Third person POV~
Justin and his entourage had just arrived at the hospital and they didn’t come in peace, that’s for sure. He and his men barged into the hospital and went straight to the reception table.
” Good evening sir, how may I help you?”, one of the nurses asked.
” Where is Dr. Luke?”, he asked.
” Oh he hasn’t checked in today. Did you have an appointment with him?”, the nurse asked.
” I don’t have the time for these stupid questions. That man took my wife out of my house and now is nowhere to be found and you’re asking me if I have an appointment?!!!”, he yelled at the nurse.
” Oh I’m sorry sir. But you’ll have to reduce your voice at the hospital. There are sensitive patients here”, the nurse said to him.
” Why the hell should that bother me when my wife is missing?”, Justin asked the nurse.
” Well call the police. They should be the ones you meet for this kind of problem”, the nurse responded.
” Oh now you’re just pissing me off. Where’s your boss? I want to speak to him now”, Justin demanded.
Just then, Tristan walked into the hallway leading to the reception table. And as he walked closer, he clapped his hands in a slow and condescending way.
” Who would have thought that the ruckus in my hospital would have been caused by the CEO of YTC Corporation. I am honored to have my hospital disturbed by you, but then again this is a health facility and it’s only fair that you consider the sick folk around”, Tristan said.
” I don’t have time for your games”, Justin said to him, ” I’ll get straight to the point. Your doctor, Dr. Luke, who is currently in charge of my wife’s medical file, decided to take my wife away from home to conduct some tests and I gave him permission to do so, but for the past five to six hours, he has been missing and there has been no trace of my wife nor himself anywhere”, he explained.
” Hmmm that sounds pretty serious. But he could have taken her to any of our other facilities though”, Tristan said, ” let me get my men to check the CCTV footage of the entrances of all our facilities within the state. I doubt he would go outside the state, so that narrows down our options I guess. In the meantime, would you care for some coffee?”, Tristan asked him.
” Yeah I guess so. Why not?”, Justin answered. So Justin and Tristan went to Tristan’s office and they both took a seat. Then Tristan beckoned for one of the nurses to come.
” Would you please get the both of us a cup of coffee each? mine with sugar and lots of cream”, said Tristan to the nurse, ” would you like anything in yours?”, Tristan asked Justin.
” No thanks. Just bring it black please”, he responded.
” So Mr. Campbell, how’s business going?”, Tristan asked mischievously.
” You know I didn’t come here for chitchat”, Justin said, ” I need to see my wife”, he insisted.
” And you will, in due time”, Tristan replied, ” my men are currently searching for Dr. Luke’s location, so worry not. We shall find your damsel in no time”, he said with a smile.
” If I don’t see my wife before midnight, I’m pressing charges against Kelly Medicals”, Justin threatened as he stood up from his chair and walked out of the office.
” Geez that’s harsh”, Tristan quipped, ” how do I contact you if I find your wife though?”, Tristan asked.
” Oh don’t worry, I’ll find you myself”, Justin replied and shut the door. Then Tristan picked up his phone and dialed Dr. Luke, who immediately picked up.
” Good evening boss”, Dr Luke greeted.
” Good evening. Where are you currently?”, Tristan asked.
” Well, I’m at home for now. Trying to keep a low profile. How’s the patient sir?”, he asked.
” That’s none of your business anymore. Besides, you’ve gotta get out of your house and go into hiding. The cops will probably be knocking on your door by dawn”, Tristan said to him.
” What? The cops? Did Justin report the case?”, Dr Luke asked.
” Well, what do you think? He hasn’t yet reported as of five minutes ago, but he’ll probably be doing so in a couple of minutes”, he answered.
” Oh man, this is fucked up”, Dr Luke said, ” I’ll be ruined if I get arrested. My career will be over”, he mourned.
” Don’t worry man, I gotcha. Tell you what, I’m gonna send you half a million dollars right now and you’re gonna use it and travel out of the country this night”, Tristan said.
” Oh God, thank you very much sir”, he thanked.
” Yeah sure, go to the Maldives or something and relax. I’ll finish taking care of things here and we’ll talk about that promotion of yours once things settle down”, Tristan said.
” Alright sir. I’ll be expecting your call”, Dr. Luke chirped.
” No probs bro. Later”, Tristan said as he hung up. Just then, one of his men walked into the room and took a bow.
” What is it?”, Tristan asked.
” Mr. Moore just sent his lawyer to file a case against the company. We have eyes on his vehicle. What are your orders?”, the man asked.
” Geez, we certainly wouldn’t want a law battle with YTC. I suggest you deal with it quietly. I’ll deal with the rest”, he responded.
” Got it sir”, the man said as he left the office. Immediately Tristan picks up his phone and makes a call to a strange person. He takes a while to pick up and then finally he picks up. It sounds like he’s talking to a Mexican man.
” Hey Papito, Mi Amigo. How’re you doing man?”, Tristan asks in a cheerful bubbly voice.
” Tu Diablo!!! Where’s my money man?”, the voice asks in a yelling voice, which makes Tristan remove the phone from his ears as he stares it with a weird face.
” Geez bro, calm down”, Tristan says, ” I’ve got your money man. Can you meet me tonight, preferably with your men?”, he asks.
The voice hesitates to answer and then asks, ” You’re sure you got my money?”.
” Yeah man. Right here cash”, Tristan replies.
” Fine, where do you want us to meet?”, the voice asks.
” Finally! I thought you’d never ask. I’ll send you the location right now”, he replies and sends it immediately.
” I just got it. Make sure you come with my money, and no funny business okay?”, the voice says.
” You got it man. Wouldn’t wanna cross you”, Tristan replies with an awkward chuckle as he hangs up. ” Pheeew, that was scary. All these damn Mexicans”, he says as he calls his secretary.
She walks into the office and bows slightly. She is a gorgeous blonde with hazel eyes. She wears a tight short black skirt and a black suit jacket over a white shirt. ” You called sir?”, she says.
” Oh yes”, Tristan replies as he stares at the curves on her body. ” What can I do for you sir?”, she asks, but he doesn’t hear as he is lost in his mind while fantasizing having sex with her right in the office.
” Sir? sir? Mr. Moore?”, she calls after which he snaps out of it. ” Oh sorry. Anyway, call the cops and tell ’em that some guy is being attacked at this location”, he says as he hands her his tablet. ” And do it anonymously. A friend just called that he was being attacked by a gang at that location and do it quickly”, he orders.
” Yes sir. I’ll do it right away sir”, she responds as she leaves the office.
” Let’s see what move dear Justin makes next”, he whispers to himself as a sinister grin builds up on his face.

Meanwhile, in the morning, at Justin’s place. He looks quite pale. He didn’t sleep all through the night and stayed up thinking deeply about who would want to kidnap his wife. He didn’t have much enemies as he wasn’t the type to get on bad terms with people. ” Perhaps it’s a business rival”, he speculates. Just then, the twins ran into the living room, where he was and hugged him.
” Geez, what are you guys up to this morning?”, he asks them.
” Oh nothing much. Aiden is just being jealous”, Amelia says as she slips her tongue out to taunt him.
” That’s a lie! Daddy, Amelia said that she’s a princess and that I’m a peasant. And it’s a lie!”, Aiden reports.
” Amelia, don’t say mean things like that to your brother. Your brother’s not a peasant okay?”, Justin tells her.
” Then what is he? because I know he’s not a pwince, because pwinces ride horses and he doesn’t have a horse”, she asks with her hands on her hips.
” Your brother’s not a prince, he’s a king”, Justin says.
” That means mom is the queen”, Amelia says.
” That’s right. Your mother is a queen. She’s my queen”, he tells them.
” So if I’m the king, then what are you dad? are you a peasant?”, Aiden asks looking confused.
” No! Dad’s a big white horse”, Amelia confirms as she demonstrates how big the horse is with her hands. Just then, one of Justin’s men walks in with a look of urgency on his face.
” What is it?”, Justin asks feeling a bit worried.
” It’s something really serious sir”, the man says. Then Justin tells the twins to go play upstairs in their playroom. The two then run along, with Amelia chasing Aiden with her wand as she attempts to hit him with it.
” Alright, what is it? did something happen?”, Justin asks the man.
” You’ve gotta see it for yourself”, the man says as he opens his laptop and shows Justin a video. It’s a news report. There was a blonde anchor reporting and here’s what she says ” This just in. The police have just apprehended a group of men, who were caught with arms at the on the side of the road beside this car, which as you can see, has been shot at, a couple of times and the driver of the car, who was found dead by the time the police arrived, has been confirmed to be a lawyer working for the YTC Corporation. Investigations are underway as we speak……” . Justin immediately slams the laptop shut.
” What the fuck? Like what the fuck is all this?”, Justin yells.
” I think we should secretly investigate all rival companies sir. Since we currently can’t tell who is behind this”, the man says.
” No one knew where that lawyer was going, except….. That’s it!”, Justin exclaims.
” What is it sir?”, the man asks.
” It’s that Kelly Medicals guy. I told him I was going to sue his company if I didn’t see my wife before midnight. He must have taken my threat seriously and decided to eliminate the lawyer to buy himself some time”, Justin says.
” What do you suggest we do sir?”, the man asks.
” Oh don’t worry. I’m gonna beat him at his own game. I can tell that he’s a dangerous person. We can’t move carelessly”, Justin says with a dreaded look on his face. ” If he is with my wife, and I know he is, I’ll kill every last person he knows. Just you watch kid, just you watch”, he says as his breaths get heavier.
