“Really? Why then did you waste my time? Why was I then waiting for you to return to reverie?” She asks furiously as I pat her, promising to make it up to her.
“Get it done on time. I need plenty of rest before I resume today.” She says.
“You didn’t even spend up to thirty minutes spreading those legs. Did you?” I ask.
“It doesn’t matter. You’re always too rough and hard on me. I wonder how Amanda copes.” She responds.
“Never let a third-party learn about this,” I instruct, “and let me inform you since it seems you’ve been in the dark for so long…”
She sits up in bed as she gets her clothes on again. She turns to face me, eagerness written all over face.
“What’s it?”
“Today is the day Jack and Jake shift into their wolves. The problem now is that Dominic has empowered himself and gathered strong men to himself and they’re coming here to disrupt the ceremony. The moon goddess regards a wolf as an Alpha’s son as long as the wolf celebrates his wolf coronation ceremony in that pack, without a father or a mother in view. Jack and Jake are sometimes regarded as his kids but he knows that he can’t claim them again after they celebrate their ceremony in my pack. So he’s coming with full force.” I say.
“Why didn’t you say that earlier? This ain’t time to be fucking from a place to another, you should get some sense.” She says and I feel insulted. I try to remain quiet about it but my wolf won’t let me. I roll my eyes at her instead.
“Do you mean I should prepare warriors Incase he tries something funny? I should prepare them now? What’s time? It’s past 6 0′ clock already.” She says.
“Yes. Gather them together and ensure they’re well trained. I don’t want any bloodshed on this glorious day.” I say and suddenly receive a mind message again. My wolf reacts wildly as I suddenly enter my mind link to hear it.
“Alexander! Be quick about this. Do you want to watch my kids being taken away from me again?!”
“Not just your kids, ma’am. Be quiet. I’ll be there soon.” I retort and return to normalcy. I scan around and can’t find Prady. She suddenly approaches from the restroom, well dressed and prepared for the day job.
“See you.” I wink at her, exchange handshakes as I run back to my quarters, so I’d attend to the impatient woman.
“You’re the one disturbing me since. Now what do you want?” I ask as I reach my doorstep.
“Where is Dominic and the warriors? How do they want to do this?!” I ask from her but she hands over a fire message she’s received this early morning. I read it.
“Alpha Dominic has plans to disturb your plans for today. He claims he’s got kids there and won’t want to lose them now that he might be appointed the King Alpha.” It read.
I shakily sigh as I run out of her presence. She calls me back but I ignore and walk up to the security wolves by the gate.
“Double up,” I instruct as they bow, “double up on time. We have upcoming intruders. They are stronger. Double-up and wear as many shield as possible.”
After I inform them, I run up to the pack’s electronic room to inform the one in charge to display the information to the pack’s projector so everyone will see it and know what’s going on currently but as I get there, I meet Prady informing him already. I want to retrace my steps and return to meet Nora for more tips to avoid Dominic but she calls me back.
“Glad you came. This dumbo here doesn’t want to listen to me. Let him know the power of a beta.” She says.
“But ma’am, I need to confirm the authenticity of the message you’re about to display to the pack. I’d be stoned if found out false. Not you.” He replies her.
I nudge him and he bows as he turns back to look at me, “moving forward, any information she relays to you is very true. Don’t doubt it. She can’t deceive the pack. Now, upload that shit and let everyone know what’s going on. Jack and Jake’s coronation ceremony and the intruder’s quick notice. Let’s secure everywhere, including the back of the pack. It’s dangerous there but they might risk their lives to get inside here. Afterall, he might have got immortal wolves with him.”
“Are there are immortal wolves?” The dude asks.
“I’d demote you right after today.” I say and walk out of the electronic room. Nora bumps into me as she’s gussed right that I’ll be right here.
“I know Dominic right well. He might get to the pack through the back of the pack. And you know the kids’ room is closer to the back of the pack than your quarters.” She says as we both hurry down the back of the pack. Many wolves haven’t resumed the daily activities yet as I’ve announced the official time as 7am. Anyone who wakes up before then as long as it’s after 5am, is free to start work. The only exception is when there’s an intrusion into the pack, whether wolves or substances like silver air melting down and dropping into the pack’s floor.
As we get to the back of the pack, we notice the gate being forced open. My lips curl up to a smirk as I check to see who’s there and they’ve got the logo of Dominic’s pack. I shut the gate tight as Prady approaches, sweating on her forehead, flinging a gun towards my direction. I quickly collect it as I quietly open the gate, firing shots at the skulls of whoever is there. Nine of them drop dead but I don’t know about others. I didn’t even count them. I shut the gate and order Prady to summon at least fifteen warriors to secure here. They wouldn’t really reveal themselves like those standing by the door. They would hide and when a figure or move is noticed, the would come out and fire shots at whoever found.
She nods her head and she carries out the instruction instantly.
