” That guy is a maniac “, I thought, ” I just hope we find you baby”, I said as I stared at a portrait of Isabella on the wall.

” Stop it!”, one of the girls said as she giggled. ” Oh so now you’re shy?”, I asked her with a huge smile on my face. It was just another Tuesday for me at the beach. Chilling on the beach with the ladies had suddenly become a habit of mine.
” We can take it inside if you want”, she said seductively as she bit her lips. The guys around roared in excitement as was common in these parts when you get to bang a girl.
” Geez! come on guys, you’re gonna make her embarrassed”, I said with a chuckle. ” Alright man, we’re gon’ leave you guys to enjoy yourselves”, one of the guys said before we performed our ritual handshake.

” Urrgh”, I groaned as my eyes opened slowly to reveal the rays of light penetrating my window. I sat up and stretched. ” Oh man”, I said with a yawn, ” what a great night we…..”, I was saying until I noticed that the girl I spent the night with was not on the bed.
” Joyce!”, I called with no response. ” Where did she go?”, I wondered. I got off the bed and began to look around, calling her name occasionally as I searched for her. Then suddenly I remembered.” My safe!”, I exclaimed. I ran to the dinning area and took my portrait off the wall. The safe was still locked, so I entered the combination and opened it…..
” Oh my god!”, I exclaimed, ” my money’s gone. “, I said in a sombre voice as if allowing the gravity of the situation to sink in.
” That bitch fucking stole my money!”, I yelled in frustration. My knees felt weak and I sat on the floor. ” What the hell am I supposed to do? How am I gonna survive?”, I thought.
” I’ve gotta call Tristan”, I said, ” he’s the one who got me into this mess after all”, I added as I went back to the bedroom to get my phone. I immediately dialed his number with my hands fidgeting.
” Come on pick up quickly”, I urged as I waited for him to pick up. After a few more seconds, he picked up.
” Hey man what’s up?”, he asked.
” I need money sir”, I said ,” I got robbed yesterday”, I explained.
” Yo Luke, you’ve gotta pipe down on the expenses man, you draining the shit out of me”, he responded.
” But sir, I can’t survive here without money”, I said, ” Just send even if it’s just a little”, I begged.
” Alright, I’ll tell you what. I’m kind of busy these days so how about I send you money next week, while you’ll find a way to survive till then?”, he suggested.
” But sir, I’ll need….. beep.. beep.. beep”, I said before he hung up on me. ” This is crazy. It’s fucking crazy!”, I yelled only to be interrupted by the sound of my doorbell. ” Who’s that?”, I asked in an angry tone as I marched towards the door. ” It better be that stupid bitch coming back to return my money”, I mumbled grumpily as I approached the door. The doorbell rang again. ” I’m coming damnit!”, I yelled in annoyance as I opened the door.
” Oh it’s you sir”, I said meekly as I saw that it was my landlord. He stood there with a pissed looked on his face.
” Where’s my rent?”, he asked sternly.
” Uhm, about that, I was actually gonna come pay you this morning but it turns out I was robbed last night so I haven’t really been able to replace the cash yet”, I said, ” I’d be grateful if you could give me till next week”, I pleaded.
” That’s gotta be the dumbest excuse I’ve ever heard”, he said, ” you’ve been owing me for the past one month and I’ve been seeing you hosting parties all that while and now you tell me that you can’t pay because your money was stolen yesterday? That’s low, even for you doc”, he said.
” Alright, I’ll give you the money this evening when I get back”, I said to him. He glared at me for a while.
” You’ve got only today to pay up your damn rent or you’re out!”, he yelled and then turned around to leave. ” Thanks!”, I said to him in a loud voice as he walked away.
” I’ve gotta find a way to raise that money fast”, I muttered. I hurriedly went to the bathroom and took a quick shower and then dressed up. I had made a couple of friends here in the Maldives. I called a couple of them but all of them declined. I went to Joey’s house. He was my neighbor and we usually partied together. He even the one who introduced me to narcotics, and the best part is, he’s also a dealer and my personal plug.
” I gotta tell ya man, your ass gotta go get a job or something real quick”, he said, ” I would have helped you out but business has been real slow these days with cops patrolling and all that”, he explained.
” Yeah I get it”, I said to him, ” seems like I gotta get a job now”, I added.
” I’m afraid that’s the only choice you got dawg”, he replied as I stood up and got ready to leave.
“Alright, we’ll talk later. Gotta get going”, I said.
” Okay dawg, you stay safe out there”, he said.
” Yeah sure, no problem”, I replied as we did our ritual handshake.

” Those idiots are just rich, too rich!”, I said with a huge burst of laughter, ” I mean, how dumb can they get?”, I asked rhetorically as I wiped the tears that had welled up in my eyes due to the intensity of the laughter. I was just mesmerized at how dumb Justin and his men could be.
” I think you’re taking them too lightly sir”, my personal assistant said, ” they’re surely going to learn from the mistake they’ve made and it’ll be hard to get lightning to strike twice”, he said.
” Geez you just ruined the mood man”, I said to him, ” talk about party pooping”, I quipped.
” I’m just saying this for your safety”, he said to me.
” Yeah yeah whatever”, I said , ” anyway, how’s the meeting with the leader of the Purple Mafia going? when do I get to meet him?”, I asked.
” We’ve talked about this before”, he said, ” Those guys are way too dangerous”, he explained. ” Urrgh! don’t you get it? that’s exactly the point. I want them because they’re dangerous. So get them for me”, I ordered.
” Alright boss, as you say”, the personal assistant said with a slight bow.

” What the hell?!”, I exclaimed, ” so you found no one in the mansion?”, I asked.
” Affirmative sir”, said my man, ” it seems this mansion was just being used as a decoy to distract our attention from where he truly resides”, he explained. I remained silent for a while. I hadn’t expected it to be easy but I was hopeful.
” What do we do now sir?”, the voice asked.
” You return home. We’ve already been played this time. We’ll get them next time”, I said.

” Geez what a long day”, I muttered as I walked towards my door. It was already late at night and I was feeling really sleepy having been working all day. ” I need me a warm bath and some goodnight sleep”, I thought as I brought out my keys. I tried to open the door, but the door wouldn’t budge. ” Dammit, what’s wrong with this frigging door?”, I asked. ” It has to be the landlord”, I thought. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialled the landlord’s number.
” Hey man, my keys aren’t opening my door”, I told him, ” it seems like the lock’s broken. You think you can help me out?”, I said.
” I had the locks changed, since you haven’t paid me my rent”, he said, ” you get the new keys when you pay up”, he added.
” But where am I gonna sleep…..”, I said before he interrupted me with the beeps of him hanging up. ” What an asshole!”, I said. I needed somewhere to spend the night. ” Perhaps I should ask Joey if I can spend the night over at his place”, I thought. So I called him also. The phone rang for a while and then he picked up.
” Hey man, I was wondering if I could pass the night at your place”, I said to him, ” the landlord changed the locks of my house so I can’t get in”, I explained to him.
” Oh damn bro, I got this girl over man and she’s a perfect ten. You know I can’t ruin this bro?”, Joey said, ” Alright, look here, I’ll tell you what. There’s a little shade behind my house. It’s were I chill out when it’s sunny or rainy. You can crash there for the night, how ’bout that?”, he asked.
” Humph!”, I sighed, ” I’ll go check it out. Thanks anyway”, I said as I hung up on him. ” I can’t believe I’m homeless now. Curse Tristan and his stupid plans”, I said as I began to walk down to his backyard…

So my men and I drove out to meet the Purple Mafia. I was a nervous to meet them them but I had to expand my arsenal if I am going to survive the alliance between Justin and Pedro.

We arrived at an abandoned factory. It was dark and creepy and the full moonlight shone on. it’s roof casting an even creepier shadow ” Geez talk about creepy classic”, I commented as we arrived. I and my men walked in with all my men armed. When got inside and had walked for a while, we heard a voice stop us.
” Put down your weapons, you won’t need them in here”, the voice said. “Fine”, I said to my men, ” drop your weapons, you heard the man”, I ordered. Then to the voice I said,” Alright, so what’s next? We’ve done what you asked”. ” Step forward”, the voice responded. We moved forward and after a while, the lights were turned on.
” Welcome to the Purple Mafia”, a middle-aged Mexican man with lots of tattoos said in a very deep resonating voice. I looked at him as a smirk built up on my face, ” Are you ready to make a deal with the devil?”, I said to him with a sinister look in my eyes. He smirked back and I knew right there that a powerful coalition had been formed.
