I feel a pain hit me, and my bone snaps into two.
“Hold on, this is going to be painful, very painful” I heard someone say inside my head,
“Who are…” Before I say anything further, I feel another bone break inside my body.
I heard Cole calling me, telling me to be strong for him.
Another bone is broken in my body and a shrill scream comes out of my mouth. I feel my body twisting in an odd way and my skin breaking. I scream for Cole asking him to stop it. It’s hurt, it’s hurt so much.
I feel cold air and hard cold ground hit me and I shiver in cold.
“Nikki, Nikki are you hearing me, no matter what don’t close your eyes,” was the last thing I heard before I passed out due to pain.

I felt my wolf whimper when we saw our mate scream in pain, asking us to help her and we held her tight in our arms tapping that it would take some of her pain away.
I felt her thigh and calf bones crack and she cried out tears streaming down her face as I gently gathered her into my body holding her which seemed to numb the pain slightly but made her shift faster and before I knew anything I was holding her large body against me she almost rivalled my height.
I look down to see, my wolf holding a big beautiful white wolf. We just sat there on the ground and this moment was perfect but there was only one problem.
Nikki is not breathing. I looked at Nikki’s wolf form scanning her body for any sign of life when I saw none my eyes started clouding over and it wasn’t until I blinked that I figured out that they were real tears that I was shedding. I lick and nudge her hoping for any reaction but none and I whimper in pain.
“Calm down, Cole, she is not dead, she is very much alive, she has just passed out due to exhaustion,” I hear Emma say to me while patting my fur. I shift into my human form and check her pulse and heart rate not caring about my rudeness and sigh in relief when I hear her heartbeat, it is slow but it is there, and feel her pulse, I sigh in relief.
“Let’s take her home,” Emma said standing from her place. I stand up and my father passes me my clothes I wear them as fast as possible without taking my eyes off my mate.
“She is going to be okay, right?” I ask Emma worriedly while taking my mate in my arms as gently as I can.
“Yes, she will be alright, it will take some time for her to wake up, but she is going to be okay,” she said walking out of the forest and I followed behind her with the others.
“Are you sure, because when I checked for her heartbeat, it was slow,” I asked still worried about my mate.
“Yes, I am sure about it, and her heartbeat is slow and not normal because she is weak and more than exhausted, due to shifting and all, once we get home, I will do her whole check-up and do her treatment, to make sure she will be okay,” Emma said and I nodded at her feeling satisfied with her answer. When we reach our picnic spot, Emma packs everything with a snap of her finger. Ryan and Kelvin pick up everything from there and follow us to the car.
Ryan takes the keys from me and drives back home, with my family with him. While Emma, Kelvin, and me and Nikki drive in another car. As soon as we reach home, I get out of the car and run with Nikki to our room. I as gently as I can put her in the bed. Emma comes inside the room and pushes us all out of the room, too much of my dislike.
After some time, she opens the door and I rush in to see Nikki in her human form, tucked inside the cover, and I get attached to her. Emma walks towards her and injects her with an injection. I checked her heartbeat and sighed in relief when I found it normal.
“I have forced shifted her into human form, and her heartbeat is normal now, it will take some time for her to wake up and she will feel disoriented but she will be fine,” Emma said to us.
“How much time will it take for her to get conscious?” I ask her.
“That, I can’t tell you, she is the first hybrid of a witch and werewolf, so I can’t tell anything about it,” she said with a shrug.
“Can we stay here, until she wakes up?” Mom asks her.
“Of, course we can, because I will not go to leave my mate’s side until she wakes up, and I know she is going to be okay,” I said holding Nikki’s hand in my hand and kissing it.
“Of course, you can,” Emma said and walked out from there.
