(Nikki P. O. V)
I wake up with a headache and hold my head in agony. So many voices were shouting in my mind.
“Hi, Nikki, What happened? Are you okay?” Cole asks, looking worried.
“So many voices, it’s like a Zoo was open inside the mind,” I said with a grunt while still holding my head in my hands.
“It must be the bond,” he murmured to himself while looking lost in his thoughts.
“What?” I ask while still holding my head.
“We have just completed the mating process, so now you have officially become my mate and part of my pack. That’s why you can hear the thoughts of all the members of the pack,” he said to me.
“So what should I do to stop it?” I ask him.
“Create a wall around your mind. You know how to do it, right?” Cole asks, and I nod my head at him. Then, I did as he said to me and sighed in relief when I didn’t hear any voice inside my head.
“Better?” Cole asks, and I nod my head at him.
“Let’s go and get ready for the day,” he said and walked inside the washroom while I grabbed my clothes and went to the guest room to take a much-needed shower.
When I remove my clothes to get inside the shower, I see a dark black wolf howling at the full moon with Cole’s initial on it. When I touch it, I feel pleasure run through my body.
“It is our mate’s mark. It showed that you are fully mated to this wolf and unavailable to any unmated wolf,” my wolf Kiera said to me.
“But, it wasn’t there when Cole marked me for the first time. At that time, I only see the two holes beside my neck,” I said or, more like asked her.
“That was because you guys didn’t complete the whole mating process. The full mark makes its presence known when you complete the whole mating process,” Kiera said to me, and I nodded my head in understanding.
After taking a shower, I come out of the room while drying my hair with a towel. I heard my phone go off and, I picked up the call to see mom was calling me.
“Hey, mom,” I said on the phone.
“Hey, sweetie, how are you and Cole doing?” she asks on the phone. Mom and Dad went to Stella’s home a few weeks ago to take care of her, while her parents-in-law have gone to her sister-in-law who has recently given birth to the twins.
“We are fine now. How are you guys, and how is Stella?” I ask her.
“We are fine, sweetie, and Stella has just given birth to a healthy baby,” she said on the phone.
“Oh, congratulations, Mom, you finally become a grandmother. How are baby and Stella doing? Is she okay?” I ask her on the phone.
“Thank you, my child. Both she and the baby are fine and healthy. We have felt that you and Cole have completed the bond. So when am I going to hear the good news?” Mom asks, making me blush; when a werewolf completes the mating process, all the pack members feel the bonding between the two mates.
“Anyway, I have to go. Stella needs me, and come to visit us at the pack hospital, okay, bye,” she said and hung up on me. I get dressed, brush my hair, and then run to our room to give Cole this good news.
“Cole,” I shouted while coming inside the room and hugged him from behind.
“Hey, you look quite happy today. Did anything happen?” Cole asks while removing my hand from his waist and making me stand in front of him.
“Yes, Stella just delivered the baby, and both she and the baby are healthy and fine. Let’s go and meet them after having breakfast,” I said to him, and he nodded his head and grabbed his t-shirt, and that is when I noticed my mark on his body. It was a white wolf howling on the full moon, with my initials on it.
I don’t know what got into me, but I lean down on it kiss my mark on his neck, and giggle when he shivers in pleasure.
“Oh, no, you didn’t,” he said with a growl. I giggle and try to run away from him, but before I can do that, he catches me and throws me at his shoulder, then lays me down on the bed and starts tickling me.
After tickling me for some time, we made love for a long time. When I looked at the clock, it was already time for lunch. I had a shower together, which turned out the longest shower of my life, all thanks Cole, for not getting enough of me and getting down to have lunch with me.
When we go downstairs to have lunch, everyone present there in the dining room to have lunch has a knowing smile on their face. After lunch, the pack members also come and congratulate us for completing the mating.
“Alpha, now as you fully completed the mating. When are you planning to introduce Nikki to the whole pack as their official luna?” one of the pack members asks Cole.
“As you all know, I was chosen by the council members as the alpha king and going to be crowned soon. They will also get to know that Nikki has officially become my mate when she takes her vows as the queen of the werewolf kingdom standing beside me. So I thought that once my parents came back to the packhouse, I would keep a small bone fire party to introduce her to the whole pack as my mate before the crown ceremony. Only our closed one and the pack will be there at the party,” Cole said to them, and they nodded theirs in understanding.
After lunch and completing our work, we decided to go and visit Stella and her baby. While on the way to the hospital, we also buy some gifts for the new mamma and the baby.
“Congratulations to the new mama,” I said while side-hugging Stella.
“Thank you, Nikki,” Stella said, smiling at me.
“Where is the baby?” I ask her.
“Sleeping on his crib,” Stella said while pointing her finger at the crib, which is on the left side of the bed. I walked to the baby and looked at the fragile body. He looked like a miniature Toorak and was so small and soft.
I touched the little boy and scooped her in my arms. He cried a little, but I cradled her, and he became quiet. His lips formed a slight smirk, and he opened his eyes, showing the blue orbs like her mother.
I read the name tag. Williams Angelina Campbell. The name suits him. It was perfect like him.
I heard the door open and turned to see Cole and Toorak walk inside the room.
“Oh good, both of them are here. Toorak and I wanted to ask something of you guys?” Stella asks me while looking at Cole and then at me.
“Yes, what is it?” I ask her.
“Would you like to become the godparents of Willams?” Stella asks while looking at us.
“Of course, we would love to, do you hear it, Williams, uncle Cole and I are going to be your godparents,” I said the last sentence to Williams in a baby voice while tickling him.
“Thank you, Stella. It was an honor,” I said while Toorak took Williams from me, and I walked towards her to engulf her in a giant hug.
We spent some time in the hospital while catching up with each other and then headed home.
