took a deep breath and walked up to the bartender. He was a blonde bearded guy with quite the muscle mass. Despite his intimidating size, he had a really docile face, that almost didn’t match his body.
” Excuse me”, I said with a loud voice, trying my best not to get drowned in the loud country music.
” Good evening Miss. What can I do you for?”, he asked politely while he wiped a huge glass cup with a towel. He was definitely Irish. I could tell from the accent.
” Uhmmm, I’d like to get something to eat but I don’t have any money on me. Do you think you can help me?”, I asked. He looked at me a bit as if he were thinking of something. The expression on his face looked like he wanted to say no but was fighting it.
” Ahhh fine!”, he said in his Irish accent, ” have a seat. I’ll go get your something”, he said. I sighed and sat down. ” Thank God he agreed”, I thought, ” I’d definitely have fainted”. Then I remembered that the sedative may be the reason why I was feeling a bit drowsy. After a few minutes, he showed up with a plate of fried meat and an orange drink.
” Here you go”, he said as he served me.
” Thank you very much. I really appreciate it”, I said.
” Nah, it’s nothing. Come on, eat up”, he said and that I did.
Then after about ten minutes, the door bust open and a group of guys with black uniform leather jackets walked in. There entrance ushered in silence in the bar. Everyone stared at them. They were bad news obviously, at least I knew that much. They walked towards bartender’s counter where I was. I could see the look of concern and worry on the bartender’s face.
” What do you guys want?”, he asked. Then one of the guys who was in front of their procession pulled out a chair just next to mine and sat down. I suspected that he was their leader.
” Get me some ginger ale”, he ordered. He had quite the stubble on his face with long dark hair. His chest had long springy dark hairs and he had a protruding stomach that seemed to be held back by the spiky black leather belt that he had on his waist. He already reeked of alcohol, so I was quite surprised that he wanted more.
The bartender, with a worried and wary look on his face, got the glass of ginger ale and served him. The silence continued, with most of the men in the bar watching the biker gang closely. The leader gulped the whole thing down in one go and burped loudly.
” Ahhh!, that sure hit the spot”, he said as he hit the glass on the table. The bartender was about to take the glass back and then the leader held the glass. ” We came for our money”, he said to the bartender as they silently engaged in a tug of war.
” I don’t have any money for you guys, not tonight at least”, responded the bartender.
” Wow that’s rich, absolutely rich!. You don’t think we protect you from the other gangs for free do you?”, he said to the bartender.
” Well the other gangs still show up here saying the exact things you guys say and frankly, I’m sick of it”, the bartender replied. Then the leader let go of the cup.
” Okay. It’s alright, have it your way then”, he said to the bartender as he stood up from the chair. ” Everyone put your hands up now!”, he ordered as his men pointed their guns at everyone in the bar. Everyone raised their hands up. I was scared stiff.
” Psst, that includes you too Sheila”, the leader said. I slowly got up and then he grabbed me and pulled me in to himself. With his elbow around my neck and my butt grinding against his crotch, he licked my ear, sending tingles down my spine.
” Seems like we’ve got us a nice little entertainment tonight boys”, he said making the rest of the gang burst out in laughter.
” Let go of me!”, I revolted as I tried struggling my way out of his grip.
” Ooouu, looks like we’s got us a fiesty one”, he said making the gang laugh even more. ” You’re gonna please me a lot”, he whispered in my ears. Then I hit him.
” Please let go of her, she’s my guest”, the bartender pleaded with him.
” Then it’s either you give me my money or I fuck the crap out of her right here and right now”, he threatened as he fondled my right breast.
” Stop it!”, I yelled before he covered my mouth with his hand. My muffled screams filled the pub.
” Fine! don’t touch her. I’ll give you your money”, the bartender said.
” Now you’re talking!”, he said and then gestured with his head that the guy pointing the gun at the bartender should put it down and let him get the money. The guy put the gun down and the bartender walked to the cash register and picked out all the cash.
” Here’s your money”, the bartender said as he put it on the counter, ” now let the lady go”, he said. The man pushed me away and took the money from the counter. Then he counted it and a smug smirk cropped up on his face. ” That’s the spirit Johnny boy!”, he said as he burst out in hearty laughter, ” Alright boys! let the innocent men go. We’ve gotten our money”, he said prompting the gang members to holster their weapons.
” Try to be more cooperative next time. It’ll save us both a lot of time”, he said to the bartender, ” alright boys, let’s move out!”, he yelled and they walked out of bar. The sound of bikes ripped through the silence that followed their exit, as they zoomed of into the night. As the sound of their bikes faded away, everyone gradually settled back into what they were doing before, as though nothing had happened.
” Thanks for what you did back then”, I said to the bartender.
” Sure. It’s not like I could let them harass you right in my bar”, he said. ” So why are you here anyway? if I may ask”, he asked, ” ’cause this sure ain’t no place for a delicate lady such as yourself”, he said.
” Well I’m kinda lost”, I said, ” I’ve been searching around for my house and couldn’t find it all day till now”, I explained.
” You’re searching for your house?”, he asked as he looked at me with a perplexed expression on his face.
” Sounds weird, right?”, I asked with a smile, ” I almost feel stupid whenever I think about it”, I said.
” So where do you plan to sleep tonight?”, he asked me, ” because these streets are no place for a lady”, he said.
” I really don’t know. I got here solely by following my guts”, I said.
” Well, if you like, you can crash at my place tonight. That’s of course, if you’re okay with it”, he offered.
” For real?”, I asked as my eyes glowed up. I had been really worried about where I would spend the night.
” Yeah why not? I’m sure my wife and kids wouldn’t mind”, he said, ” and hey, maybe I could help you find your place tomorrow too”, he offered yet again. He was really nice, way more than you would expect from his appearance.
” I’d really appreciate that”, I said. And so I waited for him till the bar got closed for the day.
” Alright there we go. Done for the night”, he said as he locked the door of the bar. ” Alright then, it’s about time we get you to a warm bed for the night”, he said. Then we walked to his car. It was old and certainly not what I was used to seeing. We got in and shut the doors.
” Hold on a sec”, he said as he reached under the stirring wheel, touching two wires together repeatedly until it sparked and initiated the ignition. ” Aha!”, he exclaimed with a delightful look on his face as the engine began to rumble. ” That sure was quick”, he jested with a chuckle as we drove off into the night.

” It’s getting late and she’s been gone since morning”, I thought as I stared at the clock. ” Perhaps I should go look for her”, I said as I gave it some thought. “Nah! she’s not a kid anymore. I’ll check up on her later”, I muttered as I looked at my watch.
” Dring! dring!!”, my phone rang. ” It’s probably Madison”, I muttered as I got it out of my pocket. I picked it up.
” Yeah Hello”, I greeted.
” It’s me Maddie. You’re three minutes late. You don’t plan on standing me up, do you?”, she jested.
” No no, of course not”, I said, ” I’m on my way there right now, just give me five minutes”, I said further.
” Sure, I’ll be waiting”, she said in a seductive breathy voice. ” No problem. Five minutes”, I said as I hung up. Then I took my jacket and ran out of the room. I wasn’t going to let this one slip past me, not a chance.
